    Chicken Souvlaki Dinner
    Maria D.

We had come here on a Sunday morning at around 11:30 am for lunch; we were surprised to see how large the restaurant was, and how many food options were available to order. Once we had placed our orders at the front, we sat down with our receipts, and waited for our numbers to be called. This restaurant was right across the street from the airport therefore, we were able to see airplanes taking-off and landing, which was a nice view. Once our numbers were called, we were shocked to see how large the meals were. I had settled on the chicken souvlaki on a pita, and my mother had chosen the chicken souvlaki dinner, with the intention of taking the leftovers home for her supper. The chicken pieces were very large, with many pieces in both the pita and on the plate. The chicken was tender, tasting fresh. All of the sides were also a good combination, with a lot of tzatziki sauce. Overall, this restaurant was definitely over the top; excellent food (especially for the price), great atmosphere (watching the planes go by), and wonderful customer service (took all of the dishes away from the tables after dining). Would definitely come back to this restaurant in the future; it filled me up for hours afterwards!

We ordered takeout from Zet's on a weekday and the service was quick and friendly. The portion size of the pork souvlaki dinner is large enough for two people and was very flavorful. I enjoyed both the tzatziki and the salad dressing. The pork was tender and well marinated. I would definitely return. The restaurant was clean and had a nice coffee bar area that I would try next time.

My wife and I were unable to finish eating it. That's how fulfilling it was. She's smiling and happy after this meal. It was quite good.

I heard a lot of good things about this place, I tried the halibut fish sandwich and the chicken souvlaki dinner, the halibut fish sandwich was really tasty massive portion, price is a bit steep but their portion size is massive, the fish was really crispy they charge a 1 dollar extra for cheese, the tartar sauce is really tasty and the fish was crispy and soft on the inside. The chicken souvlaki was tender, the potatoes were tasty, I really like the fish sandwich, easily two people can eat the sandwich, I can see why this place has been 50 years in business. The service was really quick and efficient, and the restaurant is quite spacious, right when I came there, there was a lineup, but this place is so far, I'm glad I made the trip, excellent food.

This experience was like finding a hidden gem. The portions are extremely generous and the flavor is extraordinary. I love the down-to-earth atmosphere and the excellent service!

Zet's is a popular diner restaurant serving up some juicy homemade burgers, New York steaks, souvlaki, pork chop, etc. I grabbed some takeout on the way home. My favorite order here is the pork souvlaki dinner. This meal is good for 2 people to share. The pork souvlaki was so tender and juicy. The lemon potatoes and rice were seasoned perfectly. The greek salad was like a meal itself. I think the portions are much bigger than dine-in. You need to go to the cashier to place your order. This restaurant used to be 24 hours, but ever since the pandemic hit, they could not continue those hours. There's a large dining area if you are looking to enjoy your meal. Whenhungerstrikes, I recommend coming to Zet's restaurant. PS they also have a branch in Woodbridge as well.

Order and pay here, that line never waned!

The lineup was constant through the entire time we were there! Literally from the cashier straight through the front doors! For a minimum of $20 per person, we were impressed! Not cheap but still a great value. Big portions that are cooked well and with fresh ingredients. The chicken souvlaki dinner is definitely the most popular. The lemon roasted potatoes are the highlight, but the rich tzatziki sauce and the plump moist chicken is aces! Next time, I'm trying that double burger that looked so good! This is an order-and-sit style place, similar to Harvey's, nice and casual!

Finally got a chance to try out Zet's after a day of shopping, and it did not disappoint! The pork gyro meal was huge, easily enough for 2-3 meals especially with the calamari appetizer we ordered with it. Portions were large, lots of meat and delicious tzatziki sauce. The staff were friendly and helpful in explaining the menu options. Also liked the unique aviation themed ambiance, especially with this location being right next to Pearson Airport! All in all, a great spot for a quick (and filling) bite! I wish they were still 24 hours though

Came for the first time and thankfully there wasn't a huge line. We ordered the chicken and pork souvlaki dinner and both tasted pretty good. Portion size was generous and service was quick and efficient. However I did wish that the food was served a bit warmer. The inside was also pretty clean as well.

May 25, 2024 - I was in the area and decided to get late dinner. This place was packed! I've been to the other location before. But it was my first time at this one. Even though it was packed that day, the service was fast. Didn't take long for me to get to the front. I ordered Chicken Slovakia & Grape Crush, the chicken skewers were huge and the meat was juicy and tender. It was quite a lot. I had to take half of it home. Definitely would get this again.

Wow, when I saw the food coming out, my eyes widened as it was HUGE. I was at the Reptile and Plant Expo on a whim over the weekend, and this spot was just 3 minutes from the International Centre in Sauga, making it super convenient to grab a bite and head back to do more shopping. The food was delicious; I had the chicken sandwich, and my partner had the gyro dinner. We even had another portion to go, enough for a meal the next day. Is it the best Greek food? Maybe not, but it certainly offers great value, and I was pleased. The only thing is they put wayyyy too much dressing and sauce in our food. I would suggest requesting the salad dressing on the side. It's a casual diner with ample seating, so even though it was busy, we were able to score a seat to enjoy.

Been going here since I was 8 years old. Some things never change. The steak was cooked perfectly and the potatoes are such a hit

Got the peameal on a Kaiser, peamale tasted burnt and bitter and their onion was cut into thick chunky cubes not ideal for a sandwich.

We got the Grand Slam and the Jack's Classic Benedict, along with some coffees. The food was good and was exactly what you expect from a small diner. My partner really liked the pancakes, sausages, and peameal bacon that came with my benny. I really liked the potatoes and the perfectly poached eggs. Unfortunately for me that meant I felt out of control sick or I was in a lot of pain at random times. Once I was there, I started to feel terrible. It had nothing to do with the service, food or anything, it was just how bad I felt. I probably had resting "B" face if you catch my drift. Anyways, apparently I looked distressed or furious, and the waiters and managers kept apologizing for the wait and asking if I needed to change something out. Mind you, I never once addressed them. Like in American restaurants you can literally be like, "Hey this isn't right," and some of the responses will be go see a manager, who is hiding in the back and then claims the next day you should have seen him that night to fix your issues. Not Skyway, they were like this customer doesn't look happy, we need to fix that. There really wasn't anything they could have done, because it was nothing they did. It was just me being sick. But the fact that the food was great, even if I was in too much pain to finish it, it came out quick, and we kept getting amazing service was worth it to me. I don't know when I'll be back in Canada, but if I am, I want to return here when I'm not feeling sick, so I can thoroughly enjoy this place more. They definitely had regulars and the little people watching I did, everyone looked so happy. Definitely recommend this place.

The hostess laid down the menu for us, then gave us ample time to decide on our order. There were plenty of items to choose from therefore, it was hard to narrow down one item. Once our server arrived to take our orders, she was able to answer any questions that we had regarding the menu items. Our server was knowledgeable and kind, even cracking a few jokes while we were deciding on what to order. I finally settled on Lester's corned beef slices and eggs, with water to drink, and rye toast as my choice of bread. I found the eggs and corned beef slices to be well-prepared and fresh; very tasty, and an abundant amount as well! The rye toast was also delicious, as it came slathered with butter, and a side of jam. The only item that I didn't like were the home fries; they weren't crunchy, and tasted mushy. They didn't look very appetizing either; that definitely set me off to be honest, as I typically enjoy smaller home fries, which are crunchy and nicely-shaped. Regardless, the food was overall great, and a good price for the amount that was given. Service was also excellent, as our server came by to check on us regularly during our stay, and apologizing if she was a tad late in bringing over an item. I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant as well, as it felt like a cozy family dining place. Would definitely come back in the future!
