A few weeks ago, my youngest daughter said she was out of the Pokeman Lip Cream. Well, she told me this after I came back from Las Vegas LOL. So, I had to seek out the lip cream elsewhere that is closer to home. Luckily, there is a Shibuyala in Temple City, CA. YAY! So here I am... what a fun + colorful place to find cosmetics and beauty stuff! The lady staff was super nice and lovely. I didn't waste any time. I asked and I shall receive. The lady knew exactly what I was looking for. She led me to the lip creams immediately. I bought 3 of them. They are $11 a pop... a bit pricey, but hey, our lips deserve tender loving care, too. My daughter was very pleased and so was I. We now don't have to wait until our next Las Vegas trip to get amazing & moisturizing lips LOL. Funny, I was informed this shop has been here for over 10 years LOL. I guess if you don't look, you won't find. I will be back from here on out now that I know they are in So Cal. Let's all beautify today!

They also have another Shibuyala location in Rowland Heights, but I personally prefer the Arcadia location inside the mall. It's well organized, easy to browse, and there's plenty of parking around the mall, which makes shopping even more convenient. Be warned--you'll probably walk out with more than you planned to buy! Instead of acknowledging their mistakes and taking responsibility, they made false statements about what happened in an apparent attempt to protect themselves. Good customer service requires fairness, accountability, and honesty, none of which I experienced in this situation.

Recently, we went on the last week of August 2026. There weren't really a lot of customers, it was just me and my Mom and another Mother and daughter too. I noticed that the workers keep on following us. During this visit my Mom brought her walker too even though she's fairly young, it's been hard to navigate the store because of how narrow it is, so she takes her time walking. This worker kept on following us, I noticed it at first but brushed it off but towards when we were about to make a purchase, my Mom noticed it too because they had been clearly being noticeable. They're not following the other mother and daughter. Just us. We should've just left the ones we added in our cart but this is a lesson, we will never come back because of that experience, it was very uncomfortable and it made us feel like they're thinking if we're gonna steal their $5 stuffs or what. There should be a 0 here.

It was easy to spot with a bright, hot pink banner in front (picture below). Perhaps this banner wasn't here before when others commented on the difficulty. She double checked my products to the order slip in front of me to verify. I almost walked out with an extra 9 masks if we hadn't checked- would have been oh no for imomoko, but yay for my skin. The girl on the phone said the shipping charge would be credited back via payment method or can be used as store credit. I would like to confirm which is going to happen. I asked the other lady in person about getting shipping refunded. We'll see. She didn't quite know what to say to me as she wasn't fluent in English... So I'll be emailing. Otherwise an overall good experience. A few things were out of stock so until next time!

I placed an order 3 weeks ago. The tracking information they provided was invalid. The package was somehow routed to my old address (which was fine, my ex-landlord was totally willing to sign/collect it for me) and WAS NEVER RECEIVED. I emailed them only for them to find out that the package had been lost. They asked ME to file a claim with the courier and told ME to wait for another 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS as the courier investigated into the matter. I mean, WTF, why should I, a customer, be made to wait/get involved in what's obviously between the seller and their courier. Throughout the correspondence, they didn't mention a single word regarding a possibly more prompt solution: refund or replacement. Their customer service lacks professionalism and honestly sucks ass. You're fine until you run into issues like mine.

My friends always recommend Laneige, but never had the chance to actually go to an Amore store until yesterday. While my aunt shopped for her Sulwhasoo products (both makeup and skincare), I browsed through their multiple Laneige lines that include their basic skincare line, brightening/whitening, water line for hydration, radiance, and the likes. The hydration section caught my eye since I'm a sucker for hydrated, supple skin. The sales associated was very informative, and told me about each line, it's usage, and what each product's purpose is. She never pushed me to buy anything. Rather, she informed and insisted that I take a few samples if I'm still deciding. As I was still deciding, I turned around and saw their whitening line. Recently, I've been really obsessed with the color of my skin and been avoiding the sun as much as possible. I was told that Laneige's whitening line is new. It didn't help that they had cute packaging either. I ended up getting their whitening serum, which came with a mini travel size day serum, face cream, eye cream, and toner. As promised, the sales associate gave me samples of products I was eyeing earlier: one that melts blackheads and a mask. She gave me 7 samples! SEVEN! I definitely liked that they weren't stingy with samples. Also, make sure to sign up for their membership. Every dollar spent is a point added to your account. You get 100 points free on your first purchase. After accumulating 300 points, you get a $10 discount! Winning Y^___^Y

So I walked up and ask as a courtesy if they were open to shop. Just so I don't think it's open to shop when it's a day of inventory or something. Lady at the register was super rude. I wanted to make sure.and she proceeds to say again very rudely and condescending "Door is open! You don't see door open?" The other lady by the clothes answered nicely by saying it was open. I walked over to the nail polishes only to realize I didn't want to support a business where someone can answer a question so rudely especially when the approach was not rude at all.
