So I am waiting to take a Glucose test. My Dr. sent in the requests. Here's the thing My understanding is that if you post a sign saying, " please See an attendant to make a appointment" would mean that you can make a appointment with the attendant. So we (17 month old daughter and I) waited to see a attendant and they were inattentive to their front desk. There was another lady, dressed in nursing scrubs who also was displaced for waiting too long for the negligence of the staff. I live down the street from here. The reason why I say, " I live down the street is because the lady I spoke to made it seem as if my presence there was unwarranted." I can only assume because I was being discriminated against. I asked her, " Is this change for all the Quests or just this one?" She said, " the ones here to fair oaks". Which implied to me that I was not the type they treat well by the looks of me. So it was the closest to my convenience. Waisting people's time who are at work, on the job, or have high priority resolutions. Is not a standard of professionalism. Really horrible ethically and just overwhelmingly negative in response to their interaction Overall. There isn't a way that this will be easily fixed, as you would have to restaff completely, Retrain them and give insight to how boldly unaware they pretend to be to how there employees are here. read more

They've managed to get people in and out much faster, that's my three stars. My complaint is with how the blood was taken. It was drawn out of the top of my arm, it not only hurt more than usual, but my arm bruised badly. It turned yellow with dark purple areas within about a 3 inch area. It's been over a week and it's finally getting lighter. My veins stick out all over from weight lifting and I've donated at the blood bank for years with no problems. read more

Have been to Quest in Fair Oaks on Sunrise numerous times in the past with good results. My doctor sent over requests for lab work, checked the website after fasting for 12 hours and went in, no one at the counter, I proceeded to check in with the automated system and took a seat, there was one gentleman also seated, after about 10 minutes a woman came out demanding to know who had problems registering, at first the gentleman didn't say anything, I'm sure due to the woman's tone in asking but finally said it was him, she proceeded to help him, went back to the counter forcefully placing paperwork on the counter looked at me and rudely asked if I had an appointment, I told her my Dr had sent over my lab requests, she again in a very condescending tone said I had to have an appointment and would have to come back, I told her I wouldn't be able to return and she rudely gestured to the open door, which I got up and left. I can understand the appointment situation but you should post on your website that you will not be seen without one or when you go in and register it should tell you no time slots are available or post on the entrance if you don't have an appointment you cannot be seen, any of these would be better than being treated poorly by an employee simply for doing what your doctor told you to do. I will never return to this location because of the way I was treated. read more

I am absolutely terrified of having my blood drawn, today I walked in nervously, and a very kind woman helped me through the process, I told her I tend to faint when having bloodwork and she suggest we switch rooms so I could lay down, she was very kind and talked me through it. If I could give zero stars I would. I have a disability and a legal exemption to not wear a mask. I made sure to call when I booked my appointment to verify that a face shield would be sufficient since their policy states on their company voice message "a mask or other face covering". When I arrived I had forgot my shield in the car of my friend that dropped me off. The employee at the check in desk didn't say anything about me breathing fresh air as I sat there a full 10 minutes. Then the girl came to call me back to draw me. She stated that I'd need a mask. I said very calmly "Ma'am I am medically exempt and cannot do that. I had a shield of my own and left it in my friends car on accident. Would you be able to provide me with one from your supply?". She then stated she'd go get one. She was gone another several minutes and returned to say her supervisor told her no. They will not accept wearing a face shield. That I had to wear a mask. Refusing service based on someone's disability is against the law. Masks aren't the law and the CDC just said no more. Aside from the baseless bullshit of the mask thing you legally must give the disabled another option. I filed a formal complaint with Quest Headquarters and have spoken with an attorney. I will not rest until those involved lose their job for siding with this tyranny. Quest will never get the business of myself or my large friend and family circle again. read more

Two people maybe three working.....NO one should have to wait this long.....I've yet to be acknowledged for over twenty-five minutes......and it smells like gross onions in the lobby. I must have showed up at the wrong time. This place is swamped today. Friday morning at 10:15am. I thought the beginning of the week was usually the busiest time. The lady at the counter is friendly and the place is clean, and well lit. It's super cold in here though so bring a sweater unless it's summer time. You've been warned. After waiting for about 15 minutes though I was called back and out of there in 20. So overall not bad considering the waiting room was jammed packed. read more

Like any other quest lab, only 2 people work during a time when it would be swamped due to fasting blood draws. 1 draws the blood, 1 does the paperwork. It is actually frustrating why they can't put more people to work in the morning. Then there are 2 people at the back laughing...hopefully doing something. If i have a choice, id go to another lab...unfortunately, Mercy only deals with this inefficient lab company. Wait time is always 1-2 hours. read more

I've always come here because they were so quick in and out but apparently not today actually waited 2 hours!!!! I would have made an appointment but when I called they were all really late in the day and I work. There were three staff members at all times why did it take so long. Then they say ok you're next but you're not cause they have appointments ahead of the your next comment. Will be trying a new place next time . read more

I came in at 7:04 and told the lady ROAN at the front desk that I have a glucose test time test. She said ok wait a little bit! I wait until 7:55 am and then she called me very bad attitude They have a signal that if we came for any time test we have to let them know. The lady ROAN is very rude and for her doesn't meter what kind of test you have.I think the stuff put that signal in front on their desk just to make the office beautiful and to seems that they are incompetent. So being pregnant and fasting very hungry I lost an hour looking at ROAN for nothing and then 2 more hours For the test.By the time I stayed there one more lady made a complain on that woman ROAN a Very rude and incompetent worker They have to fire ROAN because she makes people to feel mad and nervous and drive them crazy. As labs go these guys are very organized. The receptionist is also a phlebotomist. They had three on staff. When I arrived there were plenty of open seats. When I left 15 minutes later nearly all the seats were full. Don't bring your knitting - I did. You won't have time for it. ;) read more

This lab is clean and appears well kept, so two stars for that. The big problem is the wait times. It seems every time I have been here there are masses of people waiting and only one or two people working slowly. They really need to staff better especially at peak times. I have had to do a lot of lab work over the last several years and quest locations are really all over the map, both literally (locations all over) and in regards to their quality of service. I've had some good ones and some really bad experiences. This location I've only gone to a couple of times, but the wait has been minimal, the staff very courteous and friendly, the facility clean, and an overall very pleasant experience. Make an appointment. That's my suggestion. If you don't have an appointment, the first hour of the day is first come, first serve with no appointments scheduled, so if you are fasting with no appointment, show up early. Usually crowded especially in the morning with those who are fasting. I've been here 4-5 times and only had one bad stick, they got their best tech for the second stick. Sure appreciated that. Once, my paperwork wasn't in the computer. I sure would like a number to call and verify it's there before I wait to be called and get turned away. I saw this happen to several folks. Frustrating. It's a pretty good place and I like the fact that I can stroll over to Trader Joe's in the same shopping center and break my fast with some coffee and a snack at the free sample bar when I am finished with the draw. read more

People that come into this place are such trolls. I commend the front desk lady for keeping her patience with all these rude people. Simple, if you are a walk-in, be prepared to wait through everyone else that's an appointment. Maybe if you were responsible like them, you would have set an appointment and would be seen sooner. If you would have just been observant instead of a smart ass with an attitude, you would have seen if you just looked up that you need to check in with the iPad and also sign the paperwork that's sitting right next to it, idiots. If you have no idea what to do, ask someone. Remember you came in here because YOU need something from them, are a walk-in and are just an idiot if you continue to sit there not knowing what to do after 20 minutes of walking in, then complain about it. One employee whose job was to scowl and walk up and down the hall with a piece of paper. No one but the beleaguered male was doing the work. I called and made an appt for 1:30 pm only to find upon getting there that, for some reason the phone appointment process had failed to register my time. The woman at the front counter was abrasive and unhelpful. I wish I had gotten her name but I was so frustrated that I did not. She told me the wait was going to be at least an hour. I was already annoyed so I said I would have to run to a shop in the same center for a moment because I had an errand. The woman told me I was not allowed to leave! Even though I had already checked in. (If I had hours to sit around I wouldn't have made the appt in the first place) my companion as well as several other of those in the waiting lobby all remarked on the unfriendly and gruff way in which she treated patients. One woman remarked that she had been there once before and "assumed it was just a bad day, but now I'm thinking every day is a bad day for her. We won't be coming back to this location again" It was humiliating. She then told me she wouldn't be able process my paperwork, and it would be an even longer wait! I was there for nearly an hour when I showed up on time for a simple appointment! The woman was unhelpful, and extremely rude. Not a person who should ever be on a front desk!
