Please I am warning anyone and everyone with a bit of common sense to kindly stay away from this place especially from the boss and a certain sales rep by the name of Greg Gordon or at least that was the name he gave us this place is quite typical of most if not all of the dealerships on Northern Blvd. they lie/pretend not to know at least the average cost of the vehicles that they're suppose to be selling on a daily basis/play silly little games like they cannot tell you the price of the vehicle without a vin #:? then they try to force you to leave a down payment for a car you've never even seen before kind of like buying steak without even knowing whether or not if it's exactly the right one you want telling you oh the bank has to repossess a vehicle first wait a week or two then give us a call but then they call you three days after telling you oh you know my boss told me to tell you that you know the car is pretty expensive right? but not to worry my boss is going out to look for cars but you all had told me that the bank takes care of everything including delivery? oh yeah don't worry about that bro all we want is just 2 thirds of your pay check(s) :) then once you've decided that that you have had enough and demand your refund after getting a far better deal on an (Audi A8 L) with less mileage than they were offering they try to tell you that you'll have to submit paper work proving it and when you say no that is absolutely none of your bloody business oh well you will have to speak to George the boss matter of fact he will call you later well well later comes and goes yet no call(s) so then you have to call the next day and then George starts to laughs and pretends that he does not know you when in fact he is the one who answers most of the phone calls and he even greets you the moment you enter hmmm.. how convenient :) you tell George that his sales rep Greg has suddenly developed a nasty attitude towards you speaking in a manner as if you're some sort of retard/child and he even begins to speak as if he is one of those crazies from a project cursing/yelling all because you just want your refund back George of course acts as if it is such a disgusting thing for him but of course as he continues to speak you will notice that he is gradually starting to side with his rep when he finally realizes that he is dealing with someone totally different from the (fool) he then oh come back in about a week and I either refund or offer up something else so I then say listen George I want what I want and that is that I am being nice to you so just give to me my money back and we can all go our separate ways without malice ok my friend :) So in conclusion and this goes for every dealership no matter how nice they are if they do not have the vehicle on site then just walk away because they more than most likely will heading toward an auction for where they will get it for next to nothing but charge you triple for it and hope that you will not keep up with the payments so they can come take it away and resell to yet another poor soul and it just goes on and on and on read more

Majority rules and I must agree this is one of the world's worst auto mall that I have ever been to. They are very rude, inappropriate, lying and the most manipulative business out there. So here's my story: I financed a 2007 Toyota Yaris for a ridiculous price (it was my own fault, it was my first car buy and I didn't know any better). I also bought a $1595 warranty along with the car through Mayor's Auto Mall through a company called Driver'z Edge. FOUR MONTHS later, the car was no longer in my possession and I wanted to cancel the warranty. I spoke to my insurance company and they said that I could get a refund for the warranty that I never used. Perfect! I can get my money back. I went into Mayor's Auto Mall and asked for a refund, they denied and me told me that I couldn't get it back b/c I signed a contract that said there is a cancellation fee on the refund that's worth more than the warranty price. I asked for proof of documentation. Steph, one of the manager's (can't miss him-a guy with a blonde pony tail and manicured nails) kept stalling and told me the documents were locked away and I couldn't have it. So I called Driver'z Edge to demand the refund straight from the source. Driver'z Edge had NO RECORD of my contract from Mayor's Auto Mall. That means that they either never sent in my contract on purpose, and pocketed all the warranty money themselves or they just forgot to send in the contract. Either case, this is completely their fault and I DESERVE every cent of my money back. I paid them $1595 to complete a service that they did not Fulfill in their end. So duh, I deserve every cent of my money back. But of course, as conniving, wicked and evil as this company is, they did everything in their power to not give me the money. They LIED and told the warranty company that I canceled the warranty before they submitted it to them. (remember, i canceled the contract 4 months later-shouldn't Mayor Auto Mall have sent the contract WAY before the deal was made?) I caught them LYING! Then they claimed that now all of a sudden they have to send the money to the bank and not in my hands b/c I financed it. (BUT THE FINANCE WAS ALREADY ALL PAID FOR!) So DUH the check was returned back to them and now all they needed to do was write the check under my name. Except they didn't want to give it to me. I called almost every day demanding my money back but of course as wicked as they are, they never picked up and always asked for my name before forwarding me to the right person. But oh, coincidently after I mentioned my name, Steph would always be too busy every single time to talk to me. I am still a customer and as wrong as they are they have the audacity to treat me very rude, hang up on me multiple times and even said I have no life b/c I kept calling. Well obviously, if you guys stole money from me, I will call you guys in an attempt to retrieve it back....idiots. And maybe if you gave me my money...I would stop calling....but they are dumb so they did not see that correlation as clear as I did. Naturally I got upset so I decided to take legal actions and announced that I would sue them. AND OH, all of a sudden my check came in the mail 2 days later coincidently. (not a mix up at the post office b/c it was postmarked and dated) When I received the check, they SHORTED me!!!!! Another attempt to try to salvage whatever money they stole from me. I called but what can I do! They wanted nothing to do with me. So I decided to continue with the lawsuit to get back every cent of my money back. During court they claimed that the reason why they shorted me was b/c the warranty was a pro rated amount. BUT HOW CAN YOU CHARGE ME A PRO RATED AMOUNT FOR A SERVICE YOU NEVER COMPLETED?! They never sent in my warranty contract so the contract is indefinitely not valid. Kudos to you Mayor's Auto Mall for having the balls to show up at court to fight an argument that you guys were destined to lose. Justice prevails and the court ruled in my favor! So I have won the full amount AND they are forced to pay me back the court fee :) Life is good. LESSON learned....NEVER trust Mayor's Auto Mall. They are scammers and will not own up to their mistakes. By the way! I believe I tarnished their image so much they changed their store name to CITY MITSUBISHI. Be warned - the price listed on their website is NOT the true price of the vehicles. Those prices are only effective if you finance through the dealer (who knows at what cost or interest rate) I went in prepared to give them a check for full asking price listed on the ad (check was through my own private loan) and was told that if I want to buy the car that way, I would need to give them an additional $3,995!!! The ad does not state at all that this is the process to purchase the car. Nor do they state financing must be done through dealer. I even called before and asked about the price, even then I was not told about the extra cost if I wanted to buy it outright. That means the car, in effect is almost four thousand dollars more than the ad!!!! The manager George Ballas is a scam artist. He was ready to take a deposit before revealing the real truth about the difference in price. I would never do business with dishonest and deceiving people. Let me tell you how I was about to be scammed. I called and ask about the Smart Fortwo. Ask if we can check out the car and test drive it. I was greeted by Christian by the front of the door. He acted very curiosity. Show me the car and check everything out. We didn't get much time to check out the car. Since Ive done my research. I know more about it then he does. I acted I was interested. My gf and I was looking at the car and we chatted. He wanted to see get some information about me if I was interested or not. On the ad it was selling for $8888 on craigslist and on there website. This is a SCAM! Then we sat down and my gf and I we chatted he told me make a deal. kept on asking me if I want to fiance it. I wasn't interested. I wanted to pay in cash. He kept pushing me to put a down payment on if he can match it. I said I wanted to pay 9000. Obviously he matched it. But I really wanted to test drive this car. All the online dealerships are clearly marking this car an average 8200-8600. That includes doc fees and temp tags. Not including the tax. If I paid 9000 i would need to pay tax and other fees and he told me it would be 11800 in cash to buy the car. I was WTF? seriously buying cars in Northern Blvd and not able to test the car? Listen buddy its not the only smart car out there. You only have one and there are many dealers out there. If i put 9000 who knows what other fees lies ahead. he said if i fiance it. it would be 8888 straight out. im like how the bank would even make any money off of this transaction????? i can put 3000 now and pay the rest tomorrow? there is a catch. But the guy kept on pushing me to put a downpayment I wasn't interested. Kept pushing me. Good thing I had a backup plan. It wasn't interesting the colors were black on black. I didn't care. These guys are NOT SCAMMERS!! their pretty damn awesome !! Just bought a 2006 Chevy trailblazer and couldn't ask for better customer service. This is my first car purchase but it wasn't my 1st dealership that I visited trying to find the right car to suite my needs. When I arrived to Mayors Auto Mall I felt sad because I was disappointed with the lack of customer services in other dealerships, and I was tired of getting stuck with cars that I just didn't like. Steph and Christian took GREAT CARE OF ME they got me into a great car!! They explained everything with me and worked with me the whole way. I wasn't the best customer for them, I had no establish credit and wasn't putting a large down payment down but I was determined to find an SUV. I LOVE THAT THEY SAT DOWN AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING something other dealerships don't do. And to top it off I was there looking at a car that was below my price range because I was giving up hope in finding a car that I liked. My wife had pointed out this amazing Chevy Trailblazer '06 with only 24,000 miles. Leather heated seats and runs like a dream 391 HP. I thought this car would be out of league but Steph sat me down helped me a lot to get this SUV that won me and my wifes heart. I loved everyone in this dealership and am so grateful to them that my FIRST car purchase was easy educational and most of all memorable. I wasn't fed any BS everything was upfront for me to know. I wasn't pushed into some crappy car (which they don't even own BTW) but i was put in a better car at a great monthly payment. To top things off since i was going under my wifes car insurance they some how got us to switch insurance companies and SAVE us in insurance 200 dollars a month!!! If you want a great deal great customer service then the staff at Mayors is amazing! The place is shady. Hard sell + Bait and switch = Mayors Auto Mall You walk in see a car you like, they let you turn it on and take a quick look and then say "lets go do some paperwork". It's all downhill from here. "Are you here for the internet price?" Guess what? The internet price isn't the cost of the vehicle. They lie straight to your face about it too. They ask you to fill out a credit application for a loan. If you have your own financing they tell you that it's still required. They ask you how you're going to pay the first $4000. "What first $4000?" Well, the $4000 that they add on to the internet price of the car, of course! Their excuse is that the bank requires them to list the car price that way. I'll keep my story brief. Purchased a vehicle, which ended up having ALL FOUR tires completely worn out. As an average consumer, it shouldn't be expected to check that sort of a thing, because I had a reasonable expectation Mayor Auto Mall would never sell a vehicle in that condition, which is unsafe. I contacted the dealer back within 3,000 and they refused to replace the tires. Only offer they had is to split the cost of replacement with lesser quality tires. Stay far far far away. Was told I needed to secure insurance before they could tell me my car note payment. Was told I would get my deposit refunded if I decided not to take that car (still waiting). Calls are not returned for my refund but when I was calling to buy a car they were calling me nonstop. They have not responded to my yelp message. And the refund has to be requested through the sales manager! Don't waste Ur time. I came in for a car with a pre-approved loan and called a few times before going in. They told me to bring the paperwork and we will be quick. When i sat down with the salesman he said that he can try to get me a lower interest rate with this company, so i assumed he was going to call them. He takes my info and runs my credit to THREE different banks without me signing ANYTHING.... Why would i want to have my credit run when I ALREADY have a loan. They come back and the banks that they went through were not even giving as much money as I had with my loan and as much as i needed for this car. SO then they try to get me into other cars just so i use the bank that they found for me. I came in for an Infiniti, which I had enough money on my original loan for, and they were trying to sell me a KIA!!!! Why would i pay $375/mo for a kia when I could have an Infiniti?? I told them I want to use my original loan and i will even pay the $3,995 down payment because I had enough money in my loan for all of that. THEN Raz tells me that my bank is charging me an extra $3,500 as their fee. With the car price, down payment, and this extra fee I did not have enough money on my loan. He tried to get me into many diff cars and kept trying to persuade me to use their bank and get ANY other car. I later called my bank and found out that they were not charging me any extra fee. I call back Raz and told him that they were not charging me any fee, and he gets all flustered and says that that fee is their fee. So I have to pay $20,000 for the car $3,995 down payment AND $3,500 FEE??? WHAT is this fee for? He had no answer what this fee was about and then dodged my calls ever since. This place is full of scammers. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION... They will run your credit without your consent. They will lie to you about everything and charge you random "fees" and tell you its the bank. They were pushing this one bank and I feel that they were getting some sort of money to use them and it was just a TERRIBLE dealership experience. I never write reviews but I feel an obligation to alert the public of my experience! ALMOST bought a car from here. 2012 Mitsu Eclipse Spyder which is still listed up for sale by the dealership after damage has been brought to their attention. Had it checked out by my own independent mechanic before i gave them a red cent of my money or signed anything. 3 mechanics went over the entire car then brought me under the hood and pointed out all the attempted cover-ups of damage and rust consistent with flood damage. One of the reps from City Mitsubishi was standing right there, the mechanic told him to make sure to tell his boss of their findings and advised me not to purchase the vehicle. They pointed out to me that the engine block was painted recently as well as fresh black tape wrapped around the wires. They also pointed out to me rust around bolts and nuts and other components that should not have rust (remember this is 2012 with only 4500 miles on it). In their expert opinion at the very least the front end of this vehicle was submerged in water and had flood damage. They gave me a written report listing this the damage and the attempts to cover up the telltale signs of flood damage. I have to assume that the dealership knew about the damage and was hiding this information from me as well as other consumers because the damage was not noted anywhere or expressed to me whatsoever. In fact, the dealership claims under this cars listing that "Our entire inventory has passed a rigorous 160 point vehicle inspection in our Mitsubishi/Saab state of the art repair facility and passed NY State safety and emission pre-inspection". If they actually did an inspection they would have known about the attempted cover-ups of flood damage in the engine compartment. I had concerns that this car may have been a victim of Sandy prior to my arrival because of the fact that the carfax has absolutely no history on it since 5 days before Sandy hit our area here in NY. I voiced my concerns to the dealership in writing to which they responded that the car was housed in Queens and nowhere near places that were affected by Hurricane Sandy. They also told me on several different occasions that this car was returned with such low mileage because the owner moved out of the country. I AM SO GLAD THAT I HAD THE CAR INSPECTED PRIOR TO MY PURCHASE and can't stress enough how happy I am that I did not purchase a car from them!! On a side note, the owner called me after my initial review, not to apologize or to give me any sort of explanation for what had happened, he called just to threaten to sue me for liable because of the rating and review I gave letting other consumers know about my experience!! read more

This place should be shut down. The way how the manager and his employees treat the customers is pathetic. I paid $200 deposit, which I never was able to get back. After numerous calls and conversations with sales manager, I just gave up. Every time I spoke to him, he ensured me that I should see the refund on my credit card statement in the next few days. I visited the dealer on 1/2/15, in response to an Internet ad offering a 2009 Mercedes Benz E-350 station wagon for $19,795. The cars.com ad can be found at http://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/622461411/overview/ Once I was shown the car and I had given the salesperson my information, I was told that the advertised price was the amount to be financed AFTER a down payment of $2,995. A cash deal would cost even more. When I pointed out that the ad offered the auto at $19,795, I was asked to wait while the salesperson inquired. Sometime later, someone (presumably in a managerial position) introduced himself and essentially stated that the ad "should have" mentioned that the advertised price was not the cash price, but a balance to be financed after a down payment. However, the ad specifically and unequivocally states, "This vehicle may be purchased for the Internet Price amount shown." WHAT A DAMN SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I would have read these reviews before. This is my ordeal with this crooked place. I drove two hours from Philadelphia to find out that I have been SCAMMED. Im gonna keep this short and brief. I spoke with Kayle after locating the 2010 Nissan Altima with 38,000 miles for sale at 11,000. I was so excited. In order to confirm I spoke with Kaylee who explained to me that the car was for SALE. I explained to her that Im driving 2 hours from Philly. She was reassuring. She even told me to wear my Giants jersey to get 500 dollars off. I SHOULD HAVE FOLLOWED MY DAMN GUT! I arrived 12pm the next day to find out my dream car was the managers vehicle, but wait there is more. I was escorted by Steph aka (Stephanie as he calls himself) to look at the car. First of all I can tell it was not as advertised it was actually his personal car, it was filled with dog hair, the mileage reported online were inaccurate, and he made up an excuse stating that the car was purchased 10 minutes before we arrived to a "capitol one representative company." After noticing my frustrations he offered another car to me which was one of the worst cars I have ever seen in my life, then he had the nerve to tell me he would like to make a deal. OMG talk about scam. Then he had the audacity to be rude and ignorant to me stating "well its not our fault you drove two hours away we didn't know we were going to sell the car right after we opened." I suppose when you go shopping for a car you must collect information and know your facts before hand so that you do not get ripped off! I do believe that everyone should know by the time they are able to fill out their own forms, that you should always READ the fine print. I too saw the prices on the website but clicked on the brochure button and read THE ENTIRE PAGE INCLUDING THE FINE PRINT. At the bottom it reads that a 2995 deposit must be put down in addition to the price provided. Did you also know there was a $500 discount also provided on the website? DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE TALKING and putting yourself in an investment. Business is business and they have contracts they have to oblige to as well; and those cars are priced by the banks that own them initially. I had no credit and they really helped me and had such great patience with me. They gave me advice on how to build it and what I could do in order to get my first car. Sure I could've just gone to a used car place and gotten a car for 4-6 thou but my bf did that and he went through so much with that car and now hes on the bus everyday. So this time I wanted to do things the right way. Point blank is you get a test drive. get to bring your own mechanic to check the car out. get warrantied. get familiar with the car and they explained which one would be more affordable and convenient for you. Yes they won't bring up the internet discount because if you owned a business you wouldn't either in order to make more money. But they did send me a discount by mail when they were having a sale. NOW IF YOU ARE UNCERTAIN ABOUT A CAR THEN YOU DONT PUT A PAYMENT DOWN. ITS NOT LIkE THEY ARE PUTTING A GUN TO ANYONES HEAD. THEY MAkE SURE YOU ARE SURE ABOUT THE CAR AND WHATEVER DEPOSITS PLACED ARE REFUNDABLE!!! This place is full of scams. I bought a car here last year that had a "clean" carfax but the very next day I ran into issues with the car. The car also came with the pre-owned warranty so I went to the maker to see if they could help with the issues on the car and I came to find out this car had been in 2 major accidents. And somehow this never showed up on the car fax...hmmmmm!! As the weeks passed by, we find out more and more and run into even more issues with the car. We call mayors auto mall to do a clean swap for our money back and we wont cause any issues and they refused. Ended up having to get a lawyer to sue their ass because they knew about all the issues the car had and never said a word. BY LAW they are required to tell you waht issues the cars have. The only lesson I learned was that if audi didnt have this car in their stock or didnt pick it up during auction its because there is something wrong with it. Same goes for BMW, mercedez..etc. If those reputable dealers don't pick up these cars in auction its because these cars dont pass their inspection.
