4 stars for service, 3 stars for food On the way to Arches National Park, my friend and I decided to make a stop in Moab for lunch. I let my fellow Yelpers guide my way through the streets searching for restaurants with the highest reviews. I stumbled upon this cute this's food truck and decided to stop here for a quesadilla. I ordered the most popular item on the menu: the New Mexico Identity Crisis. I was excited for my food, but had to wait almost 15 minutes for my name to be called. I understand that it was busy, but my stomach wasn't so considerate. I took my first bite of the quesadilla and thought the flavor was just okay. First and foremost, I'm from San Diego where Mexican food is plenty. So we are really critical when it comes to Mexican food and in my honest opinion this place have better quesadilla than some Mexican food places I have tried in SD. This place doesn't just have good food but they also have awesome customer service which makes it a 10/10 for me. Their portion is super big too, so if you are not a heavy eater share one quesadilla between two people. read more

My husband almost ended up getting into a physical confrontation with somebody here because this business cannot control their line. We were trying to keep a 6 ft distance from the people in front of because they weren't wearing masks and so others interpreted that 6 ft gap as they could just cut in front of us. When I asked the people that were cutting us to please give us a 6 ft distance is when they said we had cut them, when we were simply trying to keep a 6 ft distance in front of us and behind us. This almost ended up in a fight with the guy behind us starting to say "let's deal with it right now then"... I'm a registered nurse and this is totally ridiculous. If you wonder why Utah has had a spike in covid-19 cases it's because of places like this pretending their following social distancing measures and not actually implementing them. I asked the workers why they weren't implementing social distancing and they said that the state isn't enforcing it. That doesn't mean that as a business you can't kindly ask people in line to keep 6 ft apart. They even had signs up telling people to maintain social distance but again not caring if it actually happens. Essentially they said it's NOT THEIR PROBLEM. It's irresponsible on behalf of the business. I guess just keep on creating more patients to send to my ICU and keep the healthcare system overburdened... thanks. read more

Clearly the most popular food truck in Moab for a reason-- generously sized, delicious quesadillas. Make no mistake-- they are distinctly Americanized here-- but they're still tasty. The water misters make hot summers bearable, too. Well worth a visit. Not quite sure they're worth the crazy lines at peak hours, but that merely confirms the fact that this place is a key part of the food scene in Moab. read more

I really, really, really wanted to love this as much as everyone else did. Truck looks great. Food looks great. People are friendly. Line is aggressively long because it's popular, but I certainly don't hold that against them. We had the enchanted chicken and the sweet and spicy. Both were good!! Tons of fillings, lots of cheese, generally yummy. But there wasn't anything great or special about either, though. The guac was a particular miss, and even though we ordered both quesadillas as "spicy," they were very mild. Part of it may be that we thought the taco truck about 50 feet away (Tacos El Gordo) was really special. If we hadn't done a head-to-head comparison, we might have been almost as fired up as most of the other reviewers. Again, this is not a bad place by any stretch of the imagination, and we could easily have just hit them on an off day. read more

Have to agree with most of the reviews. In general, $9 for a massive tasty quesadilla is highly appreciated. But find it so odd that the vegan quesadilla is qualified by it not being recommended on their menu. Also find it weird this food truck doesn't offer vegan cheese with its vegan quesadilla. Would think an establishment should recommend everything on its menu, and work hard to ensure each item is phenomenal, especially if it's catering to dietary restrictions. The guac is small and good, but nothing extra ordinary and the salsa that comes with the dish falls in the same category. Lastly, normally sour cream and salsa is given complimentary with each quesadilla, however as a vegan we only got one salsa and no substitute for the sour cream. Any additional salsa is 50 cents. Anyways, it was a solid hearty quesadilla, however from a vegan's perspective, I'm not sure if I would be back. read more

Pros and Cons to this place. It was recommended by a local, so I was excited to try it out. Cons: the chips and guac are bagged chips with a small side of guac. Kind of a rip off for what you pay for it. The side of sour cream is a tube of it and not enough for the entire quesadilla. The prices seemed also high for the product. Pros: The quesadilla is a good size. The menu says you get four hours pieces and in reality you only get three, but it did leave me full. The salsa has great flavor. read more

A very popular place in Moab! You can smell the quesadillas as you're walking down the street along the shoppes. The smell definitely lured us in! It's a great place if you don't want to go to a sit down after a long hike you're starving and just want good "cheap" food, quick! Most quesadillas are $9 and they're big and thick. Definitely enough for two smaller people to share. A guy might eat a whole one. Lots of choices, even a vegan & vegetarian option! I'm dairy intolerant so I got one of them with no cheese and they subbed it for refried beans and it held together pretty well! I would definitely recommend! We went on a summer day so the weather was nice to sit outside, but that's all they have (only about 7 tables) so if it's too busy, or cold it would be better to get it to go. Wow for being a food truck. Simple menu but amazing ingredients. Outdoor seating with misters and it was nice considering it was close to 100 degrees out. We had the just cheese and my kids comment was that's a ton of cheese. They go heavy on the cheese. No complaints here. Then we are had the New Mexico Identity Crisis. I wasn't sure about the added olives but it was really good. The artichoke hearts were perfect. And nicely cooked meat too, generous portion of meat. We split a Dirtbag with added chicken and thoroughly enjoyed it! The cheese super melts/gooey in just the right way and the salsa verde complimented the quesadilla well. I totally expect we will return here before we depart Moab! read more

Que so here is the dilla with the Mobilla. My eyes were quickly drawn to the barrage of bright colors that pulled my body in like a mosquito to a bug zapper. The menu is peppered with an array of clever worded and very tasty creations of pure melted, mouthwatering deliciousness. I ordered the Dirt Bag with shredded chicken. It is refried beans, a healthy heaping portion of the finest cheese and chicken that was blessed by the saints of Moab themselves. Kudos to you guys for creating a seriously great creation that pairs very well with cool sour cream that really brings all the flavors together to make a crispy creation that is on every quesadilla lovers list. I tried the others that my friends ordered to see if the consistency was as good as it claimed to be. I tried bites of the Enchanted Chicken and the Fiery Fungus, both of them were crispy delectable creations that erected every taste bud on my tongue and engorged them with a pounding trip to flavortown. It was good, not a 5 star, like it didn't change the very existence I live in good but who can really deny a tastebud trip that fills you up and never lets you down. I'm not a big fan of olives so I substituted olives for mushrooms and it was perfect. Loved the portion size - they really pack in all the veggies and meat. It is one of the best best food trucks I ever eaten at. They make quesadillas and that's it. So they're really good at it. I ordered the Enchanted Chicken, which is made with lovingly braised and shredded chicken cooked in New Mexico green chili, corn, onions, and red bell peppers. Add a slathering of refried beans, some melted cheddar and jack cheese inside a large tortilla. It was a nice large portion and I was fully stuffed. The quesadilla is $8.99, which is a tad higher than the listed price on their website (should be updated, guys!!!). They also sell Blue Sky soda, which is different and something I hadn't seen before. They have tables and chairs available under a large shady tree. Simply amazing. We came here after a day of hiking the Canyonlands, around 4:30. There wasn't much open on Main Street, food wise at this point (most places close between 2/3pm- 5pm, unfortunately). The quesadilla is amazing, the flavors they put together are sublime, but what really elevates it, are the sauces. We opted for the southern belle (red chile beef, roasted sweet potatoes, corn, & onions), and loved it! As for the sauces, we opted for mild salsa (so good, tastes really fresh and sharp!), guacamole (of course), and the jalapeño lime sour cream (get this!). Together, all these flavors are perfection! Grab a seat outside on the cool outdoor area (thankfully, covered by an awning!) after a hike, a ride, or a particular long afternoon, and enjoy! Great place for a quick lunch pit-stop before heading to Arches (which is only a 7min drive away!). Ordered the Southern Belle and the Enchanted Chicken quesadillas. They were delicious monstrocities--probably the best quesadillas I've ever had. I was very impressed with how perfectly crispy they managed to get the tortillas given they were packed with so many ingredients, because sometimes quesadillas become limp as you eat them because the water/steam from the stuffing softens the tortilla...but not here! And the salsas? AMAZING! They had the perfect amount of heat that paired really nicely with the quesadilla.
