MOST construction projects hit some sort of issues and my project was no exception, I'm explaining this because it's when the problems get hard that you really see the true colors of a company and their leadership. Rob followed through with my project when the project got complicated and tough, I learned that Rob is a leader and will stand by what he says and that is the kind of company that you want to do business with when your spending big money digging holes and lining your side sewer. All of the employees that I interacted with were competent and they were all professional. The work they did had some parts that other sewer lining companies weren't even sure they could do. Pro Sewer's finished product was tidy and done to the contract terms. If you are collecting a couple bids for side sewer work, MAKE SURE YOU CALL PRO SEWER as one of your bids!

Rob and crew developed a plan, competitively priced it, forecast a time schedule, and then accomplished what is most important: He did exactly what he said he would do! I recommend Rob and his team to anyone who wants a quality job done with a professional group that DELIVERS.

Next, I bought a 1931 home that was a rental. It had deferred maintenance. And the inspection report told me I would need to make some plumbing fixes. I had them replace all the tub/shower faucets and valves. I also got a new tub drain (there was evidence that at some point there had been a leak). I got a new water shut off. A new copper water line for the fridge. A new basement utility sink. New water connection to the washer. A new p-trap to the bathroom sink. I learned that the best faucets are Moen. Garrett and Abe are a great team. I do feel like Jafco is more expensive than if you hire a local one-person plumber. That might be to cover their marketing and scheduling. But Jafco can fit your in pretty quickly. So that is a nice trade-off for when your plumbing job is time sensitive.

He provided 2 estimates - one with more work to make everything look nicer and one with just the basics. We had other companies come out as well and I inquired about a PRV that another company offered (at MUCH higher quotes) and Dakota worked with me to add the PRV to the basic quote at a great price. Very professional and the team completed everything in 2 days as promised. My highest recommendations!

We called Mr. Rooter Plumbing because our water heater pilot wouldn't stay lit. After doing some…read moreresearch, I figured it was probably the igniter or thermocouple, but I didn't want to mess with it myself. My wife scheduled a free service call, knowing of course there would be a catch. The next day, a tech named Tom (goes by "Tommy") showed up. Within 5 minutes of looking at the unit, he told us the entire water heater had to be replaced--for $2,500. On top of that, he claimed the pan and placement didn't meet code and insisted it needed to be reinstalled 18 inches off the ground, which would cost another $2,000. That's a total of $4,300 plus tax. When my wife called me to discuss, I tried speaking with him directly, but he constantly talked over me and wouldn't listen. That was enough for me; I told him thanks but we'll be taking our business elsewhere. We ended up ordering a brand-new water heater through Home Depot. With installation by Fast Water Heater, it cost us $1,800 plus tax. It was done the next day, and everything passed city code exactly where the old one sat. I don't think everyone at Mr. Rooter operates like Mr Tommy, but my experience felt like a sales pitch disguised as a service call. Instead of actually diagnosing the issue, it was straight to an overpriced replacement and scare tactics about code compliance. The customer service was rude, and the upselling was not ethical. Do yourself a favor and get quotes from other vendors before signing with Mr. Rooter.

With that said, I raised my review up to 5 stars after I reached out to the manager, Danny, Danny said he would talk to the plumbers about that in thier next meeting and also made the price better. I like that they did something about all the issues. Btw, Danny offered to replace the toliet hose but I was satisfied that he'll bring it up in their meeting. Kudos to Mr Rooter. I'll use them going forward.
