Really amazing middle eastern food and is my favourite in the GTA. Everything is 10/10 here and portions are each plate is big enough to share in a group. Highly recommend the "here comes the bride" dish and their coffee items. The decor is beautiful and service was top notch as well.

I am happy to say, my favourite restaurant in Oakville is back to top in my list. My last 2 experience- patio in summers & winter today were amazing. The service which was my biggest disappointment is now the opposite of earlier. The servers are now humble, welcoming and hospitable! Jill was very good to deal with. The food was never an issue and today it was no different. Delicious, aromatic and the best Lebanese in town. Maro's uncle made sure to accommodate any requests, in fact his recommendations with a personal touch saved us some bucks. He also gave complimentary rice for our girl. So kind. I am happy to right the review with a 5/5 ratings

Was recommended by a good friend of mine to must try this place for authentic middle eastern food! I must say this was by far the most authentic as it gets in the city of Toronto. The vibes were amazing just great atmosphere Food is absolutely fantastic.. I was absolutely impressed and blown away by the chicken shawarma was tender and the spices wow 5++++++/5 Service: We were served by the one and only Maro the owner of the resto we felt very special and very nice welcome! The resto strives very much to make sure everyone and everything is up to par! My drink 5++++ I had the sparkling rosé sangria deelish My mom had her turkish coffee she was super happy ! She was even impressed by the spice of cardamom in her coffee.. she loved that little detail. The babaghanoush: very deelish and Hummus : 5/5 very deelish The pastries 5++++/5 especially the pistachios in the desert wooow Overall, I would loveee to whole heartedly recommend this place 1000% Definitely worth every penny!! Cheers

We've never been to this end of Oakville. This casual family setting restaurant is slightly off the main street. We came just an hour before it closed. You would think they will be rushing you off. Nope!! The server was so nice in every way. He asked if we've ever been here, then make sure we understand the portion is relatively big and gave us (this mid age couple) as much time as we need to read the menu and even offer us to visit the online menu as well. We only ordered one plate, but it was plenty for 2. The roasted cauliflower was so nicely cooked-soft inside, roasted on the outside and topped with herbs with sauce. It made a bland veggie extra special. The dip around it was exceptional. There is the usual hummus which is always our favourite, the red pepper one is drizzle with honey and gave it a very nice sweet taste. One of the more interesting dip was the eggplant one, it was charred. All in all love it love it love it.

Came here on Saturday lunch and there was a bit of a wait. It was totally worth the wait, the food was amazing ! Fish is perfectly fried, it coated in spices so not heavy in batter. The hummus and baba ganoush is a must.

If you love food and you love to try new things this is an amazing place to visit. We had a great time sharing the ample dishes amongst the family. The shareable plates brought a variety of flavors that were all delicious. Cool vibe with great service.

"Sweet baby Jesus, damn, that was f***cking good!" I thought to myself as I walked out the door. So I knew I'd have to write a review. I recall the waitress warning of the big portions. Indeed, as I near my rental with a to-go box in hand. This will make a nice breakfast. A nice break from the bologna sandwiches which had been my diet for since I arrived. Hope to have a chance to visit at Maro's again when I return. 5 stars for the food. And 5 stars for my amazing waitress.

THE BEST food I've eaten in a really long time. we had 4 of us from over the GTA meet up here (Brampton, Oakville, Caledon and Toronto) to enjoy a ladies brunch. Needless to say we were all over the moon with the food we had. We decided to try different dishes (pictures below) because we all had a different taste of what we wanted and delightfully appreciated everything that was served to us. the one memorable piece I have to add is that our server was so accommodation to our restrictions and even helped settle in a baby so she could be moved easily between us in her stroller.

I'll keep this short: Amazing food, great service Eat here! I need 85 characters, this place is delightful, warm and friendly

Just wonderful. I love the food, service and atmosphere. Food is just packed with seasoning and spice. It's super healthy and fresh. The portion is very generous with the given price. Service is top notch. The waitress explains the dish well and set our expectations for the amount of foood we orders. You can always take some home. Ambiance is cozy. Not too loud and everyone seems to be local here for a dinner.

Potato Famine

FOOD | I was recommended this place by my vegan and gluten free friends, so I decided to come try it out. We got the Potato Famine ($18.50) and the Belle and the Beast ($22). The portion sizes of their food is crazy! Even just one dish is pretty shareable between 2 people. The Potato Famine was a salad, but it was very filling. I personally felt that the potato did not compliment the kale salad very well, but both were (separately) yummy. The Belle and the Beast was definitely the star of the show though. Everything was so delicious and well-seasoned -- this is a must get! SERVICE | Decent service, the only thing that is reducing the star level for me is the fact that water isn't included. If you wanted to get a drink, you were required to buy sparkling water. AMBIANCE | Due to the open kitchen and size of the restaurant, the noise level was pretty loud. It was sometimes hard to hear each other at times. VERDICT | A must-try in Oakville -- will come back sometime!

Delicious lunch!!

Excellent food and service. A little on the expensive side, but what can we expect from a restaurant right on Lakeshore.

The food was delicious with generous portions, and the staff made us feel right at home. We're from out of town and don't get to the Milton area often, but this has quickly become one of our favorite places when we're here. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back.

Very well seasoned, packed with protein, and the bun it comes on is super soft. I swapped out the tahini for garlic sauce (highly recommend). It usually comes with fries but I swapped it out for rice instead, which was beautifully spiced and had the perfect texture. The owner/manager (lady in a pink striped button down and jeans) was so sweet and hospitable and made sure I enjoyed my food. Their menu is extensive and I really like that they have options from varying regions in North Africa and the Middle East. This is a great place to visit if you love middle eastern food but don't want to drive all the way out to Mississauga or deal with the infamous chaotic Ridgeway Plaza-Erin Mills traffic. It's a *little* pricy ($24), but the portions and flavor are worth it. I like that it came with two individually wrapped sandwiches, and the rice on the side can be paired with some meat and veggies I have at home-- so technically I can make 2-3 meals out of this order.

Highly recommended.

We made the reservation through OpenTable 7 days prior their opening and all the timeslots were fully booked except for 8:30, which we chose. But when we got to the restaurant, more than half of the tables were empty! There are plenty of parking spots available in the plaza where the restaurant is located. The staff are very friendly and they also have coat check. The service was great; our empty dishes were collected from our table the moment we were done with our food! And our table was cleaned up from the food residuals multiple times! Their cocktail menu includes Lebanese fusion alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. And we enjoyed our drinks. Their menu is not that extensive, nothing special that you cannot find in any other Mediterranean or Middle Eastern restaurant, but the prices are significantly higher and the portions are less generous. I believe they were trying to establish a high-end restaurant but they only got the high price right! We ordered Kibbeh for appetizer (included 4 pieces of kibbeh for $22) and Mixed Grill (including Orfali Kebab, Kefta Kebab, Tenderloin and Chicken Tawuk for $77). The total bill came around $170 for 2 people. Our food tasted okay, but nothing special that you cannot find in any other Mediterranean restaurant for at least half of the price!

When I first walked-in, I was kindly greeted by the workers behind the till; they were friendly and welcoming as we chose the item that we wanted to eat. The restaurant itself was small however, it was perfect for a quick bite; the décor was simple yet stylish. There were other individuals at the restaurant as well, which made the setting feel cozy. I had settled on the twisted shawarma without the parsley and onions; I was told by the staff that this was going to be a delicious shawarma so, I was looking forward to it. I waited at the table, and within ten minutes, I was brought the shawarma directly to the table; such excellent customer service! I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the shawarma was; the pita was nicely toasted, and the ingredients inside of the shawarma were the perfect combination of meat, vegetables, and garlic sauce. Overall, this restaurant definitely has my vote for top food, excellent service, and a humble environment. I felt welcomed during my entire stay, and truly enjoyed the food, as it was one bite of deliciousness after another. This restaurant knows how to prepare authentic food, along with displaying kind gestures to all customers, while making a customer feel loved from entry to exit. I paid $14 after tax for a beef and cheese manakish with a side of garlic sauce, and inhaled it in less than 3 minutes, lmfao. It was so good. Everything for the most part is made fresh right in front of you and they use quality ingredients. Service was quick; I had a little difficulty ordering because the guy at the front doesn't speak english very well but that doesn't affect the rating. Interior is really cute, I love the colors and decorations. They have public bathrooms here. I'd like to say I'll be back, but because of the price it'll probably be an occasional treat for me.
