We stayed in room 403 for 1 night after a day trip to a nearby renaissance faire. The room was clean & the bed super comfy, we did have a few issues There was no hand soap or even a dish for it in the bathroom, there wasn't any instructions on how to call the lobby on the phone so we had to go downstairs to the reception desk to get some, there was a however a squeeze type bottle of lotion on the wall next to the mirror- I wonder if that was supposed to be soap instead of lotion. There was some sort of what looked like salt along the bottom of the window in the bedroom, the same window needs a good cleaning. The outdated couch has a HUGE 6 inch obvious rip in the cushion where the stuffing is coming out, super tacky. I would have been embarrassed if that was my house & someone saw it, at least try to hide it! The bed is so far away from the tv that you can't watch it while lying in bed. We've stayed here multiple times, and while the building is older with a few quirks, the staff--especially Meghan at the front desk--are what keep us coming back. Meghan is always friendly, personable, and goes above and beyond to make sure we're taken care of, even when things aren't running perfectly. Her attitude and attention to detail truly stand out. For the most place, I stay here was OK. The room is a little dated and some things are out of Repair. The handheld shower bracket was broken in a disabled room and it was difficult for me to take a shower because the other showerhead hippie in the center of the chest. Also, the chairs were way too low for a disabled room. I had a very, very difficult time getting up out of them. The equinus of the room was acceptable, but nothing special. There were still little areas that were quite dirty. I would see All at all this room does not meet the cost for value. Very basic hotel. Old building with a dank smell in the hallways and rooms. Staff was robotic and impersonal. The "upgraded suite" (which I didn't ask for) was weird...just an alcove with another bed and side tables but no windows and no accessible electrical outlets for phone chargers. Sheets are papery. Loud arguing and cussing in a nearby room late into the night. Hot complementary breakfast was good but they ran out of things and took a long time to replace on a busy Saturday morning. We stayed four nights. We had a suite. Nice large area with room to move around. Room charges varied from $108 to $134. Worth more around $85 a night. Small reception area. Very crowded breakfast area. Two mornings we gave up and left to find breakfast elsewhere. Very poor internet connection, maybe because we were on the 4th floor. No maid service, so had 4 days worth of towels laying on the floor. No grab bar in the tub/shower area. Worn, uncomfortable sofa. read more

Between the barking dog, the folks who were sharing the wall with us and their obnoxiously loud conversations at 1 am, 2 am, and dog bone dropping on the floor above us from 1 am - 3 am and my favorite part of the night, 2 am, a car pulling into the parking lot at 2 am blasting Latin music. Great Basic Stay! SITREP My main choice for an inexpensive, yet clean stay when up in Seattle to visit me mum. THE SETUP This Quality Inns & Suites is only a few miles away from my mom's place. When Covid hit, my mom's senior residential facility no longer allowed over nite visitors. And so my very inexpensive option of crashing on her couch was no longer open to me. Enter Quality Inn & Suites! At a cost of usually on $75/night for a 2-3 night weekend stay, it fit my needs and budget while visiting me mum. GREAT WORKING AMENITIES * I had a nice mini-fridge; * 2 times I had a microwave, 1 time I didn't * The TV was compatible - via my HDMI cable - to stream from my laptop. During Covid, I would pick my mom up and she's campout in my room with me during the day, and we'd just watch movies in additional to driving around and sightseeing through Seattle. We had no problems. But we were there less than 12 hours. We checked in at 9pm on Saturday night, and the front desk manager was friendly, and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was perfect. Continental breakfast is available, but we didn't. Coffee is available and we did. We didn't spend time roaming the neighborhood or eating at the local diners. We needed a good nights sleep. Got it and left. I was here during my initial days at Boeing and it was great service. Our room was noisy so they gave us a free upgrade. You request breakfast and they prepare it for you the next morning based on what you want. I woke up at 3am for work and they only allowed me to pick the cold stuff which is better than spending money on breakfast at work. The breakfast is delicious by the way. If they had suites with a kitchen then I'd totally stay long term. read more

Looking at other reviews it's clear I'm not the only one who has had a horrific experience at this dump. Interestingly, the reviews on the Choice Hotels website tell a different story. PLEASE go elsewhere. They did put me in another room after I showed them a video of their window molding coming apart making for a noisy room on a busy street. Not only is the property run down, at least for my stay last week, they couldn't cover the basics like having a working toilet and housekeeping. I wanted to move out for night three. Since the manager was not around to OK me leaving, I assumed I'd be paying for the dump AND another hotel so I chose to suck it up. This is not a high-end property and I understand that things can just go bad. The manager did call me and I suggested they comp one night. That seemed reasonable, but it was something he would not do. I then just told him to make whatever adjustment he felt was fair, which he said he would do that day. American Express then notified me of multiple "card not present" charges. Since I was also charged for the three nights I stayed. It appeared I was being double billed by the Hotel from Hell. After surviving the Hotel from Hell, NOW I need to waste more time dealing with American Express on these charges. I wanted to explain to Choice corporate why I've disputed these charges. I spent 30 minutes waiting in the morning for customer service and gave up. In the afternoon I spent 20 minutes waiting in the afternoon and ultimately talked with Dina, with Choice Hotels support in the Philippines. (Of course, I was multi-tasking, working while on hold.) When checking in the attendant stated that the fold out couch was new it wasnt and was very uncomfortable. The hotel was fully booked and the was not enough parking for everyone. The room that I paid for said iui t would accommodate 5 with a roll away bed and when I asked about it the attendant stated that it was against fire code and we couldnt have a roll away if that is true then it needs to be fixed on your website to state it is only for 4 people. It was very warm in the hallways and where you have breakfast please fix this. Our room keys didnt want to work we had to go to the front desk several times. In the rooms that have the king suite should have a TV where the bed is. The outlets by the bed behind the side table didnt work so I had to plug in my phone on the other side of the room and lay it on the floor. read more

I knew I was not going to have luxury based on the rate we paid per night, but really was hoping for a little more cleanliness. Stayed a weekend night here while visiting family. Staff was super friendly and the reception area was nice and clean, unfortunately my bedding wasn't. After our first night, the next morning I noticed my dbl bed duvet cover had a hard substance on it. I called the front desk and housekeeping was there immediately. They offered to change the bedding on both dbl beds which was greatly appreciated. I then asked if the duvet covers were washed/changed after every guest checked-out and was advised that they were not. Please note that these were simple machine washable duvet covers, not heavy bedspreads. Bathroom is nice sized and has a lot of counter space, which I love. Carpets looked like they could use a nice steam cleaning. Breakfast area was very clean and the options were plentiful. Loved that we really couldn't hear any of our neighbors or outside noise. It was super cold that weekend so we had the heater on through out the night and it was pretty loud. Breakfast was included and there were lots of options: make it yourself waffles, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, sausage, whole fruit, cereal, juices and coffee. The sitting area had many tables and was very clean. Unfortunately, due to the bedding policy, I probably would not stay here again. read more

The first 2 hours were a great stay. Then was a little put off by the harassment we recieved from the staff. Specifically Lindsay. We had a few friends over and made sure to check and see if we were breaking any rules. And we were informed that nothing we were doing was of any disturbance but they made it aware that they didnt want traffic in and out of the room. Although I never had any traffic and when I ask they say no theres no traffic this is just a heads up just in case it happens... Then I ask today to extend my stay. Cause I reserved 5 days. And wanted to add 3. And they day they can't accommodate me anymore due to unknown circumstances. And just so happens the manager is out at the moment.. And yet they say I have been told 3 times to have my guests check in at the front desk and cause they didn't today I'm in trouble I guess... I honestly didn't have a problem with anything here until the emoloyee Lindsay started to harass me on the first day. And we did nothing but spend a good amount of money here. Not even call the front desk to order anything. Not asking for towels. Literally the most quiet kept to self guests. And yet they have a problem with me.. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. They need to be retrained on guest etiquette and how to creat a good rapport with guests.... Cause even tho they can't accomidate me, I wouldn't choose this hotel ever again due to the sole fact that they profiled me and wrote me off before they even gave me a chance.. We use to live 3 miles down the street, but sold our house. However, when we travel back to this area for errands/appointments, we choose to stay here. Online rates are cheaper. We had the Executive Suite for less than $100/nt that included taxes. Separate bedroom, couch, seat with ottoman, 2 work takes, coffee table, small refrigerator (no freezer, but on this trip that was ok), MW, dresser, good sized bathroom (sink/counter inside bathroom). We did not hear any I-5 traffic. No view (construction all around), but we were never there except to relax in evening and sleep. Family room downstairs with good breakfast. It's a bit disconnected, but they are going to remodel to move the reception desk and remove walls to enlarge the family room to be more functional. No pool, but have business area with 2 computers, and workout room. Espresso stand in parking lot, restaurant across the street. Eateries on other side of I-5, can walk to or drive. read more

Area looked decent for a Quality Inn, there were no other hotels available in our price range so it was the only option. Guy at the desk claimed to not have our reservation despite pulling up our name and everything. Finally got in our room and it was filthy, hair everywhere and there was food in the fridge and microwave. Cleaning gals came up and were kinda rude, I'm fluent in Spanish so everything they thought we couldn't understand did not go over my head and it made me feel like it was too much to ask for a clean room, like we were inconveniencing them. Ive worked as a house and business cleaner part time since I was 13 so I know the standards and I know it can be annoying when clients have complaints but it's the nature of the job. Went out to dinner and came back and someone was clearly smoking weed, I'm a college student I've lived in dorms I know the difference between someone smoking outside and the smell lingering and actual smoking in progress. You can smell when someone's lighting up it smells different and I'm allergic to smoke so we called the front to tell them about it since it's a no smoking hotel and he was so rude. We went down to speak to him and he sarcastically said he "pressed his nose against every door and no one was smoking." They also have air wick plug-ins in every bathroom and I'm extremely allergic to scents and have severe asthma. Overall, not a great experience and this was only in the first three hours. Super disappointing because the hotel seemed to have decent reviews for the location and price range. Can barely stand to be here, but I did have some fun on the toilet listening to the very loud music coming through the bathroom vents. read more

I stayed here one night and won't do it again. Terribly outdated facility. What I noticed: no card entry to building, tiny breakfast room for the number of guests, no darkening curtains to block out street light on building outside room, the heaters in the room are as loud as old Subaru, the fridge froze ALL of our food, and the elevator is....unhappy. I saw by the price that I wasn't going to have a 2000 era facility, it's all the same in the dark. But it wasn't as safe as it could be and it didn't get dark because of the damn sheer curtains. read more

I used to frequent this hotel often when traveling to the Seattle/Everett area and gave it 4 stars IN THE PAST. I'm guessing management must have changed and now this hotel is just way below subpar. The newbies updated the outdated TV's and did a makeover on the sidewalk entrance on the back side of the building. Even the front desk personnel changed (for the worse), but I'm not interested in the new outside circular brick sidewalk or new flat screen TVs. I need a quiet, clean room & bathroom, a comfortable, clean mattress & inen, a good WIFI connection & efficient, courteous employees. Unfortunately, none of those things exist at this hotel anymore. It's gone way, way downhill...the bottom of hill. After my last stay nightmarish stay here I swore to myself I'd never stay here again. First off I was given a room card key that did not work. Three card keys and 20 minutes later I'm still standing in the hallway trying to enter my room when guests that checked in long after me are entering their rooms w/no problem. It turns out my room already belonged to another guest who was in the room all the time I was trying to get in. Management upgraded my room to an executive suite however, this was far from a plus. I almost slipped on the bathroom floor due to an slick, oily film covering the tiles. There was jet black hair in the bathroom sink (I'm blonde). The towels are the tiniest towels Ive ever seen and only slightly larger than an average sized hand towel. The carpet was heavily soiled and felt sticky with bare feet. When I opened the drapes I got a face full of flying dust. When it came time to get online there was no WIFI. By now I'm really pissed. When I called the front desk about the nonexistent WIFI the clerk replied "No one else has complained". The "complimentary breakfast" is also a joke. The food is reheated convenience store type food. Yuk. I definitely can't recommend this hotel to anyone. For around $20 more there is an exceptional, well maintained and super clean hotel (5 stars) down the road at 128th...HIE. My stay here was flawless to start my girlfreind and kid came over the staff was good but accused girlfreind of smoking in the room, I have not smoked for 35 years upon checking out they charged my card 279.50 for smoking in the room this did not happen. I've called only to get a voice mail Take your chance on a place that sees someone smoking outside now they assume that you smoke and are charging. They made an ass out of them. read more

We booked a room here because my son had a football camp near by. We enjoyed our stay here. Our room had 1 King and 2 queen beds for $120 a night. Taxes included. The room that we were in was nice and clean. The outside looked a little dated. The lobby and breakfast area is small but nice. Breakfast was pretty good. The hotel certainly served our needs without much in the way of bells not whistles. The upside is its nice and close to the highway aaaand offers a breakfast. WITH WAFFLES. The building had a bit of a musty, wet smell to it which I hardly noticed...but was apparent nonetheless. Front desk was nice and helpful in our search for whale watching locations up north. On Monday the front desk clerk cleaned out my personal checking account when he mistakenly billed the entire week to my debit card instead of holing it for incidentals. We used Expedia to book a room for two on the 26th of July. The website had malfunctioned, which caused the booking to advance to August 5th instead. I immediately caught the error and contacted Expedia. The representative from Expedia was very helpful and.stated the cancellation had been confirmed. Monday July 30th, the charge for the room had posted anyhow. Called Expedia yet again, and they confirmed on their end the cancellation. From Monday on it has been a nightmare trying to actually speak with the manager of the Everett Quality Inn. We have called corporate twice, only to be told it is at the manager's discretion or Expedia needs to issue a refund. This is outright theft, considering we paid for services not received. No mention of a future credit with hotel, no apologie, no customer satisfaction. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and writing other reviews elsewhere. read more

We found DOG POOP in a "newly renovated" room when my THREE YEAR OLD picked it up!! I brought it to the front desk employee's attention, and she called the manager on duty. I explained the situation and even showed them the situation. How the manager responded made me feel like I was being made out to be a liar. She asked if she could see it and I told her I threw it away. There is a sign in the bathroom that states "Making your stay a complete success is our goal. Just let our Manager on Duty or front desk know if any part of your stay isn't satisfactory. We promise to make it right or you won't pay for that part of your stay." She said there's nothing they could do because I booked through Expedia. She literally handed us three "goodie bags" with a bottle of water and a snack size bag of chips. THAT IS NOT MAKING IT RIGHT. MY THREE YEAR OLD PICKED UP DOG POOP!! What else wasn't cleaned?? I'm fuming and this has put a dent in my first family vacation. I responded by digging the dog poop out of the garbage (with a tissue, of course) and put it in a plastic cup and set it on the front desk. read more

We were traveling up for my Grandmother's funeral Friday evening 8/2 and called to get a room. Spoke with the gal at the front desk and she let us know that there was 1 room left and that the only deal we could get on the room was a $20 savings...I know right???? We went ahead and stayed since it was our only option and it was late. We got into our room and the beds were hard as a rock and the room had an interesting smell. Again being late we dealt with it and went to sleep. Getting ready for my grandma's funeral on Saturday 8/3 the shower was hard to regulate the water temp and the water pressure was about as much as a kinked hose. It would go from hot to scalding hot to freezing cold on the setting you set it at. Also I had to call the front desk because the iron in the room didn't work. Went down for their continental breakfast and the place was a wreck. One of the workers was pushing down garbage and another guest asked for something and the worker turned around and helped them after having her hands in the trash...YUCK. Checking out I brought up the complaint to the gal at the front desk and was promptly given a comment card, no I'm sorry let me get my manager, just here fill this out and you're all set. Overall the stay there was horrible & NO WHERE near the price we paid fo the room. I've stayed at hotels that I've paid more than half for and had a better WAY experiences....NEVER STAYING AT ANY OF THESE HOTELS AGAIN!!! Do not stay here! They charged me $25 for towels they said I had "damaged". I travel for work and stay at many hotels throughout the year, and have never seen such a ridiculous cry for money! They claimed I had ripped and damaged the towels beyond repair, claiming in my five day stay that I had irreparably damaged seven towels! They will charge your card for whatever they can! When I called to asked for a refund of the money since their cheap towels could MAYBE cost them $1 a piece, they said the best they could do is only charge me $13! The area is unsafe and constantly under construction, in a poor location and the rooms are extremely outdated for the price to top it all off. I travel to Everett at least five times a year and will definitely be spending my money elsewhere. read more

Basic hotel - you get what you pay for. I was in Everett for a business trip and this was a convenient location (the only problem is you have to pass the hotel and make a U-turn at a signal and traffic is really heavy in front of the hotel). I was able to get a large, comfortable room at a really good rate. The TVs were old and had a somewhat limited selection, but I wasn't in the room very much. Good free wireless internet. I tried the fitness center and the equipment is limited, old and only worked decently, better than nothing at least. The breakfast was your basic chain hotel breakfast with waffle station and some other items (I've had better, but I've seen a lot worse out there). read more

I researched the hotels in the area and picked this one because they had a gym and a decent breakfast. The gym consisted of a treadmill, bicycle, stair stepper and weight machine. None of the electronic machines worked and the pin to adjust the weight stack was broken off on the weight machine, so you couldn't adjust the weight. Breakfast was supposed to include sausage. So they have a sausage and egg taquito type thing in a paper bag like you find at 7 eleven. You had to heat it up in the microwave. My friend couldn't eat it because she's allergic to eggs. The waffles were microwave waffles sealed in plastic bags. About the size of a hockey puck, maybe... My friend slept in the king size bed, which she says was very comfortable, and I slept on the pull out next to the window, with street noise keeping me up all night.
