The employee that opened the door was SO RUDE we were here at 6:15 am to get in line They open at 7:00... She showed up one minute to 7:00? The associate said if you don't have an appointment... you can leave We are short staffed and we have over 100 test to do today... No customers one showed up until 7:10 My question is why couldn't we be seen at 7.. since No one showed up on time ? This is insane... Why do you hire people that don't want to work... or be there ? They closed the location with a POST-IT-NOTE! The note said that the AC was broken. The temp outside is low 70's and the office is inside a Walmart which was a nice temp. The only reason for this appointment was that they didn't do all the tests at a previous appointment even after I asked about the lack of a urine test. I was NOT told beforehand about the cancellation. I had to call in and reschedule and that was treated the same as if I just hadn't felt like going that day. read more

Quest online appointment requests do not work! And there's no humans to answer phones. After trying for several days to book an appointment without any luck, we decided to show up in person at this Walmart quest lab location in Allen tx. Upon arrival we entered the insurance information into the kiosk...again no humans available to talk to at this location. Then We sat patiently inside the waiting room, for a Quest employee to open the locked door to her lab area. Once she finally came out into the waiting room, she asked all patients to go home...even though it was one hour before closing. My daughter who's unable to take off work during the week, began crying. The lab technician showed no emotion and simply didn't care about the three patients waiting to be seen. The other two patients began trying to comfort my daughter. I appreciate their kindness. Then the lab technician told us all to leave the waiting room and locked the door behind us. I've had previous bad experiences with Quest Labs, being unable to book an appointment, even though I looked 3 weeks out. I suggest that you ask your doctor to write lab orders for anywhere other than Quest Diagnostic Labs. They truly are unprofessional and their entire appointment system is a complete failure. read more

Quest Diagnostics is a total scam. I ordered and prepaid my lab test thru UltaLab (their contractor) and went to Quest as instructed. The tech refused to scan my prepaid lab bar code and refused to take my invoice number and said this was normal and he would HAVE to create a new order number, but not to worry. He said it might show its more expensive but Quesr billing department will remove extra charges since I already prepaid. His order number was 6x's more expensive! This turned out to be a total fraudulent LIE. I've been dealing with being double billed for this same service for over 2 months now and Quest refuses to honor my prepaid invoice!! I have reported them to the Texas Attorney General's Office and the Federal Trade Commission. I will NEVER use Quest again and HIGHLY recommend that others avoid them like the plague! Opened at 7am. Two walk-ins waiting but staff didn't take either. Staff waited until 7:12 to take the first scheduled appointment. Second staff member didn't show up until 7:16. Waited for 2 hours and not one walk-in was called. Staff seem unmotivated. Signs posted about appointments take priority. Don't go to this location without an appointment! read more

I went to the quest location in Allen Texas off exchange Parkway. I would really love to give a shout out to Enrique who helped get my standing order back, which had expired. It took quite a bit of time, but he stuck in there and made the phone calls. He made sure order was transmitted anything he could to get my blood drawn that day he knew I took a Uber there and I live an hour away in Bonham, Texas and I have to give him the highest rating as his customer service skills were excellent and on top of that there's no bruising where he drew the INR thank you so very much Enrique. read more

NEVER, NEVER again, will I step foot in a Quest lab office again. The way I was treated today was astonishing. It was so bad, that the one other lady in the waiting room began to film the encounter and promised to post it on social media. This took place at the Allen, TX/Exchange St. location inside the Walmart today. Two days prior I made an online appt and received confirmation via text. An hour before my appt., I received a text that upon my arrival, to click on the link to "check-in". I walked in and hit the link and immediately received a text message one minute before my scheduled appt. : "Please enter our service center and have a seat, you will be called soon. No need to check-in again when you get inside." As I sat past my appt time, 2 guests had walked out. Then a man came in and was quickly called inside and left 2 minutes later. I looked at their corner monitor that has a running commercial mentioning to check-in on your mobile device. It listed 0 (zero) people that were waiting. It was then that I knocked on the locked door. A woman came and I explained that I had been there for a confirmed appt. on time, but the monitor doesn't reflect it and I showed my confirmed text messages. She angrily admonished me that Corporate is the one that sends those texts and they don't receive them in the office. According to her they tell everyone to use the in-room keyosk to check-in. How? There is NOT one sign on either door, on the keyosk or anywhere in the waiting room that tells you not to check-in on your mobile device, the opposite of their automated running commercial on the monitor. She stated that I was beyond the 10 minute grace period and would need to leave and reschedule another appt. Mind you I had to fast and it's now noon and my doc appt is in 5 days including the weekend. I informed her that I would not be rescheduling, instead I would be calling my doctor to have them send the orders to LabCorp instead. This woman could care less. I vented to the Walmart store manager. He was also appalled by her behavior. Next step is to contact corporate. read more

Got here an hr early for an 1120 appoint and the kiosk kept saying wireless connection failed. Notify next representative of issue which I did. I was told they will see that there was an error and will call you back. 10 minutes before my actual appointment time after they called back 5 people who walked in. Another representative comes out and argues with me that I was late for my 1120 appointment it was 1110. Then told me to check in again after I explained that o had done so 3 times prior. Then they still proceeded to take 3 other patients including someone whose appointment was at 1200 before finally calling me back to have my lab work done read more

I can only imagine how many people are testing for COVID right now. I mistakenly made my appt for the wrong time, they have a feature that texts you as a reminder to check in 30 min before your appt. I went to the email confirmation and there were instructions on how to modify or cancel the appt. Fortunately, there were options where I could still get into the office today. Upon arrival, I'm checking in at the kiosk, and I'm stumbling through the check in and doing it wrong (running late), the kiosk then offers another set of easier prompts for us slow folks (me) lol. Services like this are inundated with people testing for COVID antibodies and other related services. Yet the woman that took me back was patient and polite, along with the nurse drawing blood. I'm terrified of needles (don't try me though-lol), so I always expect the worse. The process was painless and quick, what a relief! Note: My Dr. doesn't put much merit in the antibody test, he didn't think it'd be useful. Personally, I wanted to do the test, because if it wasn't COVID, did anyone get the license plate of the bus that ran me down and backed up over me, then ran me down again? lol. Whatever I had, was the longest and most intense illness I've ever experienced, losing 10lbs has made my head look planetary - lol. Be well and safe Yelp Fam. There was no one in line ahead of me. An employee came out immediately at told me they don't take walk ins this late in the day? Lol. Worst Quest I've ever been to. The lady lied and said they closed at 12:40 when they close at 1pm. Also claimed her email wasn't working so she couldn't go through with my appointment unless I had it printed out. She also claimed the scanner wouldn't scan the document barcode on my phone, which I know is bullshit. I know for a fact this lady is lazy and just wanted to leave her job early. If you don't wanna work on Saturday work a different job. I don't recommend anyone go to this location. Save yourself some time and go to a different one. read more

Good evening,  This is Nusrat Makda. I want to direct your attention to one of your locations of Quest Diagnostics in Allen, Texas. I went to the Allen location today, December 6th, 2019, to get my blood work. However, I am severely unhappy with the the service and have been left in pain and bruised.  First of all, my lobotomist, Vickie Shanes, was extremely rude and unprofessional. She claims she has had "over 20 years experience" in the field but did not listen to my concerns when I told her that I had previously gotten my blood work done before and that the thicker needle will not work on my arms because my veins are too thin. I am not a healthcare professional so I do not have authority over how the work should be done, however, I am a human being who has authority over my body and I know for a fact that my veins are too thin for the type of needle she was using.  To further my horrid experience into more detail, Vickie continually decided poked me with the wrong needle leaving my arm bruised. Once she realized that she was using the wrong needle, despite my telling her many times that it will not work and that it is causing me pain, she disposed of the needle quite harshly. In my honest opinion, I do not understand her frustration at me over her own mistake. Therefore, I believe that she had no jurisdiction over showing me that much attitude.  Next, she finally decided to use a thinner needle to find a vein in my other (right) arm and left my left one bleeding until I told her to put a band aid on it. Vickie then continued to find a vein in my right arm. I have never in my life had a medical professional show the level of aggressiveness when trying to take my blood.  After Vickie managed to find my vein and get blood, after about 6 bottles, the needle just fell out of my vein leaving my blood to literally bubble up on my arm and bleed out. I was supposed to get 7 bottles of blood taken out however due to my literally bleeding out, Vickie decided to use tiny bottles to divide up the remaining blood from a bigger bottle to a smaller bottle to equal a total of 7 bottles. At this point, I am not even sure if she contaminated my blood or not because I have never had anyone divide up my blood from bottle to bottle. I find that extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in my experience. I did not go in for a major surgery, I went in for blood work and got mistreated. I would appreciate if your take my feedback into concern and potentially find better healthcare professionals. I have also attached photo evidence of the bruising left on my arm due to this disappointing experience.   I feel extremely misused. I am human being and not an object. I would expect someone with "over 20 years experience" to have some patient value. I am not sure if this was an act of racism or simply malpractice. I usually give bad reviews the benefit of the doubt. I shouldn't have. I walked in at 4pm and waited for 15 minutes. The lab tech came out and told me to leave and was so rude. She said they were closed. I said it says they close at 4:30. She again was so rude and said she has stuff to do-to come back. I tried to explain that I'm a teacher and couldn't come any earlier. First time in my life at 76 old, was was denied service and practically thrown out ofa place. I made an appointment for Aug 14, 2:10 and I took screen shot the appointment. When I logged in to kiosk it couldn't find my appointment. I was the only there. Someone came out and let me in then preceded to tell me "for future reference please make an appointment" with an attitude but when I tried to tell her I did indeed and show my screenshot she kept on talking over me to lecture me on importance of making an appointment. This went on until I was really frustrated and that she wouldn't take me seriously enough to even glance at my screenshot. On top of that she called on someone else to continue chastising me for not making an appointment. Then I Really lost my cool and raised my voice to be heard andI was in tears. She wouldn't give me a phone number or name of her manager so I can complain and said she had a right not to serve me. I went to another one and on McDermott in Allen TX, after I explained what had happened she calmed me down and took my blood. She also gave me a number to call which I did. They said some would call me. They called once and left me a VM and said she would call back but never did, I'm still waiting. Today is Aug 25! read more

Don't use the disc when it asks. Just put in you'll wait in the room. Bc I got it at 11:45am and waited outside red lights on the disc #5. Then at 12pm the lights all went away.... just went dead. I was right outside the room too. So I got up went to the room - all new faces. Decided to sign in to the room at 12:02 pm and now it's 12:40pm and I'm next..... make sure you look at the names on the TV- I didn't even know until someone pointed it out. The lady coming out calling ppl- 2 didn't show up so probably had the disc ? And another lady in the room had a disc in hand and had Been waiting for a long time and I told her- to sign in. Bc then she looked up and her name wasn't even on the waiting list showing up on the TV. So then it showed her name - wait 45 min ( but don't fear it'll be next in line within 15 min). I told the lady (med tech) abt it (to put a sign up there and let ppl know)but she says there's no proof that it doesn't work. The lady works fast, efficient. So this review is a heads up for y'all. read more

Tried to call ahead and just get a long menu of voice prompts that give useless information then hangs up. Messages were conflicting if they were open or not. Arrived there only to be told we needed an appointment. There was no mention of this from our doctors office or their phone system with other useless information. Poor service. Honestly the best blood draw I've ever had. I have really hard to find veines and usually have to be poked upwards of 5 times before the vein is found. Raven was amazing, she found my vein first try and got every vial from it. She was also super nice and very friendly! read more

This place is horrible. I had a 1pm appointment and got there 10 minutes early. At 1:05, the overhead queue display said I was next. They took a walk in ahead of me that had gotten there before me. At 1:14, they came out and took in a walk in that had actually gotten there AFTER me. I asked and the very rude nurse said, "you're next". I am profoundly unhappy with their service. Out of busy schedule, I made an appointment at 0930am for drug screening via phone but they didn't took my sample. They told me that it is too early to have drug screening but the appointment via phone let me make schedule at 0930. I also told them that I will wait until 10am but they said next appointment should be made as it expires within 10min of appointment. Sadly, I returned back. I wish there was an option for minus star. The most horrible experience one could ever have. The lab technician (Shay? Not sure if that was her real name) was rude and almost hostile upon our arrival. If you have had a bad day, keep it to yourself, please, and be professional. My daughter who has many medical issues was always afraid of needles. She is skinny and was a little dehydrated, which made the blood draw a bit more challenging. I asked Shay if it would be better that we should come back on a different day. She ignored my questions and proceeded with the procedure. However, she not only didn't even try to help my daughter to relax, but jiggled the needle constantly without explaining the necessity and made my daughter cry (silently) from the pain that caused the whole 30-minute time, showing no compassion or empathy for a girl in distress. It was a horrible horrible experience. We will never go back there and I hope no one would! read more
