My daughter and I really like fried fish so we checked out Quality Fresh Seafood to see if it was any good. We ordered the whiting and I asked for a combo with 6 pieces and fries with a side of hush puppies. They gave us a nice larger portion of fish. It was enough for me and my pre-teen daughter to share and we even had a little leftover. The fries were unsalted but were fine once we added some. The fish was fried perfectly. The hush puppies were a little over fried and I don't think we got the six we paid for. I wouldn't order them again. However our bill came up to $12, which is really affordable for this amount of food. The service was good and we waited about 10 -15 minutes for our fish to be fried. It didn't knock our socks off but it was decent and affordable so we will probably go back when we are in the area. read more

Man this sucks to write this, I was a fan of Quality Seafood's crawfish for so long. I guess there's an end to everything. Came in on a Sunday at 1:00 pm. Granted it's been awhile .. but the sign of no customers should've gave me a hint. Ordered 5 lbs of crawfish and hot wings/fries. As of 12/11/2021 it is $8.00 per lbs of crawfish, but hey I guess everything is going up. I miss when it was $4 ): & butter is no longer free. You get no butter with your order, yes you have to pay for it . 2 for $1 They gave us old everything. EVERYTHING. The crawfish had the bitter taste, hot wings were old to the point where the meat wasn't even on the bones, "hot" sauce was literally just Texas Pete. & fries ! How do you possibly mess up fries??? The fries were like cardboard and has spots. I should've took a pic. Smh shame on you Quality!!! They don't take EBT fyi. Save your money and go to VIP or New Orleans down the street. My family and I always get our crawfish from here but tbh it's a hit or miss. Some days it's so good you wish you bought more but other days it's not so good. I have gotten blue crabs from here as well and they were very good, tasted very fresh! They season their seafood real well. I used to stop by here and order food cooked to order. It seems that they are still doing that. Plates are available or you can pick your own from the case and pay to have it cooked. Today I stopped by to purchase fresh fish to take home and cook. It was in the area I was in and I was a little pressed for time so I didn't want to get side tracked in a grocery store. I PAID for the convenience. Catfish nuggets were $5.49 a pound...SHEESH! In short I bought 2 pieces of flounder filet and a 1/2 lb of catfish nuggets and it was almost $10. The man behind the counter wasn't well versed with his products...I wanted the white side only of the flounder and had to show him which was which. It seems they have a good price on Crawfish but unless I'm in the area and wanting Crawfish...I will just go to the store. read more

My goodness. I do not know why it took me so long to try out this place, but I have. And I've even gotten my whole family hooked on it! First of, the name says it all. Quality. Fresh. Seafood. I used to go to Southern Seafood in Decatur, but that was a bit of a drive for me, and it's not easy to get to. And sometimes I would even suffice with the mediocre seafood from Crawfish shack. I was convinced that Southern seafood was the best I could get around here...until I found this gem. I even have my family who live in Gwinnett placing bulk orders to take home. This place is definitely something to check out. Service is great. Food was amazing. Oh and the lemonade is like crack! I don't know what it is about it... TIP: My family always order A LOT of seafood from them, so we always have a menu and call in to order ahead so there isn't much of a wait. They get PRETTY busy on the weekends and near the holidays! I used to go here a few years ago on the regular. Service started declining as well as food. It became a hit or miss and the staff was always different. They have declined tremendously. I try to support local businesses but when it comes to food there should be no short cuts. I had fried catfish dinner, greasy and old fries, my crawfish was definitely old. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It's not worth putting your health in jeopardy. read more

This is hands-down, 100% the best crawfish you can get in the greater Atlanta area. This little seafood counter in Forest Park is a true gem. My fiancé and I always swing by and get 5 pounds of spicy and 5 pounds of regular crawfish. Though you can't buy Amit at the Quality Seafood, stop by a grocer amd pick up a beer to drink. It washes the spicy crawfish down so nicely, and I'm not even a beer drinker by habit. This is a plane you must check out! read more

I only get the crawfish from here. It's very hard to beat the price of $3.99 a pound cooked. Everywhere else charge way higher and they don't have that taste like crawfish should have. I'm not a crawfish connoisseur but everyone else who I brought it to seems to enjoy this place the best. Not the cleanest place and definitely not the fastest place but best price for tasty crawfish. Minus one star for cleanliness and minus one star for waiting time from order to pickup. Update Dec 4th: just bought more crawfish, place is definitely cleaner and service seems faster. I was referred here by a friend. The service was good but the wait time was a little long at 45 minutes for to-go food? I ordered the crab dinner which included one snow crab cluster, 15 shrimp, sausage, corn and potato, then an additional 2lbs of crawfish. I would say no the the crab and shrimp in the future, it was obviously frozen and over cooked. The crawfish on the other hand were large and fresh and amazing at 5.99 a pound I should have ordered 4 lbs and been done with it. I would come here again if in a pinch for crawfish. read more

My family and I love to get crawfish here. It's so good. We tried their crawfish when one of our friends gave us some years back. It was so flavorful and spicy and we've been hooked eversince. The price is also good $3.99 per lbs. yes that's right..cheap!!! We mostly go here for the crawfish but they serve all kinds of fried & steamed seafood and wings. Another thing we liked here are the garlic crabs. The sauce on the crab is good but we only try to order it during crab season because you can tell sometimes that the crab is not fresh. That goes the same for crawfish, it's always great but sometimes you get a few crawfish in your order that are drier or doesn't taste as fresh (I think they mix them sometimes) but it's still good. This place get packed so be prepared to wait or call in your order ahead of time like what we do. Also, if you're odering the crawfish their regular seasoning is hot enough so don't tell them you want it hot/spicy unless you like it crazy hot. Trust me on this, one time we ordered it hot and I couldn't eat but only a few because it was too hot. And the hubby who loves spicy stuff couldn't eat as much as he usually does. If you're ever in the area or is craving some good crawfish then give this place a try. read more

These people ruined my wife's birthday. I called and ordered 50lbs of crawfish. I called a week in advance I even called them to verify and confirm that I was coming to get the crawfish Friday a day before. I get here on time 3pm Saturday the same time I called and told them multiple times all for the to look at me and say "oh we thought you weren't coming" they said they called me and my phone was out of service. I gave them my number like 4 times over the phone. I looked at the paper that I ordered and it shows my entire number except the last 2 digits of the number is scribble scrabble no one can read. The last two numbers of the phone number look like something my son wrote down. So now her surprise birthday is ruined as well as everyone waiting to get there. Thanks to the incompetent people who work here. Service here is terrible I would never recommend this place ever. I even drove 45 minutes to get here because a friend recommended it. The best thing about this place is that they actually take call in orders as opposed to other fish markets located in the close vicinity. The quality of the crawfish is alright, but I really do not like their blue crab. Make sure to add corn and potatoes to complete your meal. read more

Never received an order number, so I approached the totally unprofessional Asian woman at the front counter. She was joking stating to one of her coworkers, "I don't know whose order it is, they all look alike". I was astounded to say the least. To hear a racial comment come from a foreigner, and with the diversity of clientele, it was extremely disheartening, especially in the 21st century!! Horrrrible, I ordered 2 crab leg combos, and the crab meat was brown! After I complained, they gave me a second batch of brown crabmeat! A year ago the really lived up to there name for fresh quality seafood. I'm not sure what happened? The only thing that I would order from this business is there "large" broiled shrimp and fries. The wait time is usually pretty long because of the shortage of people so it is best to call and order if you are getting a giant bag of a certain seafood. These small seafood restaurants are ALWAYS sketchy to me. But when you see a regular line of people ordering food you know they know something you don't. You start to realize that it's a secret that you're not in on and you have to try it out. That's how it was for me and this place. Rudest and most unprofessional place I have EVER experienced! I placed a large order and according to the person that took my order it was placed . I asked her for the total and she then told me she didn't know and that I could get my total by either being placed on hold or waiting until I come in. So after holding for a several moments , the owner gets on the phone very rudely and tells me that he doesn't know the total either and that they are very busy and that I need to come in and PLACE my order and I just told him I placed it with the previous employee . The owner proceeds to tell me they are very busy and HANGS UP IN MY FACE ! I then call back and ask was my order placed and they tell me I can't place a order over the phone because they are too busy ! Extremely unprofessional! read more
