The hostess was able to find us a table in the front section, which I appreciated. The front area has a more traditional restaurant feel with dim lighting and music at a reasonable level. You can also see the open kitchen between both sections, which was a nice touch. Service was great and our server gave helpful recommendations. We ordered two margaritas, one smoky and spicy and one mango. Both were good but very different. The smoky one stood out, while the mango leaned more on the sweeter side. For food, the crispy salmon sushi was a highlight. Very fresh and the salmon melted in your mouth. For mains, we had the Tokyo chicken and the steak and sushi. The steak and sushi portion was very large and easily enough for leftovers. The steak itself was cooked well, but I didn't love the sauce it came with and would ask for it on the side next time. Great food at surprisingly reasonable prices for such a prime location. The interior feels very luxurious as well and would be perfect for a date or birthday dinner. I do recommend the platters (OG Platter pictured) as the value is quite good and is a nice display. Some of the appetizers were quite good for our large group as well (truffle fries, dip). I will say most of the food was on the saltier side - especially the calamari and Mac and cheese that was part of the platter. Since we were splitting everything it was okay, but the service was also quite slow and we were desperate for water for a lot of the meal. Not a huge deal but we did expect more attentive service. Queens Harbour is definitely a vibe. The space is massive, beautifully designed, and always buzzing with energy. The menu is extensive and clearly designed to appeal to a wide range of tastes--which is likely a big part of its popularity. Between the variety, the ambiance, and the overall customer service, it delivers a strong experience. That said, if you're particular about food execution, you might find the dishes more "good" than truly memorable. I've been twice and tried four different items, and I'm still searching for the standout dish. The cocktail menu--both alcoholic and zero-proof--is impressive, though it leans on the sweeter side. I've been hearing so much buzz about Queens Harbour that we finally had to check it out and it did not disappoint. We were especially excited to try the Queens Garden, which is separate from the main dining room. The view from the second floor? Absolutely beautiful. It instantly set the mood for the night. Esteban (the AGM) personally walked us to our table, and Jackson took great care of us all evening. I asked Esteban for his starter recommendation, while my girlfriend went with the Mediterranean dip. For mains, we ordered the Chimichurri Sea Bass and the Black Tiger Fettuccine; both were absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. What really stood out was the service. Esteban and Jackson checked in on us throughout the night, which made the whole experience feel warm and personal. I've honestly never seen an Assistant General Manager so hands-on and we loved it. Jackson was courteous, friendly, and always serving with a genuine smile. Easy 5/5 for us. This place is huge! Multi level seating, patio, bar, private. I have sat at Queens Harbour and went to the White Garden as well(here till end of Jan 2026). Both areas have lovely ambiance, it was fairly busy each time I went, so expect to bump into people. Everyone is trying to take photos at the white garden. It can get a little loud but overall I very much enjoyed visiting both times. The food: we tried the calamari and it was probably tastiest I have had. It was fresh, I really enjoyed it. The steak and fries, the green pesto it was paired with was delicious. The pasta was good too. The portions are large so you are definitely getting your moneys worth. I also tried the steak and sushi and I have to say this was my favourite. The sauce on the steak is very tasty, stew was also cooked well to my liking. They have a variety of mocktails as well which we throughly enjoyed. The service: sometimes the staff is very busy, so you either have to find them or wait till they make their rounds. They are very informed on the menu. Also, keep an eye out on the receipt, our table was charged gratuity without our knowledge, so everyone paid double. Manger did correct as it wasn't suppose to be included for a group our size. I've been hearing so much about this place and had the pleasure of going for my friends birthday. It was great from when we arrived the staff were attentive and very nice. Our waiter checked on us a couple times throughout our time and was very quick with requests. The overall ambiance was very nice the vibe is very chic and classy. The food was good I usually opt for sushi when I go out as it's filling yet light and when I say this sushi was filling it came with 8 pieces per roll and it was so fresh the pasta was very flavourful the portion size was decent and could possibly be shared. There is parking garage across street. Very limited paid street parking by the Toronto police station. Service 3/5 Drinks were slow to be delivered after order (20min wait at times). Food service was very slow despite the dedicated staff for party room and what seems to be a fully staffed shift. It took an hour for food to arrive in between courses. Food 3.5/5 Tasted alright, nothing too exciting, the salmon was great actually and the steak could've been cooked a bit better as it was on rarer side versus medium rare. Love Queens Harbour so much I've been back twice within two months and already planning my third visit here! They have two main dining areas, a queens harbour and the queens garden. They also have private dining rooms upstairs. They're currently having a holiday themed decor in their Queens Garden section and it's absolutely beautiful with all the hanging christmas trees. For their holiday drinks: - The White Passion (non alcoholic), but added a shot of gin on the side. This was a solid 5/5 for me. Absolutely delicious with tropical and bright flavours. - Ferraro Rocher Espresso Martini 4/5. A tad bit too sweet for me but also very delicious on a twist of the classic espresso martini. Our server was amazing during our stay here for the holiday season. Now onto their main dining room and food, from when I visited them the first time. I sat on their patio during the warmer season and it was such a treat - beautiful, clean, and such a vibe! We then moved into the main dining room for dinner. Here's what we had on their regular menu: Fig & Herb Sour 5/5 - Love anything with a delicious egg white top and this was just that! It was tart, jammy, and aromatic. Truffle Umami Fries 5/5 - Fried to perfection. Black garlic aioli was delicious. Topped with parm. Hamachi Crudo 5/5 - Amazing starter. Refreshing, fresh, and delicious. Oysters 5/5 Kalamari 4/5 - A classic that as great for sharing. Could've been a tad more crispy though. Harbour Salad 5/5 - Perfectly paired salad items of kale, spinach, muscat grapes, pickled onion, pistachio, pomegranate, cheese, and balsamic. The flavours blend seamlessly and so great for sharing! Chimichurri Sea Bass 4/5 - Grilled whole and butterflied. Thought this was good, the chimichurri was a bit too intense for my palette though. Queens Crispy Sushi 5/5 - Crispy rice topped with tuna tartar. Absolute YES! King's Ribeye 4/5 - 14oz. ribeye that came with broccolini and mashed potatoes. Delicious, cooked perfectly. Spicy Rigatoni Alla Vodka 4/5 Matcha Creme Brulee 5/5 Tirami-stachio 5/5 - A pistachio tiramisu. A good change from the traditional espresso ones! Overall, I love this place so much! Food is great and consistent. Service is good. Ambiance is what gets me here, I love that they have a patio in the warmer seasons, their main dining hall and their garden section that is so beautifully lit by the natural lighting during the day. Queen's Harbour has been everywhere since it opened, and after visiting, I'd say one thing upfront: don't go without a reservation. Hopefully this gets easier once the initial hype dies down, but for now it feels pretty necessary. The interior really is as stunning as all the influencer content suggests. The ceilings are soaring, tables are nicely spaced out, and there's a good mix of table sizes that makes the space feel polished and intentional. I didn't get a chance to check out the back, but one odd design choice stood out. The bathrooms are located right by the kitchen line, so getting there means weaving through a constant flow of servers picking up and running food. Not ideal. The vibe is high energy and on the louder side, though still manageable for conversation. Service was attentive and polite throughout. At one point, the manager stopped by to acknowledge the tree nut allergy at our table and assured us it was being taken very seriously. It may have been a bit over the top, but honestly, we appreciated the emphasis and care. We ordered the black truffle arancini, tuna stack, miso carbonara, and the Tokyo fried chicken sandwich. Overall, the food was fine but underwhelming for the price point. Nothing really stood out, and several dishes leaned bland, especially the carbonara. The tuna stack was a noticeable step down from the original Cactus Club version, both in flavour and execution. There was also barely anything to eat it with. The lotus chips were sparse, and the holes made them impractical. Wonton chips or even nachos would have been a better choice. I'd give Queen's Harbour another try as they work through their first year, but at the moment it feels like another expensive Toronto restaurant that's more about the vibes than the food. This is quite a large dining venue, which is west of the Harbourfront center on Queens Quay. It's a fairly large restaurant with one large room in the front, another large room in the back with a balcony above it where people can dine as well. This large section in the back currently in December is set up as the Winter Garden. The place is a fairy land of Christmas trees of all kinds of shapes and descriptions and colors. Summer are hanging from the ceiling and some are on the floor. But it's a variable light display and so festive. Food ranges from all kinds of sushi and seafood and then on the land side, it's more focused to Mediterranean or Middle Eastern style of food. Much of it fusion. We decided to try a variety things (mostly appetizers), including whipped ricotta with roasted carrots, lamb and beef kofta, beef Gyoza, fried chicken bites, and Caesar salad. Very good quality food and quite tasty. My favorite thing actually turned out to be the whipped ricotta with roasted carrots. It was delicious. Great ambience and knowledgeable staff. This was my second time visiting Queens Harbour, and again, it did not disappoint! The food is always so on point here. We were seated on the top floor which is decked out in their Winter Garden theme - lots of white decor, lights, and Christmas trees. It was really beautiful and definitely puts you in a Christmas-y mood. I chose to have the steak and sushi and the ferrero espresso martini, and both were great. I thought the ferrero would be too sweet but it was balanced well with the bitterness of the espresso. It was my friend and I's birthday celebration and our server was so kind as to allow us the typical bday dessert (cheesecake) plus our choice off the dessert menu, so we got the matcha creme brulee. The cheesecake was delicious, and while the creme brulee was good it didn't really have much of a matcha taste. However the ambiance and vibe were really cool. I had the steak and sushi (both of which I love) and it was pretty good. Neither were close to the best I've had but both were quite good. We were having dinner at Queens Harbour tonight. One of the most popular dinner spot in downtown Toronto. Please make sure have the reservation at the White Garden Room. The price is very good consider the portion is large. We ordered the King's Ribeye, and sashimi platter. King's Ribeye is a must order. For $59, you have 14oz ribeye. I wouldn't say it is the best quality but it is good enough for the price. Sashimi is fresh and a good way to start the dinner. Also, I need to shout out to our waiter, he is a very nice guy and offered us complimentary dessert for our celebration! Kudos to him!! One draw down is the lady washroom. It is quite dirty. I've now been 2 times and the service of each visit was such a contrast, I struggled to give a proper rating. I would say a 3.9 would be fair. My friend and I actually visited on opening day on July 11. We were lucky enough to get bar seating as walk-in guests, though I'm surprised more seats weren't available, as it is an 800 seat facility. I thought more would be left for walk-ins and not all of them would be left for reservations. We came around 5pm and the next available table would have been at 9pm. That's fine because the bar was stunning and comfortable. We didn't feel cramped. We were offered prosecco as we waited to be seated which I thought was lovely. Service was quick enough but I feel that it's quicker, since the bartender is right there to take your order. What we ordered: White peach yuzu slush This was delicious and actually STRONG! So strong I accidentally got drunk haha. Wagyu beef gyoza Delicious. Great flavour, great cook. I could eat these as a meal. Steak frites My first few bites were great but then I noticed the steak was bit chewy. Not overly but noticeable. However, perfect cook, as I asked for medium and not dry at all. My fries were hella cold though. Like they've been sitting for awhile. Black Tiger Fettuccine My friend got this and I didn't try it but he enjoyed it and said they were fair with the amount of seafood. My second visit was not as great. I actually made a reso for the rooftop patio. When I arrived I had to repeat my name 5 times to 3 different people. It was crazy. So many people working but no communication somehow. Despite having a reservation we still had to wait 10 mins for our table which isn't crazy but then we were seated on the ground level??? At this point I didn't care because we waited long enough and we were starving. This is not the restos fault but I thought it was worth mentioning there was a black spider on the couch I was sitting beside lol. We had to get a waiter to come and kill it which he did with no problem. We appreciated that. Our server was super friendly but there were a few kinks which turned my gf and I off. Like we told her we were ready to order food as soon as she came. We started with our drinks and she walked away so fast before we could even tell her our food order. This was annoying cuz that meant it would take even longer for our food to come. Our drinks didn't come with straws, so I had to try and make my way through people sitting at the bar to grab a straw. This time I ordered: Virtuous Sangria Don't get this. It tasted like nothing. Almost like water. Spicy vodka rigatoni This was actually really good and the chicken was cooked perfectly. It was $8 extra to add chicken but it was a decent size and hello, I needed the protein lol. I would get this again. I had enough to make an entire meal for the next day. Despite the service being all over the place, I get they're still trying to figure things out. Thankfully the food so far has been bomb. Queens Harbour is a massive restaurant right by the water just north of Amsterdam off Queens Quay. Asian Mediterranean food themes. Food (3.75/5) - large menu with lots of options between starters, mains, sushi, pastas and other seafood options. - Duchess Seafood Tower - nice mixture of sashimi, nigiri, crudo, oysters, shrimp and tataki. Oysters were not bad, sushi was ok, hamachi crudo was quite good. - Steak Frites - not bad picanha slices - was cooked well, maybe needed a bit more flavour to come through. - Miso Black Cod - pretty good overall - cooked perfect with nice buttery glaze. Not as good as Lee for example but one of their better dishes imo. - Wagyu Beef Gyoza - these were good - nice taste and cooked tender. Service (4/5) - our server was friendly and fairly attentive. I can see how it could be slower when it's packed but no issue that night. This is a brand new 23,000 square-foot, fine dining fusion (Mediterranean and Asian) restaurant, with a huge retractable roof, indoor dining, and a massive outdoor patio, in the Toronto Waterfront. There is a 800 seating capacity! They officially opened on 2025-07-11. Reservations are highly recommended. The menu was posted on their website on 2025-07-10. The food and service were excellent. For the mains, expect to pay $35-$55, with sushi rolls $20-$25. There are platters and towers at $65-$195! On grand opening day, they were giving each diner a glass of champagne (Prosecco). Too bad it don't drink alcohol. I ordered the following: 1. Where The Dragon Sleeps Mocktail ($12). Non-alcoholic gin, passionfruit, dragonfruit, mint, lemon, soda. 2. Beef Carpaccio ($19). Arugula, parmesan, crostini croutons, pickled mushrooms, creamy blue cheese, grainy dijon, capers, balsamic & evoo. 3. Black Tiger "Fettucine" ($34). Black tiger shrimp, bay scallops, spicy nduja, soleggiati tomatoes, squid ink & saffron wavy fettuccine in a bold aromatic fiery tomato sauce. 4. Chocolate Strawberry Bomb ($12). Strawberry ganache core, creme anglaise, gelato. The Mocktail was quite good, but I feel it had too much mint leaves. The Beef Carpaccio was amazing! The various ingredients added to the different tastes. There were even smooth and crunchy (crostini croutons) tastes. My black Tiger "Fettucine" was amazing. It was a little spicy, between mild and medium. It was mild (and slightly sweet on the outer parts of the dish) and medium twoard the middle of the dish. I was warned about it by my server. The tiger shrimp and bay scallops were perfectly cooked. The wavy fettuccine, which came in squid ink & saffron, were perfectly al dente. However, this dish did not arrive until 1 hour after my appetizer! It turns out my order went to the wrong table and it was refused, but they didn't know where to serve it! Eventually I asked my server to check on my order. That's when they discovered the mistake. So they made a whole new order for me. They manager apologized to me and offered me the dish for free! Thank you! It turns out some of the table numbers were wrong! The Strawberry Chocolate Bomb was a good dessert. The smooth chocolate ganache slowly oozes out of the mini "cake". I took pictures of the following: 1. PEI Malpeque Oysters (half dozen, $19). 2. PEI Malpeque Oysters (fisherman's dozen, $37). 3. Black Truffle Arancini ($14). Arbirio rice, shrooms, parmesan. 4. She knew her dishes, even though she was working at the big, square bar. There are two large bars with counter seating around them. If you are able walk-in (with no reservations), you can be seated there. There is a small bar with no seating, upstairs. There are three specially designed dining spaces with great views of the CN Tower, the Harbour, and Lake Ontario. The seating areas are: indoor, bar, outdoor, booth, and counter. There are two levels of indoor seating. The private dining rooms are upstairs. There is loud Mediterranean music playing in the background. This restaurant is run by renowned chefs Bobby Robert Balintlocal and Julien Laffargue. They developed a "MediterrAsian" cuisine, which marries the flavours of Asia and the Mediterranean. Their menu emphasizes shared plates such as mezzes, charcoal-grilled entrees, and a comprehensive raw and sushi bar. This culinary offering is complemented by a selection of unique, handcrafted cocktails. The building was previously a 140 year-old warehouse. TL;DR summary of the below: Excellent food (except for the sushi). Even better view right by the water / harbour. Nice, large, multi-level interior and patios. Good service (prompt, friendly, accommodating to food customizations). With its big sign and grand 'presence' right in the heart of Harbourfront, you can't miss this place. Oh, and there is a mermaid tank right in front of the restaurant (which I thought was an aquarium tank that would be filled with fish). The mermaid doesn't come often though. SERVICE: 4.5/5 We went a few days after the grand opening, and also right during open time, so it seemed like they were still getting organized and getting into the rhythm of things. There were 2-3 different entry points (at the front and side of the restaurant). We had a reservation but some walk-ins were seated before us. There were 5-6 staff at the front, greeting you and doing check-ins for reservations and assigning guests to tables. The subsequent service at the table was nice and prompt. They served us water right away (choice of tap / distilled, sparkling, or bottled). The assigned server who took our order and the kitchen staff were very accommodating of all of our dish customization requests (thank you!), such as some ingredients to be ommitted / put on the side, and the order of a side grilled broccolini that technically wasn't officially on the menu (but part of another main dish). They get bonus hospitality points for that. It wasn't hard to get our server's attention, and overall they did a great job in terms of customer service. INTERIOR LAYOUT, DÉCOR, VIEWS, AMBIANCE: 5/5 The restaurant has 2 floors. The main floor is where the majority of the dining sections are. The upstairs consists of washrooms and private dining rooms (great for large parties and events!). The "Garden" section has a glass rooftop that lets light in from the top, and the big floor-to-ceiling windows let plenty of natural sunlight in. If you want Instagram posts with the caption "dining with a view", this is the place to be. We were seated in the "Garden" section, right by the windows (which directly faced the side patio), so we got to see the water, harbour, and all the bells & whistles that came with patio seating, with the comfort of being inside (air-conditioned). The wallpapers, plants, and other decorations that adorned this section are also beautiful. There are full bars on site, and large screens playing scenes of the beach / ocean on repeat (making you feel like you're in a garden, but by the beach or ocean). With 2 patios (at the front and along the side of the restaurant, which directly faced the harbour / waterfront), multi-level dining areas, multiple sections (harbour, garden, etc.), and rooftop, the whole place could accommodate ~800 guests at any given time. There was also a live DJ on site. FOOD: 4.5/5 Large portion sizes, fresh ingredients, delicious tastes. 1) Harbour Salad - This was one of our favourite dishes that we ordered. Very large (good for sharing) and multi-layered in terms of ingredients and textures. It had a good mount of leafy greens (lacinato kale and spinach), while the Muscat grapes added sweetness, pickled onion added slight acidity, pistachios and pomegranates added a nice crunch with every bite. The dressing (combination of maple tahini and balsamic vinegar) made it both a bit creamy and tangy at the same time - a nice blend of tastes. We ordered the salad with shrimps add-on, and it came with a couple of jumbo shrimps topped with garlic seasoning. Very yummy. 2) Chimichurri Sea Bass - The grilled whole & butterflied sea bass was already de-boned and had a lot of (fish) meat. I liked the toppings of piquillo peppers, chermoula (blend of garlic, cumin, coriander, oil, lemon juice, salt), and chimichurri. It was served with a side salad, grilled aubergine and zucchini. 3) Miso Black Cod - Black cod is one of my favourite dish, so this dish naturally became one of my favourites. It was simpler compared to the other main dishes, but deserved 10/10. I loved all the items it came with: shiitake rice cake (somewhat crispy at the top and bottom, very flavourful with a slight mild kick), bok choy, king oyster mushrooms, and torched miso glaze with strong miso flavour. 4) 7 Seas Rainbow Roll - This was the only disappointing dish. Skip the sushi if you come to Queens Harbour. The name made it sound like it should be a fancy version of the typical Rainbow Roll at sushi restaurants, but it was a mediocre version of it. Each piece was very small, with mostly rice and only cucumber and shrimp tempura inside (missing the avocado and fake crab that most Rainbow Rolls usually contain). It's undeniable that the interior is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff are dressed very proper. All the women are actually wearing Aritzia garments, which I confirmed with the staff. This place just opened up so they are hustling and bustling and you can tell they had something to prove. Their kitchen is an open concept area with a bunch of food on the order up counter. I'm not sure if these food items were prepped ahead of time before people ordered or if they were waiting for staff to take it to the patrons, but this the waiters seem to be waiting around that area and not taking Any of the numerous dishes that were being displayed. Unpictured, but we had their chicken wings and spicy tuna sushi to start. And the chicken wings were absolutely delicious. It was probably my favourite item I had there. The tuna sushi was also really good. And they had a Yuzu slush, alcohol alcoholic beverage, which is also delicious. We then split the green dragon and steak shareable. The steak was really tender, we had it cooked, medium rare. But the last two pieces I the end of the steak had a really weird texture and I didn't feel safe eating it. The sushi that came with it was good, it tasted just like standard sushi. The Poké bowl was really fresh and tasted really good. The salad was also really good, it was sweet from the dressing and had really complementary ingredients making a well rounded salad. I added salmon for $12 and it was good but a little bit dry and I had to add a lot of lemon because it was dry but also because I love a lot of lemon with my salmon. The chicken club was good but a little on the dryer side. And we ended the meal with a Matcha crème brûlée, which was recommended by our host and she was right about it. At first bite, the dessert was very light in flavor, but as I had a couple more bites I could really taste the Matcha and the dessert really grew on me. It was really good. The service was really great. This waitress was super attentive and kept checking in on us and I believe the manager also came to say hi and check in which is nice. This is the restaurant we've all been waiting for on the waterfront. The first thing you will notice is the space and the vibe. They've done a great job with the interiors and gave it such a chic yet earthy feel with the plants, retractable roof doing justice to the worldclass waterfront that we Torontonians are blessed with. I loved the TV's throughout the restaurant showcasing the world which probably signifies the diversity of our city and the cuisines they are putting on the plate. They have dj nights and it can get loud in the queens garden but it added to the nice vibe. We thought food maybe a hit or miss here because the location and the ambiance may overcompensate for the taste but we were mistaken. Food was amazing all the way from the starters to the dessert. They really did put in thought to the menu. We tried the fish, chicken and the beef. Everything was delicious and flavorful. Service can improve though and we gave this feedback to our waiter and the manager. Our drink order came after our dinner was almost over. The cocktails themselves are not very expensive but my mind wasn't blown either. We finished with chocolate strawberry lava cake which was pretty epic too. Had a wonderful time at Queen's Harbour and was able to sit in 'The White Garden' dining area during the holiday season. For food, we tried the steak & sushi and pesto gemelli rosso pasta. The server was great and let us know it is not a typical basil pesto base, but the pesto is made with tomato sauce - very delicious nonetheless. We also tried the ferroro rocher espresso martini and it was sweet and very chocolatey. We came for our friend's birthday and the server brought them free dessert and huge sparklers for the occasion. This spot is so well decorated. They have the cutest Christmas setup!! The trees are honestly so cute. The ambience is definitely the main highlight here. It's beautiful and really well done, especially with all the lights and decorations everywhere. The service was good and the menu has a solid selection. I didn't get to try too many things, but what I did have was decent. The sushi was delicious, and I got the vodka rigatoni pasta which was really yummy. Checked out this place ( recommended by a friend of mine for a massive patio experience) about a week ago and found out they have been open only for two days. Beautiful decor and patio, very spacious enough that makes you feel its not crowded at all. Drinks were (surprisingly) resonably priced. Wagyu slider was pretty good as well. Not every day you stumble into a restaurant that can entertain 800 people at once. But then again, Queens Harbour isn't your average restaurant. Welcome to the grand opening of Queens Harbour, located right on Toronto's Harbourfront, just off Queens Quay--hence their name. Logical. Location Right on Toronto's Harbourfront, along the TTC Queens Quay streetcar line, Queens Harbour is downtown enough for the buzz but breezy enough to remind you you're by the lake. Better yet, it's right next to a yacht parking lot--yes, yacht parking is a thing--making it the ideal spot for those who prefer to arrive in style, preferably with a captain's hat. There are also regular parking lots just a few minutes' walk away for us landfolk. Either way, this place is about to upgrade the waterfront scene from "nice view" to "can't get a table." Interior Spanning a massive 23,000 sq ft, the space feels like a glamorous 1930s film set met a modern-day yacht club. There's a main dining floor, an upper deck, a semi-open kitchen, and a patio that will be the summer hotspot. The bar alone is cinematic--seriously, someone call Netflix. Also, no tablecloths. And honestly, who needs 'em? It's 2025--we're here for vibes, not starch. Oh. There is an interesting painting of the Queen, with attitude. Go and take a look when you are there. Service We hit the jackpot with Adrian, a true gentleman who anticipated our needs like a psychic with a wine key. When five stars is the max, he deserves a solid seven. Price The menu made us blink twice. Did we just time-travel back ten years? The pricing is incredibly reasonable--especially for a waterfront venue that seats more people than some airlines. Food The cuisine is a playful mashup of Mediterranean and Asian--let's call it MediterrAsian. Where else can you find sushi and steak on the same plate and somehow have it make sense? To be fair, half our dishes were fantastic, and the other half showed some opening-night hiccups (we're looking at you, sushi-steak-wait-time). But that's totally understandable. It's the first day. We suspect they're skipping lunch service for now just to fine-tune the operation--and we're here for it. Final Verdict:Queens Harbour is ambitious, dramatic, and already buzzing with potential. Upon entering the restaurant the hostess was polite and welcoming along with the atmosphere, the place was well decorated with Christmas decor. The vibe was right. However our assigned waiter was unwelcoming, he was very closed off. When ordering and speaking to him he would be monosyllabic. When it was time to pay and obviously tip, his whole tone changed and started sparking up a conversation. I know its the job of waiters to be polite to receive a tip but it would of been nice if he did it throughout the whole time we were dining. As for the food, the burger was a 9/10, sauce was good and scrumptious. As for the steak frites (medium rare), the steak was horrible. No taste and it was so chewy that you would be chewing on it like a piece of gum. Overall, atmosphere was great. This is a beautiful spot on Queens Quay. It is a huge restaurant decorated with a ton of plants. It was a little chaotic when we arrived. There was a lineup of people waiting to be seated and it ended up taking about 15 minutes to get to the desk. Once we did, we were seated quickly. Overall, I would describe the food as very very good but not great. For starters we had the truffle arancini and the Mediterranean dips. We really liked the arancini but the dips were unremarkable. For mains we had the spicy rigatoni with vodka sauce and the truffle mushroom ravioli. We really liked the rigatoni. They weren't kidding when they called it spicy but it was very good. The ravioli was good and very rich tasting but we much preferred the rigatoni. The service was at best inconsistent. We were seated near the bar and our server was also working the bar. At time there were long gaps between refilling drinks, etc. Overall, it is a really beautiful place with good food. I would not put it high on my list of places to visit again. read more

We were seated in the garden area, and the walk to the table made me realize how massive this space was. I really appreciated the spacious seating and greenery all around and it really is a great spot to catch up with friends/have a date night. As for the food, I was a bit less convinced. We got the kalamari, wagyu iberico burger, and the steak frites. The kalamari was a good start - fried well and crispy on first bite, with a nice tartar dip. I didn't quite see the additional elements listed such as yuzu tartar and charred lemon which would make it a bit more unique. For the mains, the burger was quite tough, though the overall item did hold up well. The steak was extremely salty and just felt overseasoned. I'd come back to try some of their drink menu, but likely not for a meal. read more

The interior of Queens Harbour is beautiful, with high ceilings and interesting decor pieces. The patio in nice weather is likely to be enjoyable with the clear view of the CN tower, but it's quite chilly if the sun isn't out! The miso carbonara was solid, but definitely missing some of the miso flavour in the sauce. The dessert on the other hand was rather tasty and something I would order again! If you end up visiting when it is busy (which seems to be often), prepare yourself for slower service, as it seems that the kitchen isn't quite equipped to handle times when the restaurant is at maximum capacity. It was cold on the patio, so we requested hot water for the table, but they could only provide hot water in individual teapots that didn't get replaced very often. This sprawling, beautifully designed restaurant is a welcome addition to the Toronto waterfront. Sitting adjacent to the sprawling, not-so-beautiful Amsterdam Brewhouse, Harbourfront-goers now have the choice between what is basically a giant pub (Amsterdam) and a giant chic and classy restaurant (Queens). The benefit to Amsterdam is its position directly on the water -- the patios are pretty awesome, not gonna lie. BUT Queens also offers views of the harbour from some areas, such as the side patio. Anyway, the vibe at Queens reminds me of Miami -- cool patio setup, gorgeous interior design, and nice house music to match. We tried the seafood tower (sushi, shrimp cocktail, oysters, tuna tataki etc etc -- very well presented); creamy mushroom ravioli with a side of grilled chicken; fried calamari; and sake fried chicken thigh bites. All were very yummy. Service was friendly but they're still finding their footing. We had to ask for side plates -- then cutlery/napkins -- all of which obviously should have been provided before any food was served. Was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed Queens Harbour! I was expecting the food to be pretty mediocre just because of the touristy location, but I actually really enjoyed everything. I got the miso carbonara and black truffle arancini which were both delicious! My friends also all enjoyed what they got, and drinks were all quite reasonably priced. Good food! Not the cheapest but considering the location and the atmosphere, the prices are not so unreasonable compared to other places. Respectful staff! I got the sushi and steak and I really enjoyed every bite of my steak. The sushi also had about 12 pieces which is considered a huge portion compared to other places like Earls that have the same option on their menu. As for the drinks, we got some cocktails. The place is very large and I loved the Christmas decor. Great views of the city skyline if you're on the top floor. For starters, my wife and I ordered their olives and feta cheese dish and a platter of oysters. I loved the feta cheese dip and used it as a spread for the bread they gave us with the dish. The oysters were PEI Malpeque and tasted great. For our entree, we ordered their OG Platter. The steaks were cooked a nice medium rare and were seasoned well. We also loved the sliders and the Mac and cheese. Lastly, the waiter talked us into getting a Ferrero Rocher cheesecake for dessert. It was great ending to the meal.
