He identified the issue with ease and called me to let me know the issue and how much it'd cost to fix it. He also communicated via text the entire time. When the car continue to make a noise, he allowed me to bring it back and reassured me that the noise was due to age and not because of any issue. This was nice because a lot of mechanics would invent a problem, just to get more money. I'd describe Matt as honest and helpful!! I went into Advance to buy a small part for my car (nothing serious, something cosmetic) and not only was I not greeted, but the person attending the store that day rolled his eyes at me! Oh, I'm sorry Mr. Lazypants, is my presence here hindering you from all the nothing you're doing? Anyway, I found what I needed, but I had a question about it. I wanted to compare it to a different similar product. I didn't want to ask Mr. Lazypants, but since he was the only person in the store, I didn't have much choice. Bad idea. Not only was he incredibly rude and condescending, but he didn't even answer my quesion! He didn't have the basic knowledge to answer my question, and TRUST ME I am in no way, shape, or form an expert on cars. Duly noted, Advance Auto Parts! I'll never be back to this store or any other. This store is just down the street at the intersection of Spring Grove and Kenard Avenue so it is very easy to pull into and out of the parking lot. This is where I also bought the Turtle wax rubbing compound after the bumper of my car was scratched up last year. The associates are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Sometimes I had to wait a few minutes to interact with them as they help other customers but it has been worth it. Their prices and the brand selections are reasonable. I found a set of gray valve caps here for $0.99 that perfectly matched my car. I recommend coming here for car parts & accessories big and small. Until next time be kind to each other. #yelpcincy #advanceautoparts
