I'm shocked at the reviews for this location. So much so, that I had to double check I had the address right. I've been having regular blood work done for the last 6 months or so at another local company, which has been an absolutely miserable experience. I decided to change it up and try Quest and the experience was excellent. There is no front desk, so you have to check in using the iPad in the waiting area, but if you book in advance, it's very easy. I was in the waiting room for about 5-7 minutes, blood drawn and out the door within 15-20. Very organized and clean, friendly staff. Highly recommend. I will definitely be back. read more

Rigid, lack of empathy, cold and some uncaring techs. Ugh a specimen I submitted was off less then a millimeter and the technician wanted to reject asked to speak with another tech The original tech told the new tech she( that would be me) doesn't believe me. Seriously. Yep I questioned her judgement and thought that another tech might understand that less then a millimeter in most labs would still be considered good. Rude, impatient, disrespectful. Walked in, no receptionist, only a touch screen. As I was typing, someone came into the waiting area from the back and told me it was too close to closing time to see me. ( I came for a blood draw). A patient followed him out and heard this. He was fuming. He had been there two hours, was told he did not have an appointment, that he was late, order written incorrectly. He said they argued about several issues, including time scheduled, service needed, place in line, and more. read more

Long term local Quest customer (blood tests) seeing sadly and rapidly degrading service and attitudes from the revolving door often visibly unhappy staff. Two silent phlebotomists were unexpectedly in the room, the younger (apparent trainee) seemed to take care but still created a large blood blister hematoma by puncturing my vein. read more

I made a reservation for my fasting blood work online, and since I had to be at work by 7:00 am I was a little concerned that I would get it all done on time. My appointment was for 6:10 and I arrived at 5:50. There were two customers waiting at the locked door, and about a minute before it was unlocked, I received notice that I could check-in online. I'm thrilled I did! The two other customers were using the kiosks in the lobby to check in, and they called me back at 6:01! The blood test was quick and painless, the technician was friendly and professional, and I was out of there by 6:15. The setting was clean and safe, and I got my results back the very next day! Can I put in a minus star. Went in for blood work for a physical and didn't run tests. Website is horrible, customer care even worse.

I had a 7:30 appt this morning for bloodwork. When I arrived I realized I had forgotten my paperwork. I was told by Juliette to have the Dr fax it which I did. However,the nurse at the office said they often try to fax there and it never is received. As a precaution they sent a message to my phone. When I checked with Juliette, as expected, she had not gotten it. She asked to see it on my phone and she did. She sent it to another number. Could have Been her phone? Not sure. She was not communicating. She continued taking other patients. Once in a while she'd look at my phone again. I sat there being very patient until 9 am.--1 1/2 hours!! When she kept seeing other patients, she obviously wasn't helping me!! A little after 9 am, when the "inner sanctum" door opened to admit yet another person, I Followed them in to inquire about my status. She immediately said "you wait outside." That was unacceptable. I never once treated Juliette unkindly or rudely. Luckily a woman by the name of Kathleen stepped in. She took charge and within 1/2 hr I was having blood drawn. Both Kathleen and the woman who drew my blood (Room 4) were very courteous and helpful. (5stars for them). This Juliette was so rude not only to me but to others. She should be fired. She is singly handedly ruining your reputation and that's a shame. The others there are very courteous and helpful. As I sat waiting and observing, Juliette would come out to the waiting room and call a patient's name. There was a language issue. One such name was Steve. The pronunciation was so far off that Steve didn't respond immediately. When he finally realized he said," Steve??" She said yes and repeated it her way sounding annoyed with him that he didn't know his own name! She was scowling showing her annoyance as he walked ahead of her. Language barrier acceptable; attitude not acceptable!! I'll bet the majority of these complaints are on her. read more

I booked my appt. ahead. I arrived and barely sat down and was called right on time! They had more employees to draw blood than I've seen in the past. It was clean, everyone was nice! I recommend everyone book ahead. The phlebotomist who took care of me was highly skilled! I barely noticed the stick. I'm a nurse and everything was fantastic! Great job everyone! read more

The worst customer service and the women there are the worst. I had an appt. I arrived early and used their filthy kiosk to check in. I choose the option to wait outside because the lobby was full and people were coughing. They never texted me so I went back in to check the status the person yelled at me as if I was in the wrong. It was so nice to hear (after checking in and sitting for 45 minutes and seeing my name on the standby list with 2 others) that, and I quote here "we aren't taking any standbys. We stopped taking them at 1030 this morning" So I asked the obvious question which sounds logical to me. " Wouldn't it be nice to let people know that before they sit here wasting their time thinking they are going to be seen? The screen has my name on it." I have never had a bad experience having blood drawn and have had more than a normal person's share of blood drawn. The young female technician at Quest off Bonita Beach Rd blew out my vein resulting in a baseball size hematoma. And then she tried to make me believe that I had that when I came into the lab. It's been a week and a half and the swelling is finally going down. But my doctor says it will probably take a couple months for the hematoma to totally go away. I will never go back to quest lab. read more

I'm sure I'm not the only one who does NOT like going to get bloodwork - HA! I had a 7:45am appointment and arrived about 30 mins early. There were about 5-6 others in front of me. They do take you right around your appointment time, I was hoping I would get lucky and they'd take me early but that's okay - I know now so I'm not internally suffering and thinking about bloodwork and needles!! Do not go to this location, try LabCorp. They barely speak English here and are rude when they attempt to. They look to tell people no and argue even when someone is just asking for a phone number to make an appointment. The reviews are current, they are especially rude here. read more

Make sure you make an appointment by calling or through the website BEFORE going! They had ok customer service and since it helps being a Spanish speaker I think it helped with their customer service a bit. It's can be the type of culture they are so I understand why other have trouble with their customer service. I arrived 20 minutes early (even though the website said 10) with my ID and checked in at the Kiosk. My husband had a confirmed 1130 appointment. We were early for the appointment. The only thing we needed was a blood draw to send off the serum to our facility back home. A half hour later, they said they were still waiting for the blood to coagulate. In 10 minutes, the blood is coagulated. They had to pour off the serum into another tube to be sent out. Told us we had to send it out ourselves. At 12:45, we were still waiting for the box, so we could send it out. Being a lab technician myself. I know it shouldn't take this long. Nobody in the lobby that you could talk to unless you happen to catch somebody calling another person back. The one time we were able to talk to somebody, they said they were still waiting for the blood to coagulate, but it had already been a half hour after the draw. In that half hour, everything should have been completed by then. read more

Unprofessional behavior in the extreme. Chaotic environment with staff yelling and complaining about workload and patients. Discussion of patient issues so loudly that everyone in the waiting area and lab area knew what patient had what problem. Staff blood draw skills so subpar as to be negligent/malpractice. I am a retired nurse so I know the skills demonstrated were unacceptable. Unfortunately due to insurance constraints I am obligated to use a Quest lab, so I will have to go to another location. read more

I certainly will never go to Quest Diagnostics ever again. I received a message from them that I needed to make an appointment for some tests my doctor ordered. I didn't know what tests or which doctor ordered them. I could not reach a human being at Quest via telephone, so had to drive to their office. The receptionist actually did not know what to do, so said they were having problem with their system. They have people that are not properly trained or give a damn. I have had other bad experiences with them, so time to move on. They scare me! read more

My husband had to have a pre-employment drug test and THEY LOST HIS URINE SAMPLE!!!!! Complete incompetence! It was scanned in and then lost! How? It's a lab that does hundreds of urine tests a week and EVERYONE that works there should know you don't just throw away urine. If they don't know that there's a problem. Scheduled a blood draw in advance for 8:00am. Got there early, used the kiosk and waited a few minutes before I was called to come in. The phlebotomist was nice and professional. He asked if I was feelinmg any discomfort during the process of blood draw. Piece of cake. In and out. As pleasant an experience as you can expect getting your blood drawn. read more

Unreal experience today....girl who drew my blood...1. opened the door with her gloves on 2 not sure she changed her gloves after previous patient 3 got blood pressure machine from another exam room with same gloves on 4 got tape measure from another room...not sure how many times it hits the floor daily again gloves on 5 scale was leaning against wall on floor yup she touched that dirty scale with gloves on to lay it flat on the floor 6 yup then she touched the computer 7 grabbed the tubes for blood out of the drawer with the filthy gloves 8 yup opened the packet of alcohol 9 went to touch me to draw blood....UNREAL.... yup they were yelling at patients who walked in the front door without a mask on....I am going to report this experience to everyone I possibly can!!! No hygiene....filthy! the last girl who drew my blood sent a text message on her filthy phone that she had probably droppEd on the bathroom floor and then used the communal pen to write on the labels for the tubes...just keeps getting better...NOT!!! I was really impressed with Carolina at the front desk while visiting Quest today. She went above and beyond to help and answer all of my questions. She was very patient, and knowledgeable.
