I went to myth for apps and drinks on a Thursday night. We had reservations however, the restaurant was not busy. Both the patio and inside of the restaurant are stunning, and artfully decorated with a Mediterranean feel. The service was great; our waitress was friendly and energetic. Food was tasty but definitely premium priced.

I love all Mediterranean food, so I came to Myth to celebrate my birthday on a Sunday night. There was a a nice crowd, with several different celebrations taking place, but the restaurant was not overly crowded. Upon reviewing the menu, it was a pleasant surprise to find they had a pre fixed Sunday dinner option available, which was perfect for me! It was $65 a person for several courses to share family style. The service was great and the vibe was just right. Between the music and the stunning decor in the place, I was very impressed (there were some nice areas for photo ops as well). I also appreciated how the meal was paced out. I didn't feel rushed to scoff things down and hurry to leave. My favorite food of the night was the Greek salad and the roasted potatoes. The chicken entree was cooked perfectly, but flavor profile was a little lacking. The spanakopita was very heavy on the spinach, which I did not prefer. They also give a complimentary celebration dessert, which was a very nice touch for my birthday. On another visit to Toronto, I will definitely make time to return.

Came for a work event during a weekday. We arrived around 5:30 so the restaurant was empty when we arrived. We ordered drinks and there were some very interesting cocktails which were delicious. As it was a work event for a larger group, the menu was set. It was family style. The interior was very comfortable and decorated nicely. The restaurant was very loud when more people came so it is not a place for an intimate conversation. The food was delicious and the service was excellent where they described each of the dishes when served.

Myth was fire!! Me and bae went for her birthday dinner and honestly I was so pleased. Let's start with the ambiance. This is the first time since visiting Greece that I felt like a place not in Greece for the vibe right. I mean this place was jumping and in Greece they party. Service was great. My glass was never empty. They brought out the food in just the right intervals so that I didn't feel rushed. The food itself was vey very tasty. The only thing that we ordered that I didn't love was the spanakopita. The flavor was great, I just like the spinach to cheese ratio was a bit off. Way too much spinach. The roasted chicken also could have had a little more flavor but the cook was perfect. Otherwise, the food was delicious. I will say you get what you pay for and this was money well spent. I highly recommend.

English We were looking for a new food place for dinner where we can try a good delicious mediterranean food . So, we decided to visit Myth located in Toronto, ON. If you're looking for a phenomenal food / dining experience, look no further than Myth. Their menu is a culinary masterpiece, offering an incredible selection of dishes that cater to diverse tastes and preferences. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff ‍‍‍ is friendly and attentive, making every visit a true pleasure. Myth is a lovely place. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city in spite of being in the city . There's an ample parking space around the building. The place has the huge indoor seating arrangements and the seating arrangement is super comfortable and spacious. The staff is really nice, friendly and kept following . The food menu is great and there are many choices to choose from and they also offer quite a lot of small bites options to choose from.Pricing is decent, good value for money and the place is more suitable for a group of people.

Myth's mezze platter ($35) consists of a collection of dishes, and I love that it showcases some lesser-known dips. Of course, there's the popular hummus, which was thick and filling, but the mezze also featured a silky smooth taramasalata that has an umami saltiness to it from the cured roe. Warning to vegetarians, if I hadn't been told there was fish in the dip, I would have never known. The roe adds a brininess to the dip without any fishiness. If you enjoy feta, try the tirokafteri dip that uses the cheese as the base but has a hit of peppers that creates an unexpected spiciness. It goes great with the soft warm pita or smeared onto the crudite given it had such a flavourful salty kick. While a bit cheesy (pun intended), the cheer of "opa!" before setting the ouzo on fire is what makes saganaki ($22) such a staple. The kefalograviera cheese was oh so gooey, salty, and lightened with just a hint of lemon. I just wished there was more than one piece of toasted bread to go with it. It's not everyday you find raw fish at a Greek restaurant. Myth uses slices of yellowtail hamachi in the magiatiko ($28) adorned with an olive tapenade that was too overpowering. If anything, the dollop of creamy taramasalata (the same fish roe dip featured in the mezze) was more than salty enough. Still, it was beautifully plated and a great light starter. The arancini was good... less creamy than an Italian version, but also didn't leave me feeling as full. It was smartly paired with a feta mousse, which added a touch of sauciness to the risotto but didn't detract from the crunchy crust. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the beetroot carpaccio, so much so that I'd prefer it to the beef counterpart. The sweet thinly slice beets were enhanced with tangy yogurt and a yellow beet mousse. Because there were so many creamy ingredients, the roasted pecans worked nicely to add a contrasting texture. Sadly, the dish isn't on their regular menu, which really should be included as it's a hit. This is a long review, visit Gastro World for the rest.

The atmosphere from the beginning is relaxing and comfortable. For appetizers you must start with the Saganaki (or 3), which comes with the flaming presentation. OPA! The octopus is done just right, great flavor and perfectly prepared. The meal came family style. The WAGYU SOUVLAKI is very flavorful. The Lamb Kabob is tender and makes you wish there was more, even though it comes with a nice portion size. Then we finished it off with an amazing slice of cheesecake. This place is not inexpensive, but treat yourself.

I went here for a birthday dinner and had such an incredible time. Their plates are meant to be shared family style so I recommend going with a large group and splitting a few dishes. We ordered the traditional dip selection, myth chips, and the smoked aubergine. The myth tips are a must - with very crispy zucchini! The interior is also very cozy with candle lit lighting.

Looking for a unique Greek eat? A bit more upscale at King St, Myth serves sharing platters at this gorgeous new location. The food was amazing, I'm normally not a fan of Greek food but I thought everything was seasoned and tasted so good. The drinks did not disappoint. Someone at the table ordered a specialty cocktail and it came with a cute fortune! The area and the food itself are very photo worthy. The service was great and the waiters were very helpful when it came to recommendations on the menu. Although the plates are meant to be shared, it can get very pricey! At the time of going, two skewers were $25! They also only take one form of payment. It was a nice experience but I'm not too sure I can justify the price for some dishes that I think the proportions are too small for a group. Perhaps if you go with less people it will make it more worth.

We had an amazing experience at Myth. The food and beverages were amazing. Food very timely and so fresh. The food had that amazing Greek / Mediterranean Flair. The highlight of the evening was our server Adonis - he was informative, friendly , and loved his job!! A huge shout out to wonderful Must when in Toronto ! #TorontoMichelinworthy

I had the opportunity to visit this much discussed place for a corporate event. We had a set menu that did include a few of their more popular regular dishes - overall, the food was satisfactory, but not extraordinary. The meze platter and spanakopita were flavourful and delicious, but the horiatiki salad, drenched in oil and still managing to be rather bland, was less so. The steak received mixed reviews as apparently it was almost raw at one of our tables. The drinks were a delightful addition to the meal - lots of creativity in their cocktails menu! - but a fairly expensive one. Service was exceptional (as it should be, given the service charge of $1.5K in addition to gratuities), and waitstaff were remarkably attentive and accommodating. Of course, this restaurant is one of those most known for its extravagant decor and theatrical ambiance, on which it certainly delivered. The unfortunate downside is that the music got progressively louder and the lights progressively dimmer as the night went on, making it exceedingly difficult to hold a conversation. I would only come back here if someone else is paying. :P

Overall the food/drinks/ambiance were great. The service level however, was subpar at best. The servers were tending to the larger party in the corner to the left of us and did not once ask if we needed anything or ask if the food was ok. We never received a single quality check throughout our entire meal and we had to ask for water. Furthermore, when paying for our bill, our server was quite rude and did not give us the opportunity to request a copy of the receipt as he quickly walked away and stormed off

Milo's Greek Restaurant has been in its Pickering location forever. It was here when I moved to…read morePickering, 25 years ago, and it has been ages since I've been back. Me and some family members were in the area, and decided to give it a try. We were greeted and seated promptly and then, for the longest time ... nothing. As it turned out, we'd spend a lot longer at this restaurant than we had anticipated. After about 20 minutes, a kind and apparently exhausted waitress appeared, so we ordered drinks and saganaki to start. 10 minutes later, our drinks appeared, and we ordered our main courses then. Although the menu gave prices for wine by the glass, half litre or bottle, we were told that they don't have enough wine to offer any more than a glass at a time. Strange, and unexpected. Eventually, the saganaki (Greek flaming cheese) arrived, and it was really, really good - a generous triangle of grilled, flaming cheese, easily split between the three of us. It was served with some odd bread, which resembled buttered and toasted hot dog or burger buns. This helped take the edge off our hunger as we waited for our main course. And waited. Looking at the time, I noticed that we had already spent over 60 minutes in the restaurant, which was extremely chilly on a cold winter's evening. Many customers, including us, wore their coats throughout the evening. Apparently, the restaurant dining area is heated only by two electric fire places. Our waitress came out and let us know that we had to wait because my daughter's order of octopus was taking a while. At this point, we had already committed to being here, so we had no choice but to see it through. Finally, the food came out. My daughter's octopus was, sadly, overcooked and tough, but still tasty, and the lemon roasted potatoes were excellent. My husband's roasted lamb did not seem like it was prepared as a roast, as there was no browning or roast] flavor, but seemed to have been prepared in a pressure cooker or slow cooker. I had ordered the Moussaka, and had high expectations, based on my memory of Milo's creamy, eggplant-filled, nicely seasoned Moussaka of my distant, long-ago previous visit. However, my portion of Moussaka had the oddest texture: rather mushy and grainy. The well-seasoned, savory tasting ground beef of my memories had now been transformed into a rather average-tasting ground beef mixture that would have been equally at home in a sloppy joe. And I could not find an eggplant in the casserole at all ... well, maybe it had somehow been reduced to such mushiness that it lost it's eggplant quality, but I could swear that it was missing. It was all edible food, though, but not up to our expectations. I hate to give any place a lowly, two-star review. I had hoped for much more, because there is so much about Milo's to raise one's hopes: it's not a big chain, but locally, family-run; it has an appealing and timeless Mediterranean decor; and the menu offers many interesting Greek choices. A few small changes would be an upgrade: better bread, some additional staff and a few space heaters would be a good start. Milo's is the type of restaurant that I would love to support, but I've read enough reviews with similar observations that I am unlikely to return.

It was a really nice spot for a special night... cozy, welcoming, and not overly loud. We enjoyed everything we ordered, but the saganaki was definitely the standout. Beyond the presentation, the cheese itself was excellent... crisp on the outside, warm and soft inside, and really well seasoned. Easily something I'd come back for. The mango ginger spritz was light and refreshing, not too sweet, the Australian lamb chops were cooked nicely, tender, and full of flavor without being overly heavy. We ended the perfect night with baklava and vanilla ice cream. It was flaky, just sweet enough to be shared between us. Portions weren't huge, but we left feeling content. We did have to make a reservation well in advance, which I'd definitely recommend. Prices feel appropriate for a special occasion rather than an everyday dinner.
