This past trip I was able to get into the Factory on a weekday rather close to their opening (8:00am). I was able to get my car in within three minutes of arriving and was out in under 15 minutes total. I also want to shout out Harvey B. who has been working at this location for years now. He always does a good, quick inspection and let's you know if there is anything going on with your vehicle. Ended up paying a bit over $23 but that is due to a $10 window tinting fee so even the price is comparable to anywhere else. I can say with 100% certainty that this is the only place I will continue to go to for my inspections. 5 Inspected Stars out of 5!

I showed up with a second car for the day to get inspected at 4:51pm and was turned away. There was no cars in the bays, and one guy checking out. I have a Tesla which they "inspect" in literally 2 minutes. The black man with the Afro fuss the BALLS off me about how he don't do inspections after 4:45pm. Totally uncalled for. I took a pic of a sign that the owner has up stating to call him with issues. There's others reviews up here mentions this same issue. Time to fix this issue Owners! If you stop inspecting at 4:45pm, make that your new closing time

Shame on me. I waited until last minute (literally) to get my car inspected. The first two…read moreinspection stations I was familiar with were both closed on Saturday so I found this location and didn't have much of an alternative. The staff were very friendly and got my car in and out pretty quickly overall. I picked up that the same employees helping with the vehicles also run the front desk so if you don't have some reasonable amount of patience than this is not the place for you. Unfortunately, during the inspection they pointed out to me where one of my tires was severely worn (wires showing) on the inner portion from more than likely an alignment issue and would not pass inspection. The vulnerable area did not take well to the lifting and lowering of my car, split, and began leaking air at an exponential rate. The employees were very kind in recommending a place right down the road that sold discount tires. However, since I had my car previously serviced multiple times prior at the dealership we opted to take it here instead. The employees allowed me to park my car in their lot to wait for a tow truck. As the two truck was going to take a minimum of three hours I opted to have them put on the spare tire instead so I could drive myself to the dealership. They were able to get my car back into the bay in rather quickly to swap out the tires. The dealership strikes again! Bought my car certified used with an apparent spare with a nail in it so that too wasn't holding air. The employees kindly plugged the spare, recommended staying off the highway, and provided me directions from my current location to the dealership I was headed. My entire adventure at this station was around two hours and the employees were all very helpful and accommodating throughout my unpleasant debacle. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone with vehicle repair/auto shop needs!

This review is only for the inspection center…read more This place gets the job done, quick and easy. No appointment is necessary - you can just drive up and the attendant will ask for your registration, and then will take your car into the garage for an inspection. I've been to other places that take 30-60 minutes, even with an appointment (most of which is waiting). I've always been finished in less than 15 minutes here (if I have to wait behind someone else) - but usually less than 10 minutes. The $30 fee is standard for an NC inspection, but I'm glad to report that I haven't been upcharged for a simple fix like replacing a light. I've come here twice during COVID - the attendants wore masks and sanitized their hands between cars. They didn't wear gloves, but I wiped down my steering wheel, etc. afterwards anyways. It's also all outdoors - the indoor seating area is closed off due to COVID. Thankfully, I found some shade to stand in while waiting, and since it only took less than 10 minutes, it was not a big inconvenience at all. Since I found this place out a few years ago, I've been coming here exclusively for my car inspections and have been very happy with their service.

Every time I have been impressed with their professionalism and their quality work. When I needed both catalytic converters replaced on my car, I called several auto repair and muffler shops. Most said they wouldn't do the work on my car, and many quoted prices just slightly under what my dealer would charge. I finally called JR and they quoted me a much more reasonable price. I wanted to make sure they fully understood what I needed, as the other places made it seem like replacing the catalytic converters was some daunting task, but they told me it was no big deal and to bring it in. I bought my cats online, and they were happy to replace the parts and only charged me for labor. Afterwards, my check engine light went off, and all was good with my car. I've brought mine and my wife's car to JR's a few other times, and I've always been happy with the work. They are very welcoming, and do not pressure you into doing any unnecessary work. I would recommend JR Auto Repair to anyone who wants great customer service, quality work, and fair prices.

Very disappointing this company lied to my face & charged me for a service they didn't even provide. Will not be returning, very disappointing. Adding more since I just removed my cabin air filter. I also paid for my filters to be replaced, & judging by these pictures taken TODAY, these were not changed when I came in. I'm in absolute utter disbelief. Wish I could give a negative star review.
