The only reason I'm giving this place one star is because the server was good.. I've been here numerous times over the past 10 years. Very disappointed with what I saw last night. First you walk in not to be greeted. You have have to walk into the dinning room until a sever acknowledges there is someone standing there. This place is run down. Table cloths were stained with old red wine stains. Wall paper pealing. Floors dirty. The Food. We both ordered from the specials menu. Salad Average but fresh. The appetizer a warm portobello mushroom slapped on plate with sauce and cheese barley melted. Dinner. Surprisingly my husbands skirt steak which came out a rib eye was cooked to order and tasty. The pasta dish I ordered. Was poor. Was suppose to come with broccoli Rabe and sausage garlic and oil. Mostly uncooked garlic the broccoli Rabe was hardly present not mention chopped into tiny pieces and the stems where brownish yellow Gross. Then we ordered dessert. Salted Carmel Ice cream with Hot Fudge. We ended up with vanilla Ice Cream melted on a plate with fudge. I have been a server/bartender in the industry for many years. I don't like putting up bad reviews.. But this was a pretty bad experience. The Olive Garden has better food. read more

Went Friday night for dinner. I had chicken parm. It was inedible!! Very thin chicken cutlet that was so tough you couldn't cut it!! When you did saw thru it it wasn't white, it was gray!! Both hubby and one of our friends had pork chop special. They didn't like their entree either!! The food here went down hill after they got new owners a few years ago but it is still decent and inexpensive. A plus is that you can bring your own wine. I find that the dishes, while still good, have less flavor then they used to, which is disappointing. They also used to have really good bread, which has been replaced with something considerably less appealing. It is a good deal for the price though. read more

This place needs a visit from the folks at Restaurant Impossible. The place is a tacky dump and looks like it needs to be cleaned The food was marginal at best. I went with my entire family and everything they served us was stale. The bruschetta was like cardboard and the mozzarella sticks tasted of reused oil. They had clearly prepared food in advance and heated it in a microwave. Maybe because we went for the early bird special (parents over 70 and kids under 10). Still, my stomach hurt all evening. This place is always awesome. I have been coming here for probably 15 years. Really nice people. Huge portions. Great prices. Really nice waiters. The only thing I don't understand is the fish tank - it attracts children and its really annoying to have them huddled around your table when you are trying to enjoy a meal. Had a Groupon for Que Pasta so we decided to go tonight. Have heard pretty good reviews and I/we enjoyed our meal but service was poor. First the good, We had the grilled calamari lightly breaded,drizzled with balsamic as an appetizer, and that was delicious! Cooked perfectly and tasty with the balsamic. For dinner I had the gnocchi special with slices of steak and mushrooms in a gravy sauce. Once again, did not disappoint! Right on point. Gnocchi just right. Dad had a chicken dish with spinach, mozzarella, potatoes and some veggies. And He thoroughly enjoyed his dish! But Unfortunately our server completely forgot about us once the entrees were served. Never checked on us and after waiting awhile I called on another server for more ice tea and then again for a dessert menu. At this point this other server seemed to be annoyed that I kept calling him over so he yelled at our original server that we wanted to order dessert. And when I ordered the fruit tart he told me they were out of it so I asked for the chocolate strawberry shortcake only to be told that they were out of it and that the chef had just made the fruit tart I originally wanted. So I had the fruit tart and enjoyed it immensely but it was quite cold, meaning it was probably in the fridge for a while.... They have been around for years.. Use to go all the time when I worked in the area.. I would always get the grilled chicken salad.. it was always fresh and delicious. Since moving out of the area I kinda forgot about this place until a groupon came up.. I ordered the sampler ravioli.. It was cooked to perfection and the sauce was tasty.. my husband had the chicken parm and it was very good! Service was great.. and the place was packed...We will definitely be back! read more

This used to be our "go to" BYOB place when we didn't feel like cooking. The pasta is fresh and any sauce you choose is delicious...especially their vodka sauce and their creamy pesto sauce. My favorite meal is the Chicken Florentine which I get almost every time I am there. We are also always very satisfied with their house salad and rice balls. We haven't been in a while because it is no longer BYOB, which is a huge bummer for us because you just can't beat a great quality BYOB place. We often used their party rooms to hold special occasions, bridal showers, baptisms, rehearsal dinners, etc. because it was BYOB. Always satisfied with the service and the warm atmosphere. read more

The Waiter was completely "disheartened" and lost interest once we told him that we have a Groupon to use. I have been to your restaurant without a groupon and have always seen that the portions are very good. However, yesterday it was a complete disaster - even the portions were compromised. When asking for a check we were lied upon to "increase" our order since we have not met the minimum. When the check came in of course we had met the minimum but the owner and waiter just wanted to get an extra sale out from us. Owners - This is not good business practice. If you do not prefer your clients use Groupon then please do not advertise with them. I felt i was ripped off yesterday and still had to leave with a smiling face cause the waiter was probably just following his orders. Not Fair. read more

My boyfriend and I went here two weeks ago. We were sat next to the staff station at a small table. Our waiter had a very thick Spanish accent, which made it difficult to understand what he was saying. Ordered the buffalo calamari as a appetizer. It was bland and the blue cheese had an odd taste and consistency. My boyfriend ordered the country chicken and said the chicken was a little dry, but it was a good dish. I ordered the cheese raviolis in vodka sauce. My food came out extremely cold. They were quick in heating up my order. It had no flavor. I could have made it better at home with frozen raviolis. Went on a Sunday. Two of us ordered the stuffed chicken Genoa. Wow...i have never eaten chicken so dry in my life, definitely not fresh and reheated. Also tasted and smelled like it had been in the microwave. My friend didn't even touch it. When we told the waiter his response was "well you ate most of it". Yes i ate a few pieces because i was hungry and i would never ask for a different dish, but to be honest i should have gone down the street to Burger King. Pasta dishes were ok, But that chicken, wow. If i wanted leftovers i would have eaten at home. What a shame. read more

Just held an event there Saturday and I wanted to share my opinion with everyone. Everything was amazing . The owners were fabulous, food was beyond delicious, and staff was very attentive. Worth every penny. I will definitely be hosting more events there in the future. read more

Recently went here for the first time, and I would definitely go back! The penne vodka was delicious, and portions were generous. The service was quick and friendly, and the dining area was cute and very clean. Parking isn't the greatest, but that was honestly my only gripe. Great place for a pasta meal. Parties here are good and reasonable too. The pasta is homemade and their vodka sauce is good too. Their alfredo sauce is not good at all- fyi. When I worked in saddle brook, we would always order lunch from here and the food is okay nothing special that I would go crazy for.

Nice little Italian restaurant decently priced and with a good rustic unassuming atmosphere. The seafood risotto was excellent, slightly buttery but yet light and with TONS of shrimp and scallops plus superb taste. Great value. Was in the area for work the past few months and had a recommendation to come here for dinner. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and food. Everything is made fresh (pasta, sauces, and pasta fillings) and is easily some of the best Italian food I have eaten. Had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners on a few different occasions at the bar and he was down to earth and made me and my coworkers feel welcome. I ordered the steak cortidina it was disgusting . the beef tasted old and it tasted reheated and a week old. My husband had the alfredo pasta he liked it. I told the server the beef was disgusting . service was good food was not so much. if you charge 20 dollars a plate for a dish make sure its good. Love this place but the new menu left something to be desired. The sole came swimming in a buttery sauce and had no taste. It came with one (yes one) brussels sprout also tasteless. This place gets an automatic five stars from me for making my favorite pasta dish my favorite way. I lived in Paris and grew quite fond of Pasta Carbonara. In almost any European country, this involves a raw egg cracked on top. Completely raw. Most places in the US won't do it, even though I promise not to sue them should anything go wrong (and nothing ever has.). But these guys did it, even though they found it strange! So much love to a place that indulges my European nourishment sensibilities. read more

I'm extremely disappointed in my dining experience. We were seated immediately, which was the most positive thing I can say about the entire dining experience. We then waited about 15 minutes before someone even came to the table to take our drink order and waited about another 15 minutes to come back with the drinks. The alcoholic beverages tasted horrible and had to be replaced. The replacement drinks weren't any better than the first. We then waited an extremely long time for them to come out with our meals, which came out one at a time. What was even more disappointing was that my poor daughter's meal didn't come out at all. We had a hard time even getting the server back to the table to tell him the meal was missing. How do they forget a child's meal! They did a superb job doing a private dinner party for my large group. In their banquet (?) room. Food was very delicious, and they could not have been more accommodating in allowing us to select our dishes and also guiding us. Very flexible and a pleasure to deal with. Service was very good on-site too. And everyone loved the food. Sadly this was after a funeral at Riverside Cemetery, but a great post-funeral gathering spot. I love coming here on Sundays for lunch or dinner. During lunch, it's pretty empty except trees always some sort of baby shower or something in the private rooms. The pasta isn't the cheapest but that's because they use quality ingredients. I've sat there an ordered 3 appetizers instead of an entree. Italian nachos, stuffed clams, and the calamari are awesome! I came here with a living social voucher. In my experience you get treated differently (worse) when a restaurant knows you have a coupon but here they still gave me excellent service. Very cute setting and atmosphere, nice for a date or for family. The food was great, nice sized portions and delicious. Lots of menu options and they have family style options as well.
