Place is small with some middle of the room tables and some booths are available. We went on a Sunday night so it wasn't too packed. They also have a VIP area that's right on Hazelton St, the public area is in the small alleyway by the entrance in front of Kasa Moto. No complaints with service, they were fast, everyone was nice. We celebrated my friend's birthday so we had a cake brought out for him. The girls had sparkles which was nice. The other tables had a couple of bdays too but no one sang happy birthday, neither did the servers when they did our table. Kind of awkward but our table sang for my friend of course. The menu was very small, maybe because it was at night? It was around 8pm at the time. Food menu was not appealing in my opinion, we ended up just getting one cocktail each and my brother in-law ordered a pita dip. It was mediocre, nothing special. I found this place to be quite blah... nothing really special at all. But I do like the sparklers. I wouldn't come here again but if I do perhaps I'll come earlier, maybe the menu is different.

A restaurant locates in Yorkville, and is underground kind of like a basement vibe. However, the interior is super moody, dark and romantic. On a Thursday night there were only four tables dining here which is such a bummer because the food here is great. Servers were friendly and food came out in a timely manner. The washrooms are individual stalls and there is someone there that is permanently sitting outside to clean after every use, which is amazing! Love that service. The food and drinks here were amazing. I started my night with one of their cocktails as I was on some medication and couldn't have alcohol. It was so delicious and fruity that I didn't mind having the cocktail at all! Looked super pretty and pink as well. The food here is amazing with some must gets and some misses of course. Zucchini fries 5/5 These were out of this world for me. It's so thin, crispy and delicious with their green dipping sauce. Don't be discouraged if you don't like zucchini as you can't even tell that you're eating a vegetable since it's fried and has a delicious cheese coating on the exterior. A must get! Hamachi 2/5 This was a big miss I think. The hamachi quality wasn't of the best and the dish came with 6 pieces of hamachi for quite a steep price. The factor that I think made this dish the worst though was the highly salty soy sauce the chef used to pair this hamachi with. It was way too salty and masked any freshness and taste of the hamachi itself. A ponzu sauce would've been a much lighter and better pairing in my opinion. Lamb rack 5/5 Another delicious must get menu item. Cooked to perfection, was super juicy and wasn't gamey at all. It came with three racks per order and our server asked if we wanted to add one more rack since we were a party of 2. We kindly declined and so glad that we did as it was enough food for the both of us in the end. Watermelon salad 5/5 I may be bias with this, since I love watermelon but this salad was so refreshing and paired so well with our lamb that we also got. Highly recommend getting this dish to lighten up the palette. Overall I really hope this restuarant does not close down since it was so quiet on a Thursday night, because I NEED to go back for those zucchini fries! They're that good!

I went to Paros, located in yorkville, with two friends. We were seated on the patio, which had a lovely ambiance and "moody" vibe. We each ordered a cocktail and shared the lamb chops, hamachi crudo, grilled shrimp, sliders, and pita bread with dip. Cocktails were good but, I was expected the food to be better; it was just okay. The lamb chops, although cooked well, lacked flavour and the shrimp were a bit dry. Also, the portions were too small for the price paid. Service was good; our waiter was friendly and attentive.

Part of a longer review... Paros, a Greek sanctuary in the heart of Toronto's Yorkville, certainly sets the stage with an ambiance that takes center stage, outshining the culinary experience. The transformation from the vibrant Amber nightclub to this serene Mediterranean enclave is visually striking, promising an otherworldly escape to the Greek isles. Paros offers a selection of traditional dishes with a modern twist that are designed for sharing, and also offers bottle service.

First time having dinner at Paros at Yorkville. This place is good for sharing different plates between 2-4 people. The atmosphere is on the darker side, more toward the wine bar style. Our waitress suggested ordering 3-4 plates on the menu for sharing, so we ordered Grilled coliseum shrimp, lamb chop and grilled branzino. We knew ahead of time the 3 shrimps would cost us $30, so we wondered what size would the shrimp be. When it came out, we were shocked they are jumbo size. The lamb chops were a bit overcooked as we ordered medium rare. We were a bit disappointed with the fish filet as it is a bit lack of favor. Overall I would come back second time to try more Greek food.

After perusing the Google reviews, I took a chance with this new Greek restaurant in the Yorkville neighborhood and found my overall experience enjoyable. It seemed that most of the bad reviews were related to the growing pains of opening week (e.g. poorly trained staff, menu items running out, long wait times for food), which I thankfully didn't come across during my visit. As a subterranean restaurant, the interior was cozy, dim, and candle-lit. The heating was set high and the contrast of the red flowers at the bar against the white marinace granite tables was romantic. For two, we ordered three appetizers and two entrees for around $150 (tax and tip included) and left stuffed. Trio dip - A nice starter for sharing. You have your classic tzatziki (yogurt & cucumber), melitzanosalata (eggplant topped with 2 olives), and htipiti (red pepper & feta). All 3 dips were good but nothing to write home about. The star of the show was actually the pita that came warmed, was nicely seasoned and grilled, and was refillable at no additional charge! Zucchini chips - This was delicious! The batter was well seasoned and perfectly crispy. Though you could barely taste the zucchini, the presentation was excellent with each "chip" clearly evident as a long, wholesome strip of thinly sliced zucchini. Kalamari - I would skip this next time. I found the batter too thick and harsh on the palate. Perhaps too heavy-handed with the chickpea flour. Chicken skewers - Fantastic dish, this one's a must order! The chicken was tender on the inside, charred perfectly on the outside, and drizzled with the most delicious labouth sauce. The value was also incredible so it's a no-brainer. Lamb chops - Cooked to medium-rare as requested, these were excellent in the tenderness category. The accompanying paros sauce was also tasty. Only caveat to this dish was that the meat itself was lacking some seasoning. Overall, the food was served in a timely manner (last dish arrived within 30mins of placing our order) and the busboy offered good service. They specified a 2 hour seating limit but we were satisfied with our meal and left after an hour.

**Christmas Cheers with a Touch of Glam**…read more Celebrated a Christmas party at Storys Building, and the experience was a mix of luxury, fun, and high energy. The first two floors are dedicated to dinner seating, while the third floor hosts parties and gatherings. The space worked, but with the number of people invited, it felt a bit tight -- something to keep in mind for larger groups. The vibe was fantastic. Drinks were expertly crafted, the bartenders were attentive, and a DJ kept the energy flowing in the background. As the night progressed, everyone hit the dance floor, and the party truly came alive. Bathrooms were plentiful and well-maintained, and the thoughtful touch of wellness kits in the ladies' room added a hint of luxury. One minor hiccup was the coat check -- it was a bit congested and struggled to accommodate all the coats. But my biggest suggestion for improvement would be the addition of an elevator. Climbing three floors in heels and dresses proved challenging for many, and an elevator would make the space more accessible without taking away from its elegance. Overall, Storys Building delivers a lively, luxurious, and memorable party experience. The energy, drinks, and attention to detail make it a spot worth revisiting -- just come prepared for a little stair workout if you're headed to the third floor.

I put a pair of sunglasses in my backpack's front pocket, I fully expected it to be crushed during coat check. The staff voluntarily assured me that they would make sure it was protected. I've been to other events where the coat check staff had lost my jacket, so the extra care on my belongings added to the positive experience. The staff there were pleasant and even remembered my face when I checked out my coat on the way out. The hors d'oeuvres were great, I enjoyed everything I tried, like the mini sliders, fried chicken, and bruschetta. We also had a taco station that was good too. I didn't expect any less since they are under the same hospitality group as Byblos and Patria, which I've dined at before and enjoyed. The biggest plus is the location, at the heart of the Entertainment District. It's close to many offices and the Financial District. Our cocktail hour ended in 2hrs but there are plenty of bars nearby to extend the get together for another drink. For example, Grace O'Malley's is just across the street and not too busy to grab a seat on a weekday night.

The level of unprofessionalism is appalling for a venue of this scale, but what pushed things over the top was the dismissive attitude that Derek took towards our concerns. As an example, when raising concerns that our final invoice matching our estimate exactly was impossible, Derek disregarded it as a "happy coincidence" despite further investigation showing that the venue had just billed us wrong. This type of tone, and lack of accountability, was consistent in all our communications with him. Mistakes happen, but the flippant attitude that Derek spoke to us with incredibly insulting. Had I known management was like this, we would have picked a different venue.

But I did get a chance to check out their Oval Boardroom and the gallery downstairs where the movie was screened. unfortunaly the event was pretty low lit (you know being Halloween and all) so I wasn't able to really admire the venue, but it seemed great for a medium sized event (I'm not great at guessing numbers but I'd say 150-ish people). The Oval Boardroom amongst a few other smaller rooms was where we spent an hour or so with actors who would act out specific scenes from the movie. It is definitely a very interesting space, again, I didn't get a chance to really walk around to see what some of the items that were a part of the Heritage Centre's deco were like, but there seemed to be a few interesting looking frames around. I'm not sure who catered the food, so I can't really speak for any of the actual venues food, we didn't have hor d'oeuvre served which is usually the case for 360 screenings, so I'm not sure if that was due to the venue or our event hosts. This Banquet Hall is within a "strip mall" like building. To my surprise, there are multiple Banquet rooms (4 rooms total) that they have to offer accordingly to your guest count. ALL of the rooms are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Clean, spacious, and up to date renovations that surely will impress you and your guests. They offer a variety of packages & work with multiple vendors to make it your one stop shop. The Venue is located in a good area & the Pricing point is shockingly affordable. I say shockingly bc you would expect for the way this venue is set up to be far more costly than what it is. They have a good sized on site kitchen for use. Multiple small office rooms to use for party purposes (if available and upon request). Clean spacious bathrooms. Handicap accessible on the top floor. Forreal though, the run Soho House had can only be rivaled by 2011-2015 Whole Foods. You really had to be there... but like any other prime, Father Time always catches up. I was set to do a full rise and fall piece on the Soho House right here on Yelp but in my research, I stumbled upon an article by Lydia Moynihan in the NY Post and she nailed it. I really didn't have much to add so go over and read that if you have a sec. Shoutout to Lydia. Instead, I'll just recap our experience here like any other boring Yelp Review. We came to this Toronto location before the Taylor Swift concert, and I was pleasantly surprised. It felt like prime Soho House. A beautiful, discrete brick building with an old school interior. Whoever designed this one needs a raise. I'm so tired of the cookie cutter half-assed modern architecture. The ones in LA and NY now feel like it is just a bunch of dorks trying to be seen by God knows who. There is no soul in those locations. We grabbed a drink in the lobby and went upstairs for our 5pm dinner. I domed a couple of negronis and we split a margherita pizza and a bottle of pinot noir before our mains arrived. I got the rigatoni, per the waitresses recommendation because she had a thick Italian accent. Big truss. She wasn't lying either, that rigatoni went crazy. I took like 30 pictures before a staff member came over and said no pictures, as I didn't know that was still a rule here... please don't beat me up. We closed dinner with a couple espresso martinis before setting off on foot to go see Big Tay put on a show. She really did her thing.
