It's icy and refreshing with a sweet coconut flavor and just the right amount of matcha! The cafe itself is pretty big and spacious, but it can get really packed and seats can be scarce at times. If you plan to study here, I'd recommend getting here a little earlier in the day to grab a good spot. The AC is okay, but I've noticed it can get pretty warm around the corners and edges of the cafe. There's a parking lot and bathrooms which is always a plus! They also have a kiosk to order or you can order regularly at the counter. The workers have always been really nice too! Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to, especially for the Triple Coconut Matcha!

They are located in the same plaza as Brodard, Vox Kitchen, Rol Handbar, etc. in Fountain Valley. This location is open later than the other Airoma. They use ceremonial matcha which makes a huge difference. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte (74% sweet) after trying one previously in LA. I paid and waited for my order to be ready. After a few minutes, I received my order. I shook it up and tried it. Delicious! Even better than I remembered. My husband who doesn't usually enjoy matcha, tried it and liked it. He does not dig the earthy taste, but this drink changed his perspective. Airoma made my husband a believer in matcha. We do not usually go out too often for matcha, but when I'm in the mood next, this place will be a must visit. I'll have to try their egg coffee in the future too.

And service was very quick. There's very minimal seating on the left hand side of where you order. I wouldn't say this is the ideal shop to work in and hang out and chat, but that's fine.

It was pretty long, but it only took about 10 minutes to place our order. Now onto the drinks! I really enjoyed both the pandan matcha and blueberry matcha. You can actually taste the pandan and blueberry flavors in each drink without completely overpowering the matcha. I was a little sad to see that the prices went up by 50 cents, but I do appreciate that the drinks are pretty large for the price, probably around 20-24 oz. He repeated himself twice and staff nodded but then proceeded to make this crap instead - pandan and milk at full sweetness. Please reeducate your freaking staff. My husband told them TWICE to correct our order that we had PAID for and they still couldn't get it right. Its frustrating as he had to wait in line and waste his time because of their incompetence. The Jasmine Oolong Jelly was a lot denser than I imagined, kind of like the texture of a rainbow jelly (but not as bouncy), but it was still pretty delicious! The overall flavors were pretty good for a boba drink. I was initially intrigued by their durian coffee, but their tea here is actually pretty good. Not sure how their coffee is here, but will definitely try next time if in the mood for coffee! Also the cups here are pretty cute!
