I'm SO beyond sorry that I ACCIDENTALLY knocked off the circle cover in the pedi chair! However, when I pointed out my mistake to the lady, she got pissy with me. She loudly said "I. KNOW." and then began the usual talking about customers. I know they were talking about me as they would both look up at me and giggle. I apologized quickly and then I shut up. She would push - PUSH - my feet off in to the tub I stead of being an adult and using her words (like we expect toddlers to do). Foot in water or please put your foot back in or even OFF. But to push my foot. Rude much? Wow. This place has never been very friendly but today took the top prize for rudeness. Done and done. They won't worry about anything I say, they truly don't care, but the overpriced pedis aren't worth it. Especially when you add a side of rude and petty. Brought in a 10 year old and they charged me adult price. Acted like they couldn't understand me. The person that waited on me was very rude. Walked away without a word. I told other lady that I would give her a tip if she came to get it. She yanked it out of my hand and said, "I give it to her". There was no thank you or acknowledgment at all. I love going to QUEENS! They are friendly and most of their staff fo a great job with manicures/pedicures. I go in often. Sometimes with an appointment and sometimes as a walk in. I get my eyebrows waxed there as well. Today I went in for a manicure and Lily was great! She wrapped my hands in wax and my arms in warm towels while she gave me a massage. It was the first time I got that service and I will definitely be doing it again. Jackie is always friendly as are most of the gals (there are also a few gentlemen but I usually get a lady). They have HGTV on the TVs, they have appropriate music, and they'll serve wine, water or soda. They are clean and have shields for the manicurist. read more

I have been coming to queens since 2013 but after today will not be returning. I came in for a gel french manicure which is what I get 90% of the time with no issue. Today, my manicurist was rough and not thorough. After my manicure, I walked out to my car and could see hardened polish on the tips of 4 of my fingers. I came back in and she cut it off. After returning to my car a second time, I take a closer look which is what you see in the pictures. My cuticles look horrible and were caked in white polish. One nail had a hang nail (actually hardened gel breaking off). Most of the white lines were uneven and on two nails, the white polish was smeared where it should have been clear. I walked in and apologized myself for the inconvenience requesting a refund. The manager came over to look at my nails and said they they were "fine". I showed her the pictures that I had taken out in the sunlight and she insisted that she saw no issue. She stated that I could sit to have them redone. I did not have time and again asked for a refund. The manager offered 20 percent off of my next visit. I insisted on a refund as this manicure was not up to any standard. The manager stated that if I wanted a refund, I would have to get the polish removed. I agreed. The same lady that did my nails (I forgot to ask her name) came to remove the polish. She was very rough and filed my skin. In the end, I was left with very rough nails that still had gel polish left in places. This was a very poor experience and I do not recommend this nail salon. read more

Sadly, as close as this is to my home, I have to rate them with a 2 star. I have gone many times here and had a great lady do my nails multiple times. Unfortunately she is no longer there and the last 2 time I have gone, the nails have turned out incredibly off from what I asked for. Today for example I showed a picture of some nails explaining I would like relatively the same length and shape. They turned out way shorter than the picture and nowhere close to the same shape. I will not be returning. I am all for second chances hence why I tried once again today. I love their pedicures so I usually go in to have it done. The polish on the toes last very long and don't chip even after weeks of wearing it. I would give their Pedicure services a 5 star! I read a few reviews that stated that their acrylic services aren't the best at times, but I needed them done at the time so I decided why not give it a try. I got a full SNS set done and they started lifting after a week. Their prices are a bit high compared to other places so after spending $55-$60 (for the SNS service.. I had the nail extensions added and was charged extra for shaping etc.) to have them lift only after ONE WEEK is a HUGE LOSS! I will return for just the pedicures. AWFUL experience!! I have worn a dip manicure for the last 8 months straight AT LEAST and every set has lasted me MINIMUM 2 weeks. My regular salon was closed the day I broke a nail and so I stopped in here. The lady rushed during removal of my old set and left my hands and nails feeling dry and brittle. She quickly applied 2 coats of the dip powder and then squeezed each of my nails to "set the powder" (never seen this done) and painted over them with a clear polish. Within 48 hours 3 of my nails had cracked and 2 were broken. I called and asked for a manager and was told there was no one available but the lady on the phone asked how she could help. I told her what happened and she asked if i just wanted those nails fixed. She sounded confused. I said i just would really appreciate my money back because i was entirely unimpressed. She said that was fine. Took my information. And said there would be a note for me to pick up my refund the next day. FOUR HOURS LATER The same lady calls back and tells me due to policy i had to call back within 3 days to get a refund but they could replace the set. I explained i had called within 40 hours and that they had already said i could have my refund and that was what i would like. She asked me "like why are you being so hard on us?! Why dont you want a free one??" I told her i was done with it all at this point and very unhappy. She told me to hold on and spoke to someone in another language. She came back to the phone and said that because they had already used their product on me they would only refund half of my money and asked if that was okay. I said no. It is not my fault that THEIR employee handled the product incorrectly. The lady paused and said very rudely "well we are just going to give you your money back and be done with you" This is horrible. I will NEVER return! read more

On the skin, cuticles, etc. I received a gel manicure and by the next week all my nails were peeling and coming off. I went to get them fixed and they turned out worse. I've always had the worst service here; always leaving this place and asking myself why i come back. My mom asked me to meet her to get our nails done and i agreed to this place so that's the only reason i went back this previous time. I always get the dipped powder nails (and have for the past 10 months straight)... went back today since my nail broke after the 4th day of this new set. Had absolutely no help matching the color.. the colors don't even match the samples to the actual powder (what actually goes on the nail) after 30 min of me waiting for one nail to be fixed..... everything was going good until i asked why the color didn't match.... proceeded to try a new color but has an attitude the whole time "oh my god *rolls her eyes*" talking to her manager in chinese. besides the point; it was the worst service. I called to speak to the manager once i left and the young lady is stuck in the middle because her manager is telling her to tell me she isn't at the salon anymore when i was just there. wrong color, wrong shape, and made me bleed. read more

You feel like you've entered a posh department store salon rather than a hole in the wall nail salon so don't let the exterior fool you. I went with a regular pedicure, manicure and a flower on my toes. 60 bucks. My hands were a mess and my cuticles were really ragged and nasty. Really. I haven't done my nails for like three months and that's just my own hack job. A real manicure? not for a year. Gwin was patient, did a great job on my hands and my feet were awesome looking. They carry all OPI nail polish. They offer you wine or soda while you're sitting in the chair so I had two glasses of blush wine along with getting my nails done. Its really cleverly decorated and they even have a crib hidden in an alcove with a few massage chairs so a busy mom could hypothetically deposit a child for a nap and get her own relaxation. There's flat screen tvs showing HGTV. Very professional. When I stupidly smudged my flowers on my big toes on the way home I was devastated. I went in the next day and Gwin said Oh no! What happened to our flowers!? and fixed them immediately for me free of charge. My manicure lasted six days and I'm very hard on my hands. My pedicure is two weeks old and still looks great. Toe flowers werent' the greatest but eh..still cute. Mostly this place is just too pricey for my blood. You can get the same quality work elsewhere for less. You're paying for ambiance here and maybe that's important to some folks. For the difference in price I could get my own bottle of wine to drink at home. read more

What a horrible experience. I chose to go here because years ago this was the best nail salon in the area. We went here for prom and every other fancy event in high school. Maybe I was clueless but it seems Queen's has gone downhill. I went to get my nails dipped (the new healthy replacement for gel nails). I am still new to this process and don't have much experience so I was pretty clueless besides one other time. I was sat down in a chair and waited 10 minutes before a man sat down and just began to use the electric buffer on my nails right away.He did not ask what service I wanted or offer me a drink. I immediately asked if this was normal for dipped nails. He stopped and grabbed a bowl of acetone and submerged my fingers in that. I didn't say anything not knowing the process. He kept my fingers in there for 10 minutes and came back with colors to choose from. I complained the acetone was drying my fingers out and he didn't seem to care. He continued to go between dipping my fingers in acetone and using the electronic buffer. When it was time to pay I tried to explain to the front desk my problem and was not acknowledged. I left with dried out skin on my fingers and uneven nails. I will not be going back. read more

Normally the staff is good but the last two times might be my last. Last month the lady didn't have on a Queen's tshirt and I'm guessing she was new. Very subpar job but I dismissed it as a busy Saturday. Today, weekday, was a guy that very obviously didn't want to be doing what he was doing! I have gone here a few times and I'm usually pleased. Lin is a newer girl that's very personable and funny and does an awesome job. I went today and they were short staffed so I had a bit of a wait but I didn't mind. They sat me with Jenna, who was nice at first but after the usual "how are you?" there was no more conversation. I was getting a full set and the whole time she's laughing and conversing with her coworker next to her. When it comes time to shape my nails, she begins filing. A few minutes later, I ask "can you make them round?" She replies, "well you should have told me earlier." After that, I could tell she was snickering about me to the woman next to her. She then started manhandling my hands, pulling them and pushing them away very aggressively. As she was buffing my nails for the final time, she cuts my cuticle and it's bleeding profusely. She does nothing and paints over it. After she finishes, she says "go over there" and I say "where?" And she says "there" and points to a table for them to dry. That was my breaking point. I went to the woman at the front desk and asked for my manicurist name and she said "Oh it's Jenna." I told her I have never complained to a manager before but I felt that she was extremely rude and rushing me out, along with making my finger bleed and shoving my hands around. She just said "oh, well sorry ma'am" and still took my full payment. Needless to say, I did not tip. If you're going to go here, ask for Lin! Favorite nail salon I've ever been to! It's clean, comfortable, and cheap enough that I can fit it in my budget on a bi-weekly basis. My mom, sister and I visit Queen's on a regular basis.
