Storefront - The photo depicts the exterior of Mozz, a restaurant located in a brick building with large glass windows and a black awning. Outdoor seating is visible with tables, chairs, and umbrellas, and several patrons are seated. The building has a circular sign with the Mozz logo on the upper part. The scene includes a sidewalk, a utility pole, and a partly cloudy sky.

The new Mezes is beautiful - spacious, modern classic, clean lines, and lots of light. Definite bonus points for the look and feel of the place. Now on to the food. Stopped by for lunch and got: - Kalamari: Easily the best fried kalamari in Greektown. Kalamari was sweet and not rubbery, batter was light and tasty on its own. - Small Kria Poikilia: Dips galore! Got the tzatziki, taramosalata, melitzanosalata and tappenade. All were smooth and tasty, and liked all of them except for the taramosalata (tasted almost potato-y to me). - Aegean Fare Special: Beef slivers and chicken chunks were tender and flavourful. Side Greek salad was a good size. - Greek Yogurt: Smooth and properly sour. Generous with the walnuts and honey. - Chocolate Fig Baklava: Easily the best baklava I've had even if it is unit traditional. The chocolate and fig spread went perfectly with the walnuts and pastry. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices were reasonable and relatively on par with the rest of the street. And again, that beautiful new space. Mezes is a good spot even amidst the crowd of Greek restaurants in the area.

We decided to check out the new Mezes location at the corner of Arundel tonight with friends. I have to say I was a little disappointed. We always loved their original location. We always enjoyed their food but for me it was just ok. Things to know: - they don't take reservations and it can get really busy on weekend nights - they have a bar in the lower level if you want to have a drink while you wait - it's 3 levels - all very open, so if you are going out with friends to catch up, this is not the place. The noise level was very loud. We were pretty much shouting over the din. (Not great). - very modern and nice decor - during the warmer weather they have a huge outdoor patio on the side of the resto) Some pics of the food - - Fried Calamari - was quite good and a generous portion - as an app 3-4 could share nicely - Lamb Souvlaki - asked for medium and got it well done. Not the best. The French fries were by comparison not up to what they used to be. I always thought they were the best (at the old location) but they were not fresh and crispy like before. - Moussaka. - was ok. The rice tasted a bit funny to me. I wish I could describe it better. But like it had some new spice in it. - Rodos salad with Calamari - my friend had this and said it was delicious. It certainly looked good. Our server George was very friendly and we were quite happy with the service There is a GreenP lot nearby for parking. Street parking can be challenging near the resto especially during busy times.

we were looking to try greek food in toronto and the reviews said to check out meze so we went there. overall space is beautiful and portion size is good, flavor is lackluster and customer service was also lackluster. we started out with the hummus trio which tasted fresh but it was served with frozen pita/naan that was warmed up; fresh would've better as frozen is a bad look we then got the greek salad with feta which had a big piece of feta but the flavors of the salad were underwhelming. we then got the chicken kabobs and french fries with feta -- both portion size was good but flavor was average

Really good atmosphere, good service, and really good food. We ordered the tzatziki (thick and flavorful), hummus (mild and good texture), and olive tapenade (so flavorful) for an app and I got 3 lamb chops with a side of rice. The lamb chops were cooked we requested and were very juicy and flavorful. The rice was good but I probably would skip that next time. Would definitely come back!

A table at an outdoor restaurant features two salads, one with lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and cheese, and another with grilled chicken, vegetables, and greens. There are bottles of water, a bottle of Mythos beer, and condiments including pepper and hot sauce. The background shows other diners seated at tables, with lush green plants and sunlight filtering through. The setting appears casual and relaxed.

It's suitable for gatherings, birthdays and is fully functional during the dance nights on the patio. Patio is covered and heated and on Friday & Saturday nights will only offer bottle service and dance parties with a live DJ. We made a reservation for Friday evening on the patio. Unfortunately, the servers seated all couples cramped in one corner, even though there were many tables available; that made everyone uncomfortable. We ordered Red Wine, "Trio Dip" and "Spaducci Skewers". The food was delicious, but we could've enjoyed our night even more if the sitting arrangements were better.

The table ordered a bunch of different items. Everyone has mixed opinions about their food. The sliders, this was so incredibly dry that I had to ask for any sauce to eat it. Paired with fries which were tasty. I had asked to have my food packed (all items ) they didn't pack half of it. The service was good, she was sweet the ambiance was nice but overall, the food review for most guest present was below average. Several chicken skewers brought to the table were uncooked (pink) and had to sent back for further cooking.

Milos Greek Restaurant - Bread that comes with dinners

Milo's Greek Restaurant has been in its Pickering location forever. It was here when I moved to…read morePickering, 25 years ago, and it has been ages since I've been back. Me and some family members were in the area, and decided to give it a try. We were greeted and seated promptly and then, for the longest time ... nothing. As it turned out, we'd spend a lot longer at this restaurant than we had anticipated. After about 20 minutes, a kind and apparently exhausted waitress appeared, so we ordered drinks and saganaki to start. 10 minutes later, our drinks appeared, and we ordered our main courses then. Although the menu gave prices for wine by the glass, half litre or bottle, we were told that they don't have enough wine to offer any more than a glass at a time. Strange, and unexpected. Eventually, the saganaki (Greek flaming cheese) arrived, and it was really, really good - a generous triangle of grilled, flaming cheese, easily split between the three of us. It was served with some odd bread, which resembled buttered and toasted hot dog or burger buns. This helped take the edge off our hunger as we waited for our main course. And waited. Looking at the time, I noticed that we had already spent over 60 minutes in the restaurant, which was extremely chilly on a cold winter's evening. Many customers, including us, wore their coats throughout the evening. Apparently, the restaurant dining area is heated only by two electric fire places. Our waitress came out and let us know that we had to wait because my daughter's order of octopus was taking a while. At this point, we had already committed to being here, so we had no choice but to see it through. Finally, the food came out. My daughter's octopus was, sadly, overcooked and tough, but still tasty, and the lemon roasted potatoes were excellent. My husband's roasted lamb did not seem like it was prepared as a roast, as there was no browning or roast] flavor, but seemed to have been prepared in a pressure cooker or slow cooker. I had ordered the Moussaka, and had high expectations, based on my memory of Milo's creamy, eggplant-filled, nicely seasoned Moussaka of my distant, long-ago previous visit. However, my portion of Moussaka had the oddest texture: rather mushy and grainy. The well-seasoned, savory tasting ground beef of my memories had now been transformed into a rather average-tasting ground beef mixture that would have been equally at home in a sloppy joe. And I could not find an eggplant in the casserole at all ... well, maybe it had somehow been reduced to such mushiness that it lost it's eggplant quality, but I could swear that it was missing. It was all edible food, though, but not up to our expectations. I hate to give any place a lowly, two-star review. I had hoped for much more, because there is so much about Milo's to raise one's hopes: it's not a big chain, but locally, family-run; it has an appealing and timeless Mediterranean decor; and the menu offers many interesting Greek choices. A few small changes would be an upgrade: better bread, some additional staff and a few space heaters would be a good start. Milo's is the type of restaurant that I would love to support, but I've read enough reviews with similar observations that I am unlikely to return.

It was a really nice spot for a special night... cozy, welcoming, and not overly loud. We enjoyed everything we ordered, but the saganaki was definitely the standout. The wait staff brought it out and poured a shot of liquor over the cheese before lighting it on fire at the table, which added a fun touch without feeling gimmicky. Beyond the presentation, the cheese itself was excellent... crisp on the outside, warm and soft inside, and really well seasoned. Easily something I'd come back for. The mango ginger spritz was light and refreshing, not too sweet, the Australian lamb chops were cooked nicely, tender, and full of flavor without being overly heavy. We ended the perfect night with baklava and vanilla ice cream. It was flaky, just sweet enough to be shared between us. Portions weren't huge, but we left feeling content. We did have to make a reservation well in advance, which I'd definitely recommend. Prices feel appropriate for a special occasion rather than an everyday dinner. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Overall, a great experience and a place I'd happily come back to.

This was one of the only places a guy that I was seeing when I was in my early twenties and I would go, late at night, when we knew we wouldn't catch anyone else we knew out. The food was predictable, always - and not in a bad way - it just hit the spot after a night of drinking, or when you are hungover. The salad will forever have too much dressing and will be the unhealthiest thing but the souvlaki here was honestly the most shocking thing. Mind you I have not been in six and a half or seven years so don't take my word for it, but for a place to be around this long and still have loyal customers - they're really doing something right, it's not just sheer luck so give it a go! There is zero ambiance or date night feel here, okay. Don't take your girl unless you've been married over ten years. It's boys or girls night out material only. haha
