Over the years I've seen several different doctors, and every one of them has been knowledgeable, respectful, and quick to provide what I needed -- whether it was a doctor's letter, a referral, or follow‑up care. I've had occasional delays with referrals being processed, but I've recently learned that most of those issues were on the IEHP side, not Neighborhood Healthcare. Compared to other clinics I've tried, the difference is huge. I even tried UCR Medical Clinic, and after three separate appointments I still couldn't get a single referral completed. I ended up returning to Neighborhood Healthcare because they've always taken care of me and actually get things done. After nearly two decades as a patient, I can say they've earned my trust.

I needed to use the restroom and although there were medical staff doing nothing and standing right there looking at me, no one would help me all I needed was a wheelchair. That went on for seven hours. After this happening, a tech was supposed to take me in for an MRI. He didn't want to do it. I could hear him trying to get others to do it or to come with him. ( I'm pretty little and not that difficult to deal with ) I heard someone saying "Sharon likes falling down" and others laughing ( maybe because I had been in for falling before ? )Due to my thought process this was a really scary time for me. Between the staff in the waiting room the tech for the MRI and the other staff thinking my falls were something to be laughed about they were very unkind and unprofessional. I do have to say that the Doctors were always great. And once I was taken up to the 6th floor I have nothing but good to say the Doctors Nurses CNA's everyone I encountered were always professional kind and caring.

STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN....These people are rude and do not care about your health. You get stuck in…read moretheir bureaucratic nonsense and they don't even mind telling you that's just the way it is. My mom is post-surgery TKR and started PT immediately in the hospital, this is a narration of my experience with Hemet Home Health. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get anyone there to listen. I have filed a grievance with the insurance. No one needs to be treated without respect and dignity. Insurance was approved and Hemet Home Health was supposed to provide the care. Their policy is to have a nurse assessment before PT, understandably so. However, it took several phone calls, before they even realized she was post-surgery. I kept asking that they look at the MD orders. The lady scheduler told me, she did not know she was post-surgery, and that she would have scheduled sooner. MD is now stating window of opportunity is closing before my mom is stiff. I kept telling them this until I started yelling and screaming and demanded that I get a status on when PT would start or get sent someplace else. Nurses are coming for dressing changes, would vac, etc. (not MD orders). The doctor specifically instructed that only his team needed to look at the surgical site. My mom does not understand English language very well. I can't even imagine what would have happened if they started messing with her surgery site. Each nurse promised they would document so that PT can get started to no avail. Why can Hemet Health not carry out MD orders? After weeks of no PT, PT was finally started but on the days she is at the doctor's office. I categorically stated, NO WEDNESDAYS due to MD post sx appts. The only PT available can do only Wednesdays. Here we go again with the phone calls, then I was given the wrong PT number. I was calling some random PT number in Vegas. At least the person apologized, after I called back (would have been nice if they called me back with the correct number) but hey, they apologized. Finally, I have PT and OT no problem with this company; however, Hemet Home Health continues with their incompetence, rudeness and outright disregard for patient care. Today, 7/20/23 - Tania, a very rude office staff called, stating " I understand you are receiving PT with no nurse visits. The nurse has been calling you and you did not pick up. I quickly checked my phone and offered to send a screenshot. Her response. This is not a debate. Wow! I then asked does nurse need to call each time as I gave her my cellphone number? This set off a storm... The mere fact that I missed a call and called back shows I follow up on missed calls. If I would randomly call a number that I don't know, why would I miss the nurse's call and not call back? After all my ordeal to set up PT/OT why would I not answer my calls? PT/OT call and text just fine every week. Hemet Home Health can see this, so the accusation is just unreal and baffling. At this point, I realized I am dealing with both an incompetent agency and equally incompetent staff. I have interfaced with at least 4 or 5 people in this agency, so I am leaving this review because it is a systemic/organizational issue. The fish rots for the head down. Train your staff on customer service, fix your bureaucratic bottlenecks, and treat patients with care. You are in business because of the patients.

EXCEPTIONAL CARE - TRUE ANGELS ON THE 3RD & 4TH FLOORS…read more I cannot say enough incredible things about the care my grandmother received at Loma Linda Medical Center - Murrieta during an incredibly difficult time for our family. 3rd Floor - Day Shift | 2/2/26 A heartfelt thank you to Grace, RN and Nilo, PCA, who exemplify what compassionate, patient-centered care truly looks like. From the moment I arrived, it was clear my grandmother was in the hands of absolute professionals who genuinely care. Grace is the kind of nurse every hospital should strive to clone--knowledgeable, calm, attentive, compassionate, and incredibly thorough. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered every question with patience, and treated my grandmother with dignity, warmth, and respect at all times. Her bedside manner is truly exceptional. Nilo was equally outstanding. She went above and beyond in every way--attentive, kind, gentle, and always one step ahead of what my grandmother needed. She treated her like family, not just a patient, and that meant everything to us. Her compassion, professionalism, and work ethic did not go unnoticed. Together, Grace and Nilo made an incredibly stressful hospital experience feel safe, human, and comforting. They were attentive without being rushed, professional without being cold, and compassionate in a way that simply can't be taught--it's who they are. 4th Floor | 2/6/26 I also want to recognize Kristina, RN and Ivy, PCA for the exceptional care they provided when my grandmother was transferred to the 4th floor. They were fully aware of the very difficult situation we had been going through, and from the moment they stepped in, they brought compassion, professionalism, and genuine kindness. Kristina was attentive, communicative, and reassuring--ensuring my grandmother's needs were addressed promptly and explaining everything clearly, which meant the world to our family during such a stressful time. Ivy was just as amazing--always gentle, patient, and attentive, treating my grandmother with dignity and care at every interaction. In the middle of what has honestly been a nightmare, these four caregivers were a bright light. Their empathy, dedication, and humanity did not go unnoticed. If leadership reads this, please know that Grace, Nilo, Kristina, and Ivy are true assets to your hospital and deserve recognition. Because of them, my grandmother received not just medical care, but genuine kindness, patience, and respect--and that makes all the difference. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Loma Linda Hospital trades heavily on its legacy and branding, but once you move past the façade, what you encounter is a system startlingly out of step with modern medical standards. The protocols feel outdated, the equipment feels dated, and the bedside manner if one can even call it that often borders on indifferent. Many other reviewers have noted the same pattern: long stretches of neglect, staff who seem inconvenienced by the presence of patients, and a pervasive sense that efficiency and compassion are optional add-ons rather than core values. My experience aligned with those concerns far too closely. One of the most telling examples is their approach to patient comfort. In 2026, most reputable hospitals use variable-pressure, inflatable beds designed to prevent pressure sores and reduce pain. Loma Linda, astonishingly, does not. Instead, they wedge rigid, diamond-shaped foam blocks under patients' backs devices that feel more like medieval orthopedic experiments than modern medical supports. Numerous reviewers have complained about this exact issue, and it's not hard to understand why. It's painful, unnecessary, and emblematic of a facility that has not kept pace with basic patient-care standards. What's worse is the attitude that accompanies it. Patients are often treated as burdens rather than human beings in distress. Several reviewers describe being ignored for hours, spoken to curtly, or dismissed outright when expressing discomfort. That was my experience as well: a sense that the staff had grown numb to suffering, or simply stopped caring about it. Loma Linda's reputation may rest on decades of history and a veneer of moral authority, but reputation cannot substitute for empathy, modern equipment, or competent patient-centered care. Eventually, every one of us will face a moment of vulnerability in a hospital bed. One can only hope that by then, the people running this institution will have rediscovered the basic humanity that seems to have slipped through the cracks.

Dr…read moreSharma explained everything I wanted to know about my lymphoma diagnosis and expected treatment, and explained various things I didn't even know I didn't know. I really had no complaints about my initial visit with Dr Sharma, other than perhaps the office setting which is run down, located in an old part of town, and doesn't really enforce a professional medical office. My complaint is with my second visit, or should I say lack thereof. I initially had a 2nd visit scheduled for November 4th, but received a call informing me that my appointment needed to be rescheduled for November 19th. My wife and I made the almost one hour drive to the office, at which time we were told they did not have me scheduled for an appointment. The receptionist informed me that they have been having an ongoing problem with their appointment system, and it appears my appointment was never scheduled on their system or, the person that made the appointment failed to put it into the system. She then explained that Dr Sharma, my treating doctor had no availability today and another appointment would need to be rescheduled. I was initially diagnosed with cancer in May, so 6 months ago. I have had some blood tests, and EKG, a PET Scan and the chemo port put in, all which has taken 6 months to complete because it takes so much time to be able to get in to have these procedures done, even though everything was specified as a rush! The blood tests is the only thing that can be done quickly. I'm scheduled to have one final procedure done the first of next week before I can apparently begin treatment, so I was hopeful I could reschedule my appointment with Dr Sharma within one week at the latest. Well, given that every facility I've been to has treated my cancer diagnosis like it was a common cold with absolutely no rush on anything, why should The Oncology Institute be any different. The receptionist told me the earliest appointment I could get was in one month! I've been dying a slow death everyday since my initial diagnosis and now I have to wait another month to see my Oncologist! I have no idea what stage my cancer is at, or even when I'll finally be able to start treatment, but I'm sure it won't be this year! Hopefully by 8 months from my diagnosis I'll finally start my initial treatment, if it's not already too late. My delays certainly don't reflect on Dr Sharma, but having The Oncology Institute failing to put my appointment in their system, then making me wait another month for an appointment is completely unacceptable, especially for a cancer patient! This has unquestionably set back my initial treatment at least another 6 weeks. Cancer isn't a freak'n minor issue that can simply be handled like an ordinary doctor visit or rescheduling of an appointment! Waiting 7-8+ months since an initial diagnosis is far too long to wait for treatment, in my opinion. I don't know what the average wait time is, but I do know the sooner you start treatment the better your chances of full remission. In the UK, I believe treatment must begin within 90 days from when a patient is diagnosed which sounds reasonable, certainly better than 7-8+ months! I've read good information about Dr Sharma which is the only reason I'm holding off going elsewhere, but to be honest, I'm extremely upset with The Oncology Institute right now, not only for the lack of concern for me, but especially for what today's screwup did to my wife and I emotionally.

Very professional and friendly staff. I felt seen and heard, which is vital when you are dealing…read morewith Cancer and/or blood issues.
