Good seafood for the best price I recommend it if you're craving seafood and by the location

This place is in my neighborhood; literally down the street from where I live. I could walk here on a nice day. It shares the side lot of a gas station and is across from a Walgreens. The lot is busy, but there aren't a lot of people hanging around outside like some gas stations. This restaurant is fairly busy. Lots of people in and out. I ordered the catfish with broccoli. I enjoyed my meal and the price was good. I paid less than $10 for my meal. The portions were big and everything was well-seasoned. I'd definitely stop in here again if I were in the mood for inexpensive seafood. There isn't a lot of parking, but people are in and out so fast that you don't wait for a spot to park. If you're in the Lithonia area and in the mood for a quick bite, this place should do. read more

Honestly I love this place! They're kind & they never miss not matter when I go! I always get the catfish poboy which is always a great size serving for a great price & I don't eat a lot so it definitely money well spent. When you have the time please visit figure 1 as an example, I know y'all peep that filet on the side (chef's kiss). Also I got a shrimp poboy for my sister for the first time, I wish I got a picture of it before she started to dive in but know it looked just as good & she said it has hefty. They got my vote. Buyer's Tip: if you like more remoulade sauce, they do put it under the protein, just ask for some on the side. Thank me later. read more

I was looking for somewhere different to get seafood and I saw some great reviews for this place so I decided to give them a shot. ordered online, had it delivered through Postmates. I will say that the coleslaw looked more like salad with some sauce on it, was very sweet but it was good. also the gumbo was very tasty with the right amount of spice, the shrimp po boy could have used a lot more remoulade sauce, was slightly dry, no pickles or anything on it, just a few bits of lettuce but a lot of shrimp. I somewhat remedied the dryness by adding some of the very sweet coleslaw. I also ordered fried okra but since I ordered online with delivery it was slightly cool by the time I got it but I fixed that by just dropping it in a little Grease to heat and crisp it up. Shrimp never cooked to your preference like cook shrimp hard not soft. Plastic bags sweet food and can cause crispy foods to become soft

I've only been here once but the food and service were A1. The woman taking orders was so sweet. The items I wanted all come as separate meals but she worked with me so I didn't have to buy three meals for the three things I wanted. I was told my good would be ready in 15-20 minutes and 15 minutes later it was ready. The woman Saran wrapped my box to keep juices from spilling out. I don't know why some other places don't automatically do that! Wish I'd taken a picture, but I had lobster tail, crab legs, and jumbo shrimp that were actually jumbo. It was all great. read more

We ordered Fried Jumbo Shrimp, with Potato and corn and also paid a $1 extra for Broccoli on the side. The food was very good except for the corn . The corn pretty much tasted like it was over boiled. Other than that you get a large portion for a pretty good deal. Would come here again. read more

OMG!!! I cannot tell you the difference between fresh cooked fish and store-bought or fast food restaurant fish! This restaurant cooked the best catfish, I have ever tasted!!! And I am a foodie. I eat out all the time! The owner, Charlie provides fabulous conversation while your food is being freshly prepared. And he manages to have the perfect seasoning combination to literally make your mouth explode with the flavor because it perfectly enhances the fresh fish flavor! This fish is better than my own home cooked fried catfish! They even season their fries as well as their broccoli, which again is utterly amazing! Run don't walk to this location I promise you won't be disappointed, and I promise you to say that this is the best fish you have ever tasted!!! Ordered lunch via postmates from here and was so disappointed! I got the shrimp po boy with fries and okra. The breading on the shrimp was so thick and dense i took it off hoping it would make it better but i only found dry rubbery shrimp on the inside. They don't even use fresh shrimp at a seafood restaurant smh. The bread on my sandwich was also tough and rubbery it was so bad i couldn't even finish the sandwich i had to just throw it away. The okra had the similar breading as the shrimp and the only thing that made them and the fries edible was the season on top. This was a total waste of money for me,never again read more

Tried this based on the reviews but wasn't what I hoped it would be. The most flavorful item was the seasoned fries. The jumbo shrimp is a great size but I just wish they had some seasoning. Same for the catfish. No flavor or crunch and the skin just fell off. read more

I ordered a combo which came with 1 cluster of crab legs, 6 shrimp and corn and potatoes. I substituted the potatoes for corn and added the spicy seasoning as well. Overall, I was satisfied with the flavor. I also checked to see if the shrimp were cleaned thoroughly and they were, which gave me the confidence to give this place 5 stars. I came to the place a while back only to have a bad experience, but I called and spoke to someone and they informed me to come back and they would fix it and I order Salmon, Shrimp Potatoes and Broccoli. So I came back today to make good on the promise and the older guy honored it even when the lady didnt want to but that speaks volumes to me when I live On the other side of town and he was gracious enough to respect my order even though it was weeks ago . Anyone that honors their word in spite of what a person May say or have done in the past gets all my respect and I will always return to this establishment based off of that alone. Located around the corner from a gas station. U will miss it if u don't pay attention. I ordered whiting fish and jumbo shrimp. The fish was fried perfectly! Golden brown and cooked well done. The shrimp were moist but cooked just long enough so that u could taste the flavor. The meal also comes with a side. I got the steamed broccoli with Cajun seasoning. Very good and spicy. If you're not big on spice tell them no seasoning and add your own. It's at the counter. The establishment is family owned. Very pleasant, friendly and professional. Well, I asked about the food being spicy. I cant take the spice so I wanted to make sure I could get it without it being spiced to hot. The girl said yes, and I just ordered it with old bay seasoning. Received the two meals extremely spicy and way to hot to eat! I called to complain and the same girl told me well its cooked in the hot spices & then they use old bay. THAT INFORMATION WOULD HAVE BEEN YSEFUL WHEN I ASKED EARLIER! She knew about my aversion to the hot spices ! They also firgot the sausage... she told me it was a side & I had to pick it, when the menu said sausage & potatoes. I've given this place so many times to get it right. This is the last straw. I called ahead of time to see if they had Fresh Crawfish and they said yes just cooked today. Long story short, I went there placed my order and waited. When I got home to start eating the Crawfish I immediately said to myself, never again. Food and service is always good to me! Their Shrimp, Fish, Crab legs, Broccoli and Gumbo are seasoned well. Decent prices.

I could have gone across the street to Kroger and gotten the frozen seafood that we were served. Have passed this place for years and only tried cause my DIL spoke highly of something she'd eaten there. Well I should have just eaten the cash, surely it would have been better. If your a seafood restaurant you should serve freshly cooked seafood, not low grade frozen seafood. read more

Five stars is sometimes hard to get out of me. The place has to be great with great service. It's exactly what I get when I come here. It's a family owned place and there is a good variety of things. Ive been here a few times and every single time I have left a happy and satisfied customer. They have a number of different seafood options that are not cooked that you can get cooked to order the way that you want. They have a huge selection of cooked food as well at reasonable prices. Their Po-Boys and gumbo are great. I love the fact that sometime they have live blue crabs. That is my all time favorite food. They cook it perfectly everytime. The next time I go here I'm going to try their low country boil (crab legs, mussels, sausage, shrimp, corn and potatoes) Give this place a try if you are in the area. I am from out of town and I was working in the area. Found this place on yelp, and decided to try it. It did not disappoint. I got shrimp and fish, and a gumbo as takeouy. The price is reasonable and the favor is very good. The gumbo is chucky. Typically gumbo cooked longer. I don't mind tho, the favor is great with the right amount of hotness.
