Now where this visit turns from a Five star rating to me barley wanting to give it one star is the interaction i shared with the banker i believe her name was Sana. I simply was inquiring about a spark miles card as i already have a spark cash back card and love it. This banker was so rude and dismissive to me. It really upset me because I am a dedicated capital one customer i have 3 360 accounts, a personal savings, a personal checking, a personal quick silver credit card, a business account, and a spark business cash back card. I honestly have no clue why i was being dismissed. But i went to another branch and was happily treated better , i applied for my spark miles card and i had my mom apply for her own quick silver card and my sister apply for a business card( all three of us were approved). I just felt the need to address my gripe because after my interaction with that banker I honestly wanted to take my business elsewhere. Funny enough when i went into the other branch to ask the same questions the banker offered me a seat and said, "let's take a look to see what you have". He completely turned the experience around and didn't look at me with a condescending smirk and dismiss me. The backstory is- after Covid I'm finally back to work and I deposited my check through the ATM on a Friday at this branch. Come Wednesday morning of the week after- 6days my check still has a hold on it. OK understandable for whatever personal reasons - that's my business. I also work directly across the street and have been for over a year. Ok . Calling the one 800 number in the morning they told me that the branch manager was able to lift the hold on my check and I should go for an appointment to speak with that person. On my lunch break around 130 I walked to the location and followed directions on the door to request an appointment. A seemingly polite Gentleman comes to the door with an iPad. Good grease three other customers. Then, In front of the three customers he asked me what I am there for ? Is it because I'm having trouble with the hold on my check. INAPPROPRIATE! Against the law. MIND YOU HE HAS the iPad- you know exactly why I'm there ... Absolutely insane, and it's inappropriate for you to speak to me about my account in front of other people. I was still polite. The other people dispersed inside or left and I explained to him my situation. OUTSIDE infront of the bank. Messy ... The gentleman goes inside and comes back out telling me the assistant branch manager refused to see me, and or a banker and then begins to explain to me reasons why she told him my check could possibly be on hold. OUTSIDE. I recorded the entire conversation! It was Extremely inappropriate. I also shared this with my employers they were horrified. I'm no Albert Einstein- but this came across as extremely rude and inappropriate. They briefly talked for maybe one minute about my account ( him amd who ever) and I was never even invited inside. I was waiting in the sun and talked to as if I didn't matter on a sidewalk outside my bank.
