He was transparent, describing in detail what areas of my property he thought would be more of a challenge to clean thoroughly, but was confident the house would be much cleaner when he was done...and he was right. On the day of the job, John arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule and was accommodating with our alternate side / street parking situation (this being Sunnyside). He and his assistant worked quickly and the results were stunning. In particular, our driveway, sidewalks and front steps are cleaner than we've ever seen them. Effectiveness: They probably got 20% of the grime off my brick house before telling me it was not possible to get it any cleaner. I have to believe that a company that does this routinely could have given me a heads up that the "textured brick" or whatever could have made cleaning impossible. On the sections that did get clean, e.g. bluestone elements, there are uneven spray patterns indicating that they didn't attempt to do everything they could. Overpriced because I paid the agreed price for way less than the agreed upon service. Somehow they also brought a social media guy out with a whole camera rig to film themselves _not_ getting my house clean, which was pretty funny.

He came out and took a look at let me know that my particular situation didn't require his services, but he did let me know exactly what needed to be done to solve the problem. I don't know anything about this sort of stuff so he could have easily taken advantage of my ignorance. If I ever do have another problem, Mike will be my first call, and I would recommend him to anyone else who asks.

Then he recommended a plumber (Mazzone) that would fix one facet of the whole issue. After the owner of the plumbing company came out and fixed what he needed to quickly and at a very reasonable price the worker from Arid came out to view the final phase of my problem. Patrick (the owner) gave me an appointment for his workers to install a sump pump. The first pictures are of the check valve portion of the project. The second picture is an extension installed by Mazzone to my check valve two feet below my basement floor. The third set of pictures are from the completed job by Arid. The workers from Arid were very polite and worked quickly and very effectively with a great deal of carefulness for my home and living spaces. I completely recommend both these companies for any waterproofing projects you may find that you need.

I had water damage to one of my room upstairs due to a radiator leak. I wasn't sure if we needed to do just the 1 room or the whole upstairs since the wood is all connected. When I had spoken to him on the phone he said there may be a slightly different color if we do just the one room. So before he came out, I asked if he can get us both quotes. He came out when I wasn't home but my wife was. He didn't measure anything. Look at the room where the damage was and left. He didn't look at the rest of the upstairs. I didn't get a message for him so I texted him. He gave me a quote for the one room. I asked, do you have a quote for how much it would be for the whole upstairs. He said he didn't look at the other room upstairs. I described the size of the other room upstairs and he texted back with a quote. I asked if you can send me in writing the 2 quotes. He said he has to charge me $150 for the quotes. Then I said, "What? Why?" He never responded. Just in case he didn't see it, I text him again the next day. He didn't respond again. Extremely disappointed with him and his lack of response.

Their pricing was very competitive, and the quality of work exceeded expectations. They did thorough prep work, including power washing the entire house along with scraping and sanding where needed. They also applied primer where appropriate and finished with two coats of Benjamin Moore paint, which really shows in the final result.
