Just Inspections is not trying to nickel and dime you, or schedule more "needed work". They simply give you a fair inspection. *****RACIST ESTABLISHMENT**** Went to get an inspection. Thomas was who "greeted" me. He was rude and had an attitude from the beginning. At the End of the inspection he told me I failed because of my windshield wipers. Ok no big deal but I already knew from his attitude that it would get worse. Asked him to show me what was wrong with them and he refused. I at no time asked for anything from him but that. I was then told that "BLACK PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS WANTING THE HOOK UP AND I DEAL WITH THIS ALL THE TIME". I was FLOORED and couldn't even believe what I was hearing from him. I Called and spoke with the manager the next day and was told that they will look into it By Sal the manager. If he isn't fired then I will take my recording of Thomas saying this and make them go viral. No one should have to deal with blatant racism while getting an inspection or at ANYTIME in their lives. The technician, Thomas, is very disrespectful. I have been getting my car inspected for 6 years never failed for tint that was on my car when I purchased it. When my husband and I tried to ask questions he told my husband you know you been getting hooked up Bro we don't do that around here. If we had someone hooking us up why we would we have come there to get an inspection. Thomas is very unprofessional. If you decide to go here, in which, I won't be returning don't let Thomas do your inspection unless you are prepared to be disrespected. Every where that I called was booked a week out for inspections. Just inspections does inspections with no appointments. When I went there was no line and I was in and out in 10 minutes. When looking at the reviews, I'm very confused why this business only has a 3 star rating. Inspections are required by the state, and each business has to follow strict regulations and guidelines. If you fail an inspection, it should not be a fault of the inspection center. read more

Got there and the dude there was already mad for some reason and decided to take it out on me... I was just there for an inspection not to talk to a child. Service was poor and didn't even get my inspection done and left to another place. I understand things happen in life but to take it out on someone who is just trying to knock an errand out is not the way. read more

This place is low & sketch. Wouldn't suggest coming here if you have a sports car or a coupe, especially in North Carolina. They take pleasure in purposefully failing people. The shop 10 mins down will pass with the same tools used on the car. read more

I went in for an inspection and informed the male technician that my car is registered in Nash County and that I couldn't find my current registration card but its still active. Nash County does safety inspections only. He said that it wouldnt be a problem and that they could look it up.When they completed my car the female technician said that I owed $30 for emissions and safety inspection. I told her that my car is registered in Nash County. She told me that state laws says she has to charge me for emissions as well because I didn't have the card. My typical inspection place was closed so I went here. At first, it was quick and easy and the lady at the front was nice. However, once I sat down, I overheard a man negatively talking about myself, the truck, and how it is poorly taken care of through the shop door. It is a 1996 C1500, it is 27 years old, and it is daily driven, good paint, minimal rust, no engine problems, I'd say it's doing alright for an old truck owned by a full time student with very little money to work with. My truck rightfully failed the tire check and parking light check. But was also failed for play in steering, which is not ideal but daily drivable, and for a "dim" passenger headlight. I drive this truck 60-70 mph down the highway with ease, the play in the steering has been the same since I bought it and passed two recent inspections since 2020, yet was failed by this man. The man presented my failed inspection in a quick worded fashion speaking as if he was annoyed or had a bad day. I understand why I failed inspection for the tires and parking light. But the overall experience was bad and picky, especially hearing them talking through the shop door, maybe he had a bad day or was trying to impress his coworker. Do not suggest going if you have 25+ year old truck, because as we owners know, places like this will treat you as an annoyance, take your money and always find a way to fail you if your truck is not perfect. read more

don't bring your car if there are any slight problem they can bring up and deny approving, almost every person there had to get something fix or redone then come back, no matter how small the issue was. They are nice people however, just way too strict read more

At first, I was irritated. I failed an inspection and swore to never return. But then, after thinking it over I realized something. These people are in a tight spot, they want happy customers which means pass everyone no matter what. But then, they can get a huge penalty for passing a car the state says shouldn't pass. So what are they supposed to do?! They get no money from failing you or I, and risk losing a customer. They have a job to do, but they are fair. If your car has an issue, it will fail so don't be all :( just go get it fixed, and come back. This is a good location, and I recommend you give them a try. read more

I went here 2 times recently- the first was uneventful, they failed my truck and advised some work needed to be done. OK, No big deal. Going back I had the worst customer service experience I've ever had anywhere. First while I waited in the parking lot to be flagged to one of 3 lanes and a male attendant came out to my truck and told me I was "blocking the parking lot" (nothing was happening out there), I advised I was waiting to be flagged to a lane, to which the attendant complained that I "made him walk all the way out into the hot parking lot" (some people have it rough). He was extremely rude and it was honestly uncalled for, I have been to many garages and have never encountered an attendant that was so rude. Then when checking me out they gave me a no pass/no fail because the computer had been reset. Again, Ok, no big deal. The female attendant advised me that I needed both sets of papers to get re inspected- but when I go back out to the truck I do not see my inspection papers which I had left on the dash. Went back inside to wait for the people to ask where the papers were, the female said on the dash- which they weren't. But then she offered to help find them- she asked the rude gentleman, who said he left them on the dash, and then proceeded to complain to the female about how I had "made him walk in the hot parking lot and blocked traffic" then the rude gentleman proceeded to tell me that I "need to move my truck because I am blocking the lane" instead of helping locate the papers- although the female attendant did find them. The female attendant seemed somewhat helpful- but frazzled and rushed, and the rude gentleman was just... unpleasant all around. This was hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had and will probably be paying another garage $30 to inspect my truck rather than bring it back here even though I've already paid. I've been to lots of garages and this is by far the worst. Rude unhelpful attendants, literally complaining about having to walk 20ft into the sun, when they could have waved me in. I guess they know they don't need to be courteous because you only get inspected once a year. What a miserable place. read more

First time going here. I went during my lunch break, no wait at all. Inspection probably only took 10-15 minutes total. The staff was friendly. Location was close to work and convenient. From the time I signed out at work to the time I got back was less than half an hour and had time leftover for lunch. read more
