Couple of…read moremonths later we noticed our 1 gutter splashing out water - like a waterfall - during a heavy rain storm. We called them to replace it. The old one was just your "run of the mill" gutter and figured that is what they would replace it with. Very pleasantly surprised with the job they did (attaching a photo). What a difference! This year we decided to try out their Power-Washing- and again were very happy. The guys were here for a good 3 hours and worked the whole time. They cleaned the house, garage, and deck- as well as our front steps (cannot believe the difference- wish I had a before and after photo). Had the gutters cleaned at the same time - and since we had it done early (during March) they even did that for free. Needless to say--will be using them again.

I recently had A1 Gutters and Roofing replace my roof, and I couldn't be happier with the results…read more I found them online and got quotes from six different contractors, but I didn't choose A1 because they were the cheapest -- I chose them because of their thoroughness and professionalism. Before starting the job, they conducted a detailed evaluation of the roof and did the same once the work was complete, to make sure everything was done right from start to finish. They also brought in a licensed electrician to properly disconnect and reinstall my solar panels, and thoroughly tested them afterward to confirm everything was working correctly. In addition to the roof, they rebuilt my chimney and installed beautiful new 6" gutters -- the whole property looks fantastic. What really stood out was how flexible and fair they were during negotiations. We worked together to agree on a contract that worked for both of us, including a 50-year extended material warranty and a 25-year workmanship warranty. On top of that, they went above and beyond and threw in an extra item as a gift, which I really wasn't expecting. A1 Gutters and Roofing is professional, skilled, and honest from start to finish. I highly recommend them -- give them a call; you won't be disappointed!

With so many roofers and contractors in existence it's difficult to find one that can do the work…read morein a competent and reliable manner. One may expect such work to be costly, but so be it. A1 Gutter and Roofing in Garfield, NJ is no exception. So too have we heard and, perhaps, experienced some dishonesty among this lot. So it is significant when one discovers a contractor who is legit, trustworthy, and highly professional. Having to replace an entire roof including structural repairs of its wooden beams, new insulation, and re-bricking of the upper portion of the chimney was a major undertaking. The entire project took two weeks. It's impossible to describe just how well this job was accomplished. Picture may do it some justice. Overall, this customer is pleased beyond measure. What a relief!

When they visited to back up their warranty they continue to say they found no seams issue that needed repair however, I went up to my roof and found it immediately!. This leaked was never there before they fully replaced my roof. DO NOT USE DONERITE!! The new roof was so badly patched together it was bound to have leaks again. Instead of using a solid piece of rubber they continuously applied mini patches and with adhesion issues. I to paid for mold and drywall repair and pay my tenant for damages!
