Less than a year later I sold it for $100 and leased a new car from a Chrysler Jeep dealer in Flatbush. I wish I'd been smarter and not thrown $7k into the garbage. Thankfully after looking at some reviews I decided to check out ELDORADO and I met the wonderful Mark. Mark is like a kind uncle . He was patient, he was informative, and he was invested in me making the right choice for my lifestyle and my budget . He was never pushy like the typical sleazy used car salesman so I felt comfortable working with him. We found a car that worked for me and his team even handled all the dmv requirements so I didn't have to do that myself . I am so happy with my purchase . My family got a chance to meet mark as well and said if they ever are in the market for a car they would work with him in the future! I also want to note that after I bought the car I had a problem with my heat . I called mark and he was so apologetic and instantly called a mechanic who took care of it right away at no cost to me. I would advise anyone considering buying used, to seek a proper inspection at the car dealership before buying used. Do not take the people selling it on their word, as it can cost you big time. We were dumb enough to think we won't need the extended warranty. Maybe you should chip in for it. Better than being stuck with a $5000 bill I somehow have to find in the back of my couch. Like any other buyer I had questions and was looking for a good deal, which I shared from the start. Maria told me "Im wasting her time" after I said Im shopping around for the best deal. And then after finding out I went with another sales person because of a better deal, Maria told me that "going with another dealer is a slap on her face" and the cherry on top was these exact words from her "knowing this you did waste my time. I am posting this review regarding an engine replacement performed by G & A Auto Diagnostic Wheel Alignment Center Inc. that has resulted in ongoing mechanical problems, safety concerns, and unresolved financial issues. On January 24, 2026, I paid $7,067.15 for an engine replacement. Immediately after leaving the shop (within approximately 2,000 feet), the engine began backfiring and the check engine light came on. When I contacted the mechanic, I was told to "break the engine in" and informed the engine came from a junkyard with an unknown history. The next day, I discovered a significant oil leak. I reported it and was told to return the following week despite the severity of the issue. Since then, I have had to return multiple times due to persistent problems that remain unresolved. I am currently unable to drive normally without repeatedly clearing the check engine light, raising ongoing safety concerns. I was later told the engine had not been tested prior to installation, which in my view is a major deviation from standard repair practice. After all these months, the mechanic (JR Cisneros) has now presented three options: 1. Remove the engine, issue reimbursement, and allow me to source another engine for him to install, while still charging labor costs 2. Wait for the one junkyard supplier this business uses to locate a replacement engine 3. Keep the defective engine and have him rebuild it for a separate labor fee Additional issues include: * Disconnected wires hanging beneath the transmission * Incorrect battery terminal installed, creating safety risks * Flywheel sold as new but appearing old and rusted * Charges for parts that may not have been necessary, as original components were reportedly reusable * A recently purchased alternator found to be damaged after the repair Communication has been inconsistent, with limited meaningful updates despite multiple attempts to follow up. I was eventually given options not disclosed at the time of service, including engine removal with conditional reimbursement dependent on a third party, an indefinite wait for a replacement, or paying additional costs for a rebuild. As a result, I have incurred additional transportation costs and lost income opportunities due to the lack of a functioning vehicle. My request for a full refund and reimbursement remains unresolved. Based on my experience, I would advise caution when considering major engine work from this shop due to unresolved mechanical issues, lack of transparency, and ongoing safety concerns.

When I started shopping for a new used car, the process was complicated and frustrating. Most NYC…read moredealers had incredibly high small print "dealer fees," ads listed a price and in small print would note that price requires $XXXX incremental down payment, etc. Looking in the tri-state area I often found the same thing, plus there would be the added hassle of having to handle taxes and DMV stuff myself in NYS. Anyhow, I found a listing on TrueCar from these guys and the KBB value/listing was good. Easy communication via email and scheduled a test drive. Apparently they typically do wholesale, which makes me think that's why I didn't have to deal with any typical used car dealer b.s. NO hidden fees. DMV registration and plates done for me at cost -- with plates in stock onsite. Easily agreeable to having my mechanic evaluate the car before purchase. In fact, they drove it to the shop and picked it up so I didn't have to take any time off from work. When I got the evaluation from my mechanic with a list of repairs, Ultra Auto took care of them no problem pre-purchase (even before the eval, they had told me the car would be "serviced" pre-purchase). Then they detailed the car again they day I bought it. One of the repairs on the list needed to be evaluated again a couple weeks after purchase and they were able to accommodate me coming in on a weekend to take care of it quickly. It's Covid-times, so I do wish they were all wearing masks in the office even when customers aren't in there, but they were all very agreeable when I asked if they'd put them on for me (and I never had to ask again on any other visits -- can't even get my laundromat to do that). Very satisfied and will reco to friends. They have cars coming in every day, so don't just rely on what you see on their site/online listings. Give Chris or Joey a call.
