I have been going twice a week because I absolutely love their coffee and the food that they serve.It is a little bit on the expensive side, but taste wise.It has all been delicious. Today, however, while I was waiting for my food, I watched as the gentleman in the kitchen handled. Everybody's food with no gloves on. Coffee is garbage. Baristas think they know everything but, they don't. Always somebody different in there and the personalities are horrendous. How do you not talk to your customers when they're waiting for their drink? The owners don't know how to run a coffee shop. This is a cash grab. One of my pain points is when businesses fail to have reasonable processes to show that they care about their customer's experiences. I ate in the area and wanted a quick iced coffee before driving away. Quarry Coffee didn't have a long line at the drive thru. And I could see through the window, that they weren't busy inside either. There was only one car ahead of me at the drive thru order area. After I ordered my black iced coffee, I pulled ahead and that car was at the drive thru window. From the time that I pulled up behind the one car, I waited 10 minutes. If you're primarily a coffee place, and coffee is right in Quarry's name, it shouldn't take 10 minutes to get somebody their coffee once they're second from the window. If somebody has an order that's going to take a long time, you tell them to pull into a parking spot so you can get the line moving. That's pretty much industry standard at this point. My black iced coffee was average, but I will never order through the Quarry drive thru again. read more

This was my first visit, I initially stopped at Quarry Coffee for a cup of coffee and decided to order a bagel as well using the drive thru. My visit was on a Friday morning around 10:30, in my opinion I thought after the typical morning coffee rush. However, from time of ordering until I picked up my order was close to 10 minutes which is quite a bit of time to wait with only 4 cars in front me. I thought maybe they could of been short staffed but as I sat parked in the drive thru I saw multiple employees milling about inside. The employee that swiped my credit card in her hand held device was pleasant. As for the actual coffee and bagel, both we're a miss. The coffee was incorrect which was disappointing and I ended up not drinking it, so that was wasted $$. As for the everything bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese, it was ok. I wouldn't order it again as it wasn't what I'm normally familiar with. The bagel itself was on the smaller side & toasted. The veggie cream cheese had an unusual sweet taste (maybe from the roasting of the vegetables) and a Mayo like pale consistency, not a typical cream cheese and not cut in half like most bagel sandwiches. After reading multiple other Yelp reviews (unfortunately after the fact) the drive thru appears to be their Achilles' heel. If we decide to stop in again, I would opt to maybe go inside and give it a try & try some other items. read more

Went to Quarry coffee for the first time the other day. We didn't go into the store since we used the drive-thru instead. Quarry is in a very busy plaza so it is a perfect spot for a coffee shop. We got an iced chai with almond milk, a strawberry mango refresher, a scone, and a breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich was really good. They used a fresh egg and the bread was great. The sandwich was a little on the expensive side at around $8.00. I don't know how frequently I'll be able to get it, but it was good. The scone was really good and so was the refresher. The iced chai was no bad, but I personally like my chai with a bit more spice behind it. I would stop by again if I was in the area. Would love to try more things on their menu! read more

I have been wanting to try Quarry Coffee since they opened and finally made it. It did not disappoint. I stopped there for lunch and ordered a Blood Orange Cold Brew tea with their Curry Vegetable Wrap and quinoa salad. The had a strong, bright and tart orange flavor, very refreshing, and not sweet. Besides being delicious, the tea color was eye catching. One of the things that made me attractive to Quarry Coffee was that they had many vegetarian & vegan options. Unique flavors and fun takes on classics, that it was hard for me to decide as they all sound very delicious. I got the Curry Vegetable Wrap that came with a side and I chose their quinoa salad. The wrap was warm, very packed with chickpeas, tomatoes, seasonal veggies and tasty pickled onions. The side of quinoa salad was a generous helping as I'm used to the typical deli cup size sides (if you know, you know.) I to was able to ask for a to-go container because the meal was filling I couldn't finish it. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I ate in the restaurant which I really enjoyed the vibe. There are very large windows with that brought in so much natural light. Surprisingly, the dining space is rather large with different types of seating for couples, groups or if someone wanted to work there. I wish Quarry Coffee was closer to me because I could see myself being a regular. Maybe someday they will expand? I would love to return to try their coffee offering and breakfast. read more

I wanted a lunch choice, someone else wanted a breakfast choice, and the third person didn't know what they wanted to eat. So I called ahead and the staff stated they served breakfast choices all day long. The food was very good as well as the coffee choices. Like everyone in Oxford, we'd been waiting forever for this to finally open and made a point to go twice in the first week or so they were open, once for breakfast, once for lunch. For breakfast I got the Lumberjack sandwich which was good, but the waffle biscuit was not durable enough to hold up to the hot sandwich and fell apart. Good idea but they execution needs some work. For lunch I had the Fried Chicken Sandwich and the potato salad. Sandwich was excellent, but needed more sauce or even a second sauce. Also the pickles were bread and butter not dill. Potato salad can be risky if it's not homemade but it was actually very good. Also had a PB&J cookie which was excellent. Don't go into this expecting a cheap breakfast bakery as the prices were high for that and the bakery items looked very eh. I think of it more as a fast casual breakfast/lunch spot and it definitely fits, especially with it having a drive through. Excited to see what they keep doing. read more

Today Is my first time visiting this establishment. I walk in, look around, and it's clean, open, modern, great vibe, natural light everywhere, people actually sitting in very mid century styled very modern seating. People having conversations and enjoying themselves. If you're sitting here to eat or enjoy a beverage they will bring the food or beverage to you. I can't stress enough how clean this place is. Their menu has many options and loads of favorites for all. Even gluten-free bread options. Typical scones and muffins, I'm sure they are made fresh daily. They didn't have the "bought" look. Did I mention clean? I ordered an Americano and an item that is not on the menu. I asked if they could make me two eggs over medium on an English muffin open-faced with a slice of cheese on each side. Now that's not on the menu. The very friendly maybe 19/20 year old young woman said, "absolutely." She was very friendly, sweet, kind, all that mushy stuff rolled into a great employee. I know businesses are struggling to get employees to run their businesses, but this one is a gem. She's equal to ten basic employees. I sat down on a bench, super comfortable and waited for my number to be called, but nope, it was brought by a slender young man with long brown/blond-ish hair who was wearing a baseball cap with the company logo in it. He was quick and efficient. Brought my food two minutes later. Even came to clean up the table after I was finished. I was in shock. I am not sure if this is regular service or these employees go over and beyond, but I was impressed. I will definitely come back here again. I can see bringing my family and enjoying my time. They even have outdoor seating and I'm sure when they have their massive double wide and very tall glass garage door open (the coolest trend for modern restaurants) it's probably a great vibe and super inviting experience. We stumbled upon Quarry Coffee quite accidentally. What a great find! It's been a while since we were in Oxford, so I'm not quite sure how new this shopping plaza is. The area is beautiful and clean with plenty of parking. Quarry Coffee offers indoor and outdoor seating. It was a warm but slightly windy morning so our son decided on eating out on the patio. We ordered off of the menu on the wall. It's setup where you order and pay at the front and pick up toward the back. My husband ordered the avocado toast, our son had a toasted bagel with cream cheese and I ordered The Country; a ham egg and cheese sandwich with sautéed peppers and onions on a challah roll. I think my husband was most happy about being able to order his decaf iced coffee. Our meals were ready super fast. Presentation was nice. The customer service at drive thru is very polite, takes the time to hear customers order, and overall attentive. The breakfast sandwiches and french toast bites were good, but slight greasy. The drinks were lemonade and pina colada-not so great. We give them 5 stars for excellent customer service, 3 stars on the sandwiches, and one star for the drinks. Went back again because I had such a good experience the 1st time. My coffee was fine but my chocolate croissant hardly had any chocolate. My mom's hot cocoa was lukewarm and her muffin was so dry it fell apart when she bit into it. For the prices they charge, I expected better. I've tried so hard to like it here & given many chances (ordered different things each time) but if you are any kind of coffee connoisseur THIS PLACE IS NOT IT. The coffee is absolutely disgusting--which is REALLY hard to do-- I LOVE coffee & have been to hundreds of coffee shops in my day so I can confidently say: Quarry Coffee is the absolute worst. If you have no tastebuds & don't know what good coffee is then maybe give it a try. To make things worse, the customer service is horrendous-- the other day I ordered a coconut latte online then went to pick it up and took one sip & got a mouth full of chemically artificial sweetener (with absolutely no trace of coconut flavor). I grimaced and tried to give it a chance with a few more sips but eventually it was so bad (& also over $7) that I had to go back. When I brought it back and explained to the person behind the counter that it tasted like aspartame or artificial sweetener he looked me dead in the face/expressionless, said nothing & began examining the syrups behind the counter than told me "it has stevia in it-- because it's sugarfree" (note: I did not order sugarfree). When I asked if he could make me something else he begrudgingly said "what do you want?" (looked annoyed as hell) & grabbed a SMALLER cup (I had ordered & paid for a large) and made my request, handed it to me with no words and a horrible attitude (like I was bothering HIM even though my PAID for coffee was made incorrectly). I don't know but maybe if a business has terrible coffee then at least have excellent customer service as a trade off but this place unfortunately has the worst of the worst all around. I am a espresso fanatic and I love trying new coffee spots. This was my first time at Quarry Coffee and they had a banana chocolate specialty latte that immediately caught my eye so I ordered it as-is but with oat milk. It was strong and the flavors were spot on, I especially appreciated it not being overly sweet. I paired it with their pumpkin cheesecake overnight oats which was amazing. It was so fresh and delicious, and packed with cheesecake flavor without being overpowering. The girl who took our order was so sweet and we ended up talking about all of the local fall festivals with her. She made it such a welcoming environment. While we took it to-go, there was a ton of seating available, inside and out so I definitely can't wait to go back once the fall weather hits! read more

Service- my first visit to quarry was very positive! Kind cashier and very helpful. So when I was in the area, I returned. Unfortunately, it was at the end of the day because of an interview. I tried to call on my way to Oxford (around 1) but was forwarded to voicemail. When I went in a half hour before close, I was able to order and get suggestions from the cashier. I paid (& tipped keep in mind) and the boy continued with "just so you know we close soon so you have about 20 minutes" (there were other people sitting inside actively eating & as a server myself, I found it quite rude). I understand people coming in near closing can be difficult but never in all my years have I heard an employee insinuate that they cannot stay. Food- first time: split the steak sandwich and turkey avocado- both very good. Second time: the wrap was delicious, got the same turkey avocado. Drink: snickers latte first time: delicious & amazing. Cinnamon latte/dulce de leche(?): very bitter and un-flavorful. Learned my lesson I guess, can't come here later in the day & can't call ahead either.. read more

My wife and I went to lunch at Quarry Coffee on a Saturday. They have a nice selection of coffee, breakfast and lunch options. I ordered the turkey club and my wife ordered the squash salad. There is a dining area with tables for two and four and a bartop area that spans the glass facing out to the parking lot. The restaurant has an echo to it and causes it to be loud. They call out your ticket number when your meal is ready and you have to go and get it at the window. My turkey club was very good, the turkey was moist and the bacon was plentiful and very smoky, which I enjoyed. The only negatives was that there was way to much mayo and the bread to meat, bacon and veggie ratio was off, in favor of the bread. My wife's salad was very good. Fresh veggies, perfect amount of dressing, and the squash was a delicious twist on a salad. Over all, I would go back to try breakfast and a coffee. If I got the club again I would ask for mayo on the side. read more

All of this, but they turn around the stupid iPad screen and expect an 18-20-25% tip?? What is the tip for? Somebody gets a huge tip for needing to be asked to do their job and clean the table? A sit-down and waited-on restaurant sized tip to not be checked on throughout the meal once? This is a fundamental problem with lots of modern restaurants. Waiters and waitresses get a "standard" tip before even having to do anything and aren't incentivized to provide service. All of this could be overlooked if the food was better, but it was good and not great or excellent. read more

Stopped at the New Quarry Coffee Co in Oxford, llate this morning to grab something to eat. Parking was ample, restaurant clean and stylish. They weren't serving off the lunch menu today. So, I ordered a breakfast sandwich and iced peach tea. Cashier was polite and service was very fast. Egg, Bacon and Cheese Sandwich was generous with ingredients, and very tasty. First of all, the customer service was amazing. 10/10. Our coffees were brought out so quickly and so were our açai bowls, which were amazing. One of the girls working at the front answered my questions about the ingredients in the açaí bowls, since I have a nut allergy. She brought over the bag and showed me the ingredients. One of the other girls was so quick to clean up coffee I spilled, and overall everybody was extremely nice. Definitely recommend coming here! :) read more

Waited 10min and then got called to the counter and told that they had just closed down their expresso machine and would I take something else? Why take my order if you won't fill it? And why does it take more than 10 min to make a simple cappuccino? Plus the girl just had a very annoyed attitude and even more so when I didn't want to take something else. I hope they can get a little more efficient and a little more customer oriented. People are only going to go to an upscale coffee place if they feel they are getting something unique and good service.
