Took three friends there, my treat, as I've always had such great experiences with Tony. I'd made an appointment for us all--Saturday at 1:15, and the shop was busy, but I was told they could accommodate us all. After two hours, in which my friends and I were shuffled between several different techs, I was so embarrassed by the blatant disregard to what type/colour/design my guests wanted, as well as the over-all shoddy service, I just wanted out! I'd BRAGGED about this place all day, and then to have everyone dissatisfied and frustrated with what SHOULD have been a relaxing day was beyond irritating. Because the shop WAS busy, I asked that the manager come speak with me in the waxing area, away from the other customers. Why did I go back again? (Because I thought we could get 3 pedicures at the same time) There are a couple of ladies that work here that are genuinely pleasant but the majority and all of the men that I have had have been downright rude and creepy (men).. I recently went in for a pedicure. When handed the"menu" I decided on a standard pedicure, After trying to UpSell me TWICE the male tech never spoke to me again, never asked me if I wanted anything to drink (although all around me were) and didn't use the color I chose. He was very passive aggressive. Never thanked me. Nothing. No eye contact. No verbal interaction. He just slapped my feet when he needed me to change. I was steaming! and I was paying for two others services as well. You would think that if he wanted more than the standard 15% he would have tried to be pleasant. and yes, I did tip 15%. If my experience had been even a bit nice I could have tipped more. Over $100 + 15% tip and I am not feeling the love. I Wont Be Back. Don't bother making appointments. In the past year, 2 appointments have been messed up and an additional one, they had no record of. This last time I told the nail technician I had made an appointment to have a manicure at the same time as my pedicure and asked did they forget. . This was about 15 min into the pedicure. She shrugged and did nothing to find out. The foot massage was rough and lasted only half the time that it states in the description of the pedicure. I guess she didn't realize I had the timer on my phone set. After my foot massage, the receptionists came to me to take me to have my manicure. I told her the problem and said no thank you. I will NEVER visit here again. First impressions are everything and this was an epic fail on their part. I had a pedicure and manicure done. The manicurist was very nice but the lady who did my pedicure had a look on her face like she was disgusted the entire time. Loved this place. It has a nice welcoming ambience. We were immediately welcomed and seated for our pedicures as we had tried 3 other salons that had 1 or 2 techs working and had no space for us. When chose our pedicures and they brought out trays specific to what we chose. They have massaging chairs and TVs available for every position. The nail techs were great and spent a great amount of time on what we wanted. My polish and gems are still in tact after about 2 weeks. read more

Just moved to the Pantego area and tried for the first time. Best pedicure I have ever had. Most relaxing leg and foot massage. I could have easily fell asleep and I wasn't even using the massage chair. Little bit of a higher price then what I was paying but well worth it. I have come to Queens many times and they are always so friendly! However, on a majority of visits I am unhappy with the quality of the pedicure painting. It seems rushed and the entire nail is not covered (corners, to cuticle), just the center. After leaving disappointed the first time, I have reluctantly asked the painting to be fixed all other times. I feel bad and feel he is annoyed I am being so picky; but the classic pedicure is $27, so I expect equivalent quality. read more

Very disappointed the nail person talked me into doing a more expensive service the dipping nails I have great nails that grow long on there own and have been using the gel shellac that stays on for over three weeks . The dipping takes longer and doesn't look as nice didn't cover my nails and cost more really disappointed and when I expressed my disappointment was basically shoved out the door. have been a customer for over 10 years, but was recently charged twice for the same date of service. i went to get it corrected but was told by Jenny that there was nothing they could do for me. I explained the second charge was an unauthroized charge and was shown two sales slips one signed by my daughter but the other was a signature of someone we do not know. jenny refused to correct their error. i will NO LONGER USE THIS BUSINESS and will tell everyone I know. I'm torn about my review. I had a wonderful pedicure from one of the girls. It was absolutely wonderful. But then I was given to another nail tech for Gel Powder manicure. I could tell right away that the man didn't know what he was doing. But I didn't speak up. He dipped all my nails several times and seemed to be doing okay. Then he started removing the powder with the electric buffer which is really painful bc of the heat and how it thins the nail. I asked him what he was doing. He said he was redoing the nails. I thought maybe he messed up one and was going to redo it. But then he started removing the powder on several fingers and I asked again what are you doing, why are you removing them? He said something in broken English that I couldn't understand. So I asked the nail lady next to him. She explained that he did it wrong and had to remove all the powder and redo the whole thing. He was already 30 mins into the process! And now he wanted to burn up my fingers by using the electric buffer on all of them? No way. I asked if they could use acetone and foil which is what my usual nail salon does. He said no. He kept trying to use the electric buffer. I asked the lady again and I said no I don't want the electric buffer because it's painful, it's burning my fingernails. So the man stood up and said something in his language and stormed off. Several ladies came by and tried to talk me into getting my nails redone. But by this time I said no I want this awful powder job removed and I'm leaving. So they soaked my nails in acetone and the powder easily wiped off. Why didn't he just do that in the first place? But my main complaint is this: DONT PUT SOMEONE IN THE CHAIR TO DO GEL POWDER IF THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO DO IT. My nails are so thinned out now they hurt and I have to wait at least a week before I can go to my usual nail salon and have them done correctly. read more

Regarding solar nails, Tony is the best! I use to go down the street and my nails lasted a week. This last set that I had done has lasted 23 days and still going!!! Amazing. Sometimes only two weeks but Tony does a great job. read more

I am posting this review after my second and last experience with Queen's nails. I went in for a toe nail polish change and was treated very rudely from start to finish. The nail tech did an extremely poor job painting my toe nails, and it appears that they do not have any topcoat on them. After she finished she grabbed my purse, started walking out and said we need $8 before she even let me sit under the nail dryer. I just left this spa very angry and dissatisfied. DO NOT GO HERE! My pedicure was nice and relaxing until the other nail tech came over to clean off the nail polish on my nails for my manicure. They had me pull both arms all the way over to the right arm rest and soak my hands in the water. After about 15 minutes of this my left arm was aching because I had to stretch it so far for so long. I finally moved the bowl to my lap and told them my arm was hurting - they didn't offer any apologies. When it was time for my shellac manicure they moved me from the relaxing pedicure chair to the manicure area. I sat waiting for a while. Finally the nail tech showed up and I asked him to fix my big toe because when I got in the light I could see that it was horrible. He fixed it without any qualms. After he got my nails ready for the shellac, he started the process. Base coat, dryer, 1st coat of polish, dryer, 2nd coat, dryer, then he pulled out my nails and the thumbs looked horrible. The polish wasn't thick enough so he applied another coat and then placed under the dryer. He then goes over to the pedicure area and starts giving a woman a pedicure. Ummmm what about me??? When he finally comes back, he looks at my thumbs, and they still weren't right, so another coat, then dryer, then he ran back over to the lady's pedicure... I DID NOT COME TO THE NAIL SPA TODAY TO SPEND MY ENTIRE DAY ON MY NAILS. They acted like I had all this free time - no one asked me if I was on a time crunch. When he came back again, he looked at them as did I and they looked ok until he sprayed them and wiped them.... some of the gel had come off! So he applied another coat.... RIDICULOUS!!! He put my hands in the dryer again and ran over to his other customer. By this time I was furious. It had been over an hour ON MY FINGER NAILS - it is only supposed to take about 30 minutes!! He finally comes back over and looks at them, sprays them, wipes them, and of course some of the gel came off. I said I don't have any more time. I have to go. He got up and went over to his other customer. HE DIDN'T EVEN PUT LOTION ON MY INSANELY DRY HANDS. WHAT THE HECK?! So I'm thinking there's no way they will charge me for this crap, but guess what?! They rang up my total and it was the full price of the pedi and mani! I said why am I paying for something that isn't good? I had to speak to 3 different people to explain why I didn't feel like I should pay for the mani. After them arguing with me, they said we'll give you 30% off and next time you come back we'll fix it for you. I said no. I am not happy. I don't understand why I'm paying for this. I finally decided I didn't want to deal with these people anymore and agreed to pay half - $15 of the $30, and I thought when I come back (IF I come back) they will fix my nails for free. So I ask them about coming back and they said I will have to pay the other $15 that I didn't pay today for them to fix my nails.... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!?! I am NEVER going back to this place again. Horrible service. I am a frequent nail spa goer and I have never had such horrid service. I am in shock. Do not waste your time or money here. I highly reccomend European Nail Spa off South Matlock. They are amazing there. They cater to you and you will always leave with beautiful nails and feeling relaxed. I should have went there today, but chose Queens because they were closer to me, but after leaving infuriated and 0% satisfied, I have definitely learned my lesson. this place had the worst service ever! i left my house at 3:20 and got home at 5:25. it all started when my friend and i decided to go get are nails done because they were looking a little rusty. (just to give you an idea it only took us 5 minutes to get there and 10 minutes back.) we got there and the lady asked us what we wanted. my friend decided to do gel and i decided to get dipped. (i do take responsibility for not asking them how long it would take in the beginning. one of the reasons i gave this place a 2.) anyways we sat down in the waiting chairs. we sat there for only 10 minutes. then the lady put me and my friend in chairs to were you get your nails done. we sat there for like 30 minutes. we started getting suspecious of why it was taking awhile but the shortly after they moved us to different chairs so we thought that they were going start doing are nails soon but NNNNOOOO. we waited there for like 20 minutes and then a lady came by to soak my nails in acetone sense i already had dipped on my nails (my friend did not). then we started to get suspecious again so we asked the lady working there and she said we were probably going to start in like the next 5 minutes or so. so we got hopeful. we ended up sitting there for like 15 minutes more. i started getting worried that my hands were in the bowl of acetone for too long of a time so i was taking my hands out frequently because i was scared for my nails health. we were getting more and more unpatient so we asked another lady and she said 10 minutes. so we got hopeful again, but that ended up being like another 25 minutes. in the end the nails turned out good and my friend and i just visited for a longer time which we were fine with and as well we were just a walk in. BUT still this was not ok for us to wait this long. if i ever return i am definitely getting a reservation in advance because that was uncalled for. i hope this was helpful for whoever read this big paragraph. read more
