We purchased a Honda Civic about 12 years ago at Paragon Honda…read more When we did a test drive back then, the young and arrogant salesman who sold us our vehicle told us that he didn't drive Hondas since he drove a Lexus. Fast forward to last week when my wife and I went back to Paragon Honda looking to buy a brand new Civic. We walked around the lot outside looking at the few Civics they had. There were salesmen outside but not one of them greeted us or asked us if we had any questions. We then went into the dealership, walked around looking at cars for a while. No one greeted us; no one asked if they could assist us. Now, I don't know if the salesmen wouldn't help us because we were two women looking at cars, or if it was because the salesmen there realized we were looking for a Civic, which is one of their less expensive models. Needless to say, we left after about a half hour of no one speaking with us. The funny thing is we were ready to purchase the car and they WOULD have had a sale and our business (the dealership is the closest one to where we reside). Instead, we found a MUCH BETTER Honda dealership in Long Island. It was more of a trip for us, but they were very kind there and that's why we are purchasing our car from them. Paragon Honda is filled with douchey-dudes. Do not buy cars there. The salesmen there think they are better than everyone else. I still wonder if they would have assisted us if I walked in with a husband instead of my wife. Oh well. Their loss.

Treating myself to a Cadillac at Empire Cadillac was a terrible mistake. Please be warned…read more We traded in our Jeep with a written commitment from them to handle all outstanding charges for it. Signed by the manager and the finance guy. As a trusting female and senior citizen I accepted that; and I really wanted one fancy car as perhaps my last car in my life, so I was stupid. Weeks later I get a bill for $4,000 from Jeep for repairs. Cadillac took weeks to return the car to them and didn't cover the work. If I had fixed up my Jeep myself prior to giving it back I would have used my reliable local service station for the work at half the price. But I was so pleased not to need to handle that, real fancy Cadillac service I thought! I contacted Empire and they said all the people I worked with were fired and no one would stand up for a document I clearly forged! I paid the $4,000 to keep in good standing with the financial department used by Jeep. So I already felt sad about the new car. Within one week of driving it I brushed against the leather seat with a zipper on a jacket and it shredded. The leather is paper thin and so cheap! When customer service called to ask how I was enjoying my car (but really to hustle me for a service appointment). I told them about the seat. "She'll get right back to me to make this right!" said their awful customer service woman. Never heard back. Took advantage of a senior and still trying to. Hard lesson learned. I ended up at Paragon last week for service to my 2015 MDX. I've been in the market for a new…read moreone for a while, but still couldn't decide. But I'll be honest, I was not looking to get another Acura. Nothing against the brand, but after 17 years, I was tired of the MDX and ready to move on. While it was in service, I had a chance to speak with Eudes, a very competent Client Advisor, who introduced me to Frank in sales. Like I said, I was there for service, not to shop for a car. Frank is a car dealer that is a very rare find. Almost as rare as a 2025 CPO MDX A-Spec Advance under 15K miles in Murder Black.(My garage guy came up with that name when he saw it) I told him about my research for a new car, and that the MDX wasn't one of them. No problem, no pressure. He got to know me, and why I didn't like the MDX drive anymore. Of course a new Tech package would be better than my 2015. Still, I had other plans. I wanted more engagement in the road, tight European handling and street style. As if there was a "your wish is my command" moment, he brings me out and shows me this car. It was like this car was trying to find ME and Frank made the introduction. No pressure, as Frank wisely explained to me how I can get a car fully loaded that had features I could only dream about, at a better price and value than a new 26 Tech package. I consulted with people who work in the auto industry representing hundreds of dealerships across the country. I called them to see if they could get me a better deal. Not only could a better deal not be found, but that package in that condition wasn't on any of their lots. And that's when I learned the term Unicorn, in dealership lingo. That is an incredible series of events to come together. And they came together over on Northern Boulevard at Paragon Acura. I started off with Ronnie in the Service Department who was taking in info on my old car. The guy has a naturally friendly personality that makes you feel like you're not gonna get screwed. He's an asset to Service. And Frank, what can I say? He turned a car buyer coming in for service, who was in the market, but had already written off the MDX; into someone who drove off the lot on Friday with the best vehicle I've ever owned at a great deal. This car is so much fun, that to call it driving, barely scratches the surface of how you feel ..behind this wheel. The internet isn't going to find you the right Acura for you. Paragon will put you in the right, and smart choice of models. You just read a review from someone that had a great experience buying a car at a great deal from a dealership, in person. A type of review that's also a Unicorn. Rare and hard to find. Now you know.

Majority rules and I must agree this is one of the world's worst auto mall that I have ever been…read moreto. They are very rude, inappropriate, lying and the most manipulative business out there. So here's my story: I financed a 2007 Toyota Yaris for a ridiculous price (it was my own fault, it was my first car buy and I didn't know any better). I also bought a $1595 warranty along with the car through Mayor's Auto Mall through a company called Driver'z Edge. FOUR MONTHS later, the car was no longer in my possession and I wanted to cancel the warranty. I spoke to my insurance company and they said that I could get a refund for the warranty that I never used. Perfect! I can get my money back. I went into Mayor's Auto Mall and asked for a refund, they denied and me told me that I couldn't get it back b/c I signed a contract that said there is a cancellation fee on the refund that's worth more than the warranty price. I asked for proof of documentation. Steph, one of the manager's (can't miss him-a guy with a blonde pony tail and manicured nails) kept stalling and told me the documents were locked away and I couldn't have it. So I called Driver'z Edge to demand the refund straight from the source. Driver'z Edge had NO RECORD of my contract from Mayor's Auto Mall. That means that they either never sent in my contract on purpose, and pocketed all the warranty money themselves or they just forgot to send in the contract. Either case, this is completely their fault and I DESERVE every cent of my money back. I paid them $1595 to complete a service that they did not Fulfill in their end. So duh, I deserve every cent of my money back. But of course, as conniving, wicked and evil as this company is, they did everything in their power to not give me the money. They LIED and told the warranty company that I canceled the warranty before they submitted it to them. (remember, i canceled the contract 4 months later-shouldn't Mayor Auto Mall have sent the contract WAY before the deal was made?) I caught them LYING! Then they claimed that now all of a sudden they have to send the money to the bank and not in my hands b/c I financed it. (BUT THE FINANCE WAS ALREADY ALL PAID FOR!) So DUH the check was returned back to them and now all they needed to do was write the check under my name. Except they didn't want to give it to me. I called almost every day demanding my money back but of course as wicked as they are, they never picked up and always asked for my name before forwarding me to the right person. But oh, coincidently after I mentioned my name, Steph would always be too busy every single time to talk to me. I am still a customer and as wrong as they are they have the audacity to treat me very rude, hang up on me multiple times and even said I have no life b/c I kept calling. Well obviously, if you guys stole money from me, I will call you guys in an attempt to retrieve it back....idiots. And maybe if you gave me my money...I would stop calling....but they are dumb so they did not see that correlation as clear as I did. Naturally I got upset so I decided to take legal actions and announced that I would sue them. AND OH, all of a sudden my check came in the mail 2 days later coincidently. (not a mix up at the post office b/c it was postmarked and dated) When I received the check, they SHORTED me!!!!! Another attempt to try to salvage whatever money they stole from me. I called but what can I do! They wanted nothing to do with me. So I decided to continue with the lawsuit to get back every cent of my money back. During court they claimed that the reason why they shorted me was b/c the warranty was a pro rated amount. BUT HOW CAN YOU CHARGE ME A PRO RATED AMOUNT FOR A SERVICE YOU NEVER COMPLETED?! They never sent in my warranty contract so the contract is indefinitely not valid. Kudos to you Mayor's Auto Mall for having the balls to show up at court to fight an argument that you guys were destined to lose. Justice prevails and the court ruled in my favor! So I have won the full amount AND they are forced to pay me back the court fee :) Life is good. LESSON learned....NEVER trust Mayor's Auto Mall. They are scammers and will not own up to their mistakes. By the way! I believe I tarnished their image so much they changed their store name to CITY MITSUBISHI. It is still located in the same address and it is still under the SAME management. So watch out! Even though they are under a different name it is still run under the same management.
