Attempted to purchase a car with this company. Signed a deal and everything on a car they KNEW could NOT be insured in NYC. Had me sign paperwork and everything even without obtaining insurance. After 2 days of trying to get the car insured, bot parties decided it would be best to scrap the deal. Upon scrapping the deal and not finding another vehicle I liked to replace the one I was going to buy, they kept my deposit. Now this deal that was trashed was not a result of anything in my control. I wanted the car and signed the paperwork for the approved loan. They sales manager Jay told me they have had a problem with insuring this vehicle. Which means they had knowledge of the issue and still coerced me to give a $500 deposit promising the insurance would not be an issue despite all our efforts to obtain insurance... Upon them scrapping the deal and me not liking any of the car options they had left, they should return the $500 just as easily as they scrapped the deal.. These people are hustlers. He had a 'gentleman's agreement' on the offer and my husband said he would be back tomorrow (as in today) with the the full amount of the deposit! As other reviews mentioned, they're cheaters and liars as their other location in Queens (Xtreme Auto Sales). Don't expect to pay the prices you see online. Take that price and multiply by 1.35 (at least 35% higher than the shown price). They'll add Bs fees that you've never heard of with the non scumbag dealers (obviously few exist - as a group they have the worst reputation and I could see why). Find another place and don't waste your time with the "cheap prices" since they're only there to bring you in. They mean absolutely nothing, there just for the show. They think once they hook you in, they got you. Also they'll never mention these special fees if you call and ask "What are all the fees you charge?" ~ they just give you the standard fees over the phone until you're ready to buy. Pros: Nice Guys Cons: There is a $1995.47 vehicle prep fee, $395 service fee, $400 Registration fee, and $500 Doc fee plus applicable taxes. They can only go through their banks for financing and with a credit score in the 700's I was offered 5.5%. So a car that started off with a sticker price of 23,890 was going to end up costing over $34,000 after financing, even though I was putting down $12,000. Also, The details are lost in the pictures the original car I went to see had many small dents in the roof/hood. I wanted to see another car but it was in their Queens lot so we had to do all the financing paperwork before I could even look at the car. Been there twice. My first question was what are your fees on top of the price listed. I was careful since I had bad experience with other places like this one. I was told no fees at all except taxes and registration. And that is what they advertise on the website. So I ask my friend to come with me next weekend to see this 2016 camry as he knows more about cars than I do. It was listed for almost 13k. We checked it and it was nice car so we wanted to take it for a test drive. We were told first we have to fill some paperwork and talk to manager to see if we agree to the price and then they will let us drive it. First red light lit in my mind. Why wouldn't you let me drive it first? So we went to the office....In a minute the car went from almost 13,000 to 16,600 plus taxes and registration....My jaw dropped. The car would cost me almost 19,000. They lied to me saying there are no fees. I went there pre-approved from my own bank with 800 credit score, and perfect credit history, ready to take the car the same day. I was a serious buyer. I was pissed!!! I drove there from Woodhaven. I wasted my friend's time. They wasted my time. They are LIARS. They list the cars low to attract you and then rise the price thinking you are stupid. I don't care what is their response to my review. It is a false advertising and they should get fined for how they do the business! Thankfully I got my car from a private seller. This place if full of crooks and liars. Just bad customer service overall. Dealership like this is why people have such a hatred for all dealerships. I work at a dealership myself and stated that to the " sales manager" who i was dealing with (Joseph). I live in NJ so it is a far trip, i asked all the questions needed and at first the guy seemed respectful and honest. He said " there are no other fees other than a 295 doc fee, tax, and motor vehicle charge". So I made an appt, drove 1 & 1/2 hrs to NY,  filled out credit and patiently waited about 3 hours for an approval . When they finally brought me into the finance office they tried to tack on a $1995 "certification fee" to the list price. The salesman acted like he didn't know. The manager didn't do anything to make it right. They all lied straight through their teeth. I even said i would be ok with a $1400 additional charge (so just a 600 dollar difference than what they wanted) just to get the car and get out of there. But they wouldn't budge at all. Again at first the salesman, dealership, and all seemed great. Until it came time to sign papers and that's where ALL the  lies/jokes/ and bullshit came to the surface. I have never been so disrespected by a dealership and their staff before like this. BEWARE TO ALL. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. On the 28th of December 2016, our family car got damaged beyond repairs. We needed to buy another car as we had welcomed a baby girl months ago. We saw a used Audi Q7 2009 with about 93K mileage on it for about $14000 and after much deliberation, we decided that we would make that investment for a sustainable family car. The harshness of the winter weather was wearing on us. On the 2nd of January 2017 we went to the sales shop "Champion Auto sales" on 1942 Utica avenue to check out the car. We asked if we could test drive and the response was not right now, when you make the purchase. Although we thought this was odd, we figured we would be alright as they notified us that they had a 60day warranty on the car. It looked good. Tony was the fellow who processed the paper work for us. We paid $10,000 cash and financed $7,000 through their bank. we asked them if everything was fine with the car, Tony said the car had no issues, and that there was a 60day warranty on the car courtesy of their company, if we had any troubles within 60days we should bring the car to them and their service Manager whom they call Absolute (I later found his real name to be Mahmud). 3rd January 2017, my husband picked up the car after they claimed to have serviced it. 19th January 2017, as my husband was driving on the belt Parkway (New York), he heard a beep, the car would not pick up speed, and a warning sign appeared on the dash: "GEAR BOX MALFUNCTION, LIMITED FUNCTIONALITY" it read, he carefully steer the car to the side of the road, stopped, turned off the engine, and restarted it. This cleared off the signed and the car continued to function normally. We contacted the dealers immediately, they told us to bring the car in. 23rd January 2017, we took the car in and met with their Service Manager Mahmud (or Absolute as they call him) he directed us to a mechanic by their auto shop as their designated mechanic, We went there, the fellow said he couldn't do anything or diagnose what the problem was as the "check engine" light was not on. we informed the Service Manager, who took us to another Mechanic the same day on Kings Highway, The Mechanic was busy, he told us to return some other time. 25th January 2017, the same issue with the Gear box (transmission) occurred again. We called the dealers, they told us to take it to the auto repair shop on Kings Highway. 26th January 2017, we took it in, the mechanic diagnosed the issue and determined that it was a transmission problem. We called the service manager who never showed up until We called his boss. He came in after about 2hours of waiting. The mechanic explained the situation to the service manager, the service manager told him to work on it while he tries to secure the funds from his boss. The mechanic told the service manager to provide the funds before work would start on the car. We were later told to come back with the car at a later date. 28th January 2017, We took the car back to the mechanic, he told us to leave the car behind and come pick it up on the 4th of February. 4th February 2017, We called the mechanic, he said the car was not fixed as the dealers refused to come up with the repair cost as promised. This time it dawned on me that the dealers were not going to fix it, but they wanted to frustrate us into giving up. We called Mahud, he instead told us to come up with half the cash for fixing the car, or that We should get an extended warranty on it. We refused to do either, as it was their duty to honour the warranty they provided. We called the office and got through to their General Manager Adam (whose real name is Adel Attal) he asked us to come to their office. We met Adam, and expressed our disappointment in the rather shabby customer service they gave us. He apologised and promised to make good their commitment to service the issue. On the same day (the 4th February) Adel Attal AKA Adam purchased an extended warranty for the car (we are still trying to understand if this is legal). He said We should manage the car for 30 days (that's when the warranty should kick in) after which We should bring it to them, they will fix it. On the 4th of March We called Champion Autos, they instead directed us to another repair shop on Staten Island, or that We can take it to any shop of our choosing. Staten Island is quite far from Queens. Now we confirmed for sure that they were just kicking us around. 29th March 2017 2017, We took the car to Audi Lynbrook 27th March 2017, after testing they determined that the transmission needs replacement. This will cost about $6,000 to fix; the warranty only covers $1,900.00. We called Adam (Adel) MG Champion Auto Sales. He told us to bring the car to them. 4th May 2017, we picked up the car, took it to Adam at champion Auto, Adam refused to take the car in for fixing. I called the cops, Adel spins the story saying we are responsible for all charges after warranty cap. Do not buy anything here these guys are crooks. read more

The head man in charged Adam lie like a rug with ticks even after I provide him untruthful he still continue to lie by trying to charge me $2000 for a service/ maintenance fee (this is a fee that the dealer are supposed to take care of not the customer and the car was covered under a manufacturer warranty which means Adam would not have to come out of pocket for any servicing to this vehicle ) once I explained to him that there should be no cost and i called the manufacturer he then chuckled and went forward with adding on more FAKE FEES for example an $295 fee for detailing $395 administration $400 for plate $50 registration fee and $75 title fee (which one would think that these should be cover under the $395 administration fee) I educated Adam by asking him to pull out his calculator and lets do the math together and this is what we came up with Tax - 1765 $50 Title fee $25 License plate fee Total $1840 also the total price of the veh was supposed to be $21,730 (keep in mind Adam & I was doing the math together) but he wanted $23,000 because I informed him that I was approved for a $25,000 loan. After reading the reviews and the owners responses to them, I was cautious about attempting to do business with this company. However, knowing that you can't please everyone and that sometimes people just plain have communication issues, I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. Big Mistake. Here's what happened: They had a car listed online that I liked. It was priced right in line with the other models I was looking at but it had all of the options I wanted and it was the right color etc. I called them and spoke to Joseph. I asked what his best price would be. He quoted me the listed price with tags title and taxes. I explained to Joseph that I was coming from PA and would be paying cash and did not need tags etc. He said ok then I would only be responsible for the listed price. I said no problem as long as you are sure there are no hidden fees or costs that I should be aware of. I was very direct and specific about making this point because of what I had read in some of the reviews. I also didn't want to take a train to NY without making sure the deal was as agreed upon. So, I agreed to purchase the car at the advertised asking price, with the only stipulations being that it didn't have any undisclosed defect, and they would have someone pick me up from the train station. They agreed, and asked me for a copy of my drivers license so they could prepare the invoice for me to sign and send back with my deposit. They sent the invoice. It had the price of the car, $13,890. It also had more pork belly than the healthcare bill...extras were $2,495 service fee, $295 prep fee, $395 administrative fee, $75 dealer optional fee, and a $180 fee that they just added to the bottom of the invoice without even bothering to make up an excuse for! My agreed upon price of $13,890 was now $17330 after the inclusion of $3,440 of completely fabricated, undisclosed BS fees. My only saving grace is that, unlike most of their buyers who are lied to, at least I didn't travel all the way to the dealer. Bottom line is, do not buy from this dealer. If they are willing to flat out lie about the price of their cars, do you really think they are going to be honest about the condition, service, or anything else for that matter? Do not go here and most importantly do not go to Joseph. He insisted we use his insurance brokers, Jackie and Rose, who are absolute crooks. Give you zero information and steal $700 from you. He's got some scheme with them where they give insurance companies fraudulent information to get the cheapest insurance rate on the spot so he can get you right off the lot. All of a sudden, two months later, you're uninsured and there's a lapse that you had no idea about. And when you contact them they act confused and ignore all of your calls/texts/emails for days and weeks. On top of that, Joseph promised us the price it was advertised for on their website (I have screenshots) and decided to mark up the finance by $3000. We had to go back to him twice before he finally had (bs) answers that he stuttered around. Maybe we set ourselves up to be let down by trusting these guys and their word. But if you want to work with someone you CAN trust -- DO. NOT. GO. HERE. Will cost you more than what you thought you saved at the time. The responses from the owner on the reviews left on their google page should have been enough to make us not go here. Even if you're desperate, avoid this place. stay a wayyyyy from champion auto sales , i bought a 2007 , 650 i BMW on the way home my whole dash lid up like a xmas tree engine started smoking & making loud noises , next day they refused to change the car they had an other car similar that looked better , Adam the bearded ape physically threatened to throw me out while using the N word & saying we are Palestinians no 1 f--ks w/ us , price was 14 k i put down 10 k & agreed to finance the rest in low monthly payments , the crooks at this dealership tricked me & falsified the documents by putting down a minimum of 800 $ & stoke the rest , this car has been nothing but a money pit every week a needs repair & im afraid to used it , when i received my paperwork from the bank i was shocked st what i owe , i called & called l drove to the dealership numerous times all i was met with is threatening & racist comments, i reported them to the better business bureau, the NYPD , the commission of human rights, finally the transmission just died , i'm stuck with a car that won't go hi monthly payments plus insurance & the loss of 10 k for down payment the stole & lied about it , save yourselves please from these devils & nightmare, i ll be writing a review every day to warn people, you can contact me @ 646 209 6346 , i ll forward receipts of repairs & the falsification of documents they tricked me with & a video of the car that start & won't go , good day to you all read more
