Quality Plumbing, we appreciate you. Nick fixed problems with our loo. He came, he saw, and was equipped. The pipe was cleared with a chainsaw whip. When our pipe was clogged - we were stuck. We couldn't flush - what the $#%&!? Then, the clogged-up toilet came and went. Thank you, Nick. You're worth every cent. We highly recommend quality plumbing...especially if you are in NW Seattle. We were able to get an appointment quick and they sent out a plumbing veteran which we needed for our old 1940-something house. Some of our plumbing was new and some still old...which can be a challenge for some guys out there. Our guy, Nick, had obviously seen it all. He was in and out quickly and very respectful of our space. If you can, I'd ask for him by name. You won't be disappointed. 10 stars, hands down.

Possible solutions

They charge 250 dollars for the first hour. That's significantly higher than 175 dollars from Simple Plumber. If you can, try Simple Plumber first. But that's not the reason for this one star review. The plumper found that a screw was loose, and tightened it. The faucet was then fixed. It was done in under 2 minutes. However, we still got charged 250 dollars plus 25.25 dollars of tax. Sure, this was what we had agreed on, but that's not my experience with how companies typically take care of their customers. Not even a 1% discount? Plumbing Tip: if your single handle faucet leaks at the base, check if the screw at the hose is tightened. That's where we spent 275.25 on today. I hope no one else has to spend this much money for such an unpleasant experience.

In the finished basement again. Garage had pipes running on ceiling as well.

Quality Plumbing it is not. One star is too generous. This plumbing company was referred to my wife's 96 year old aunt by Home Owner's Club. Apparently they work together to fleece the elderly. They came in to re-pipe the house as her galvanized pipes were plugged. What they did after a week was leave her with a house not completely plumbed. They anchored the supply pipe on the outside of the walls and ceilings. They abandoned plumbing to a shower and sink. Charged about $7000 for this. I wouldn't think what they did would pass inspection but I'm sure they didn't get an inspection. I would not have ever imagined someone running water supply lines on the outside of finished walls. Just a few pics showing the lack of professionalism of this companies work. It only took them a week and $7000 to do this abomination! I wonder what it will cost to fix it. Three months after the job was done my wife's aunt passed away and this was left for the new owners of the house to deal with. So if you like your plumbing supply lines on the outside of the walls and ceilings so that you know where they are then Quality Plumbing is the company for you. Otherwise I say go somewhere else.

No complaints - got here in a very timely manner and got it taken care of - it's the kind of service I expect. J0NATR0N recommends it.

Really appreciate that they regularly keep you updated and are very responsive. They even send you a picture of the person who's coming out to do your job - a very nice safety feature. This was my first time hiring 2 Sons Plumbing & Sewer. I picked them due to their immediate…read moreavailability, flexibility for doing two separate plumbing jobs on one visit, and positive reviews on Yelp. The work I needed done was the installation of a 50-gal electric hot water heater (plus haul away of the old one) and the diagnosis/replacement of a corroded waste line connector for a garbage disposal. When I set up my appointment, I made sure to clarify that I wasn't going to be charged for the service visit, or additionally, for any diagnostic steps. Keep this in mind if you're considering them because it's probably a better idea to go with a plumbing company that won't charge you just to come out and physically look at the work you want done. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry, not because something was broken, but due to the fact that completing the work quickly was pivotal to getting a condo sale to the finish line. I was able to schedule my appointment for as early as Monday despite making the initial contact with 2 Sons Plumbing on Thursday (they could've come sooner, but I opted to avoid the extra "rush" or weekend fees by waiting until Monday). One thing I didn't like about their business model is there's no upfront cost for general jobs (i.e., install a hot water heater) or any idea of hourly charges. For instance, with Lowe's and/or Home Depot, I could call and get quotes for this type of work from their subcontractors. Going through Fast Water Heater (Lowe's preferred subcontractor), a 50-gal water heater installation might run between $2,200 and $2,400 depending on the model of hot water heater (the purchase of which is included in the quote). I ended up buying a new water heater from Home Depot ($871 after taxes) a couple of days prior to my appointment with 2 Sons Plumbing, and hauling it up a few flights of stairs to the condo in order to save money. I would later find out that, had I bought the 50-gal electric water heater carried in the back of the 2 Sons Plumbing Truck, it would've cost $3600 (I have no idea why it was this expensive). In the end, I paid 2 Sons Plumbing $1870 after taxes for the installation of the Home Depot Water Heater and haul-away of my old one ($2700+ if you include the price of the hot water heater I bought on my own). In addition to the hot water heater install, I ended up paying for a new garbage disposal plus its installation because the corrosion in the waste line was so bad that new parts were needed (which they didn't have). It made more sense to just replace the whole thing (current garbage disposal was 10+ years old)--This came out to $786.88 after taxes and a 3% convenience fee for using a credit card. Overall, it was a good experience thanks to the knowledge/prep work I had done for 2 Sons Plumbing before going with them. The final cost to me certainly had the potential to be much higher had I let 2 Sons Plumbing provide or do everything. The job took about 6 hours to complete, and I paid in the ballpark of $2500 for the hourly rates (?) plus the purchase of a basic garbage disposal and a minuscule amount of parts. I overheard that the general hourly rate is $400, so what I paid aligns with that. The amount of contact and post-job follow up documentation I received (emails; texts; invoices; etc.) was thorough but also annoying (I.e., solicitation for reviews). All things considered, here's how I'd rate things: Availability/Communication: 5/5 Cost: 2/5 Technician: 5/5 Invoice/Follow-up: 3/5

I…read moreended up calling Bee's Plumbing as U had chatted with one of their employees in the recent past. As this wasn't an emergency, the dispslatcher said it would be today or tomorrow before a plumber would be sent. He was sent today. Sean called and arrived early afternoon and looked at the repair. He presented us three options and solid estimates. We chose the middle one and then decided to also ask about a toilet replacement. Again, Sean presented us options and we agreed to one He gave us. As he didn't have the toilet on his repair truck, Bee's dispatched an employee with a new toilet. Sean was very professional in his work, answering questions as he proceeded with the work. He mentioned a couple of things that needed replacing due to their aging. We agreed to have them replaced. When Sean presented the invoice, it was exactly as he stated. At no time did he try to "upsell" items were didn't need, unlike other plumbing firms in this area that are heavy TV advertisers. I would recommend Bee's Plumbing to anyone that ask! Thank you, Sean! And, thanks to your employer for all they have taught you, in not only the aspects of plumbing but also in customer service!

They repeatedly said this is only an attempt to repair. While they did say I that I didn't have to choose any options, they stood there creating a pressure situation. I picked the tub sealing option since it seemed most straight forward, again with no guarantee of fixing the leak. I asked why a tub caulking would be ~$900, and the technician began to oversell the difficulty of the job and the "high quality" sealant they would use. I approved the quote with that belief, only to see they did the job in 40 minutes and used a caulk that I could have bought in Lowes for $5. I've asked their management for a review and have been stonewalled. I had higher expectations for Bee's Plumbing given the reviews and referrals but left very disappointed. I've attached the caulk, tub caulking and contract from Bee's to show what happened. Would you pay $900 for this?

Next, I bought a 1931 home that was a rental. It had deferred maintenance. And the inspection report told me I would need to make some plumbing fixes. I had them replace all the tub/shower faucets and valves. I also got a new tub drain (there was evidence that at some point there had been a leak). I got a new water shut off. A new copper water line for the fridge. A new basement utility sink. New water connection to the washer. A new p-trap to the bathroom sink. I learned that the best faucets are Moen. Garrett and Abe are a great team. I do feel like Jafco is more expensive than if you hire a local one-person plumber. That might be to cover their marketing and scheduling. But Jafco can fit your in pretty quickly. So that is a nice trade-off for when your plumbing job is time sensitive.
