This is my cousin and I second time receiving horrible service from this establishment. We thought they could redeem themselves from last visit but not so. It's Friday night April 4, 2025 and we walk in and was seated in less than 5 minutes. After sitting for over 15 minutes in a corner booth I felt as though nobody saw us sitting. I asked the bust boy could he get our waitress and he says she's coming. Priority to that I see a waitress and hollered excuse me while waving my hands and she kept on walking as if she didn't hear or see me. What do you know our waitress was her Chyna. My cousin asked for a Strawberry Daiquiri and she says do you want Virgin? My cousin said no but can I have extra strawberries and no whip cream. Chyna says I don't think so but let me ask. I got a Strong Island. So we proceed to order and I let my female cousin order first. She said I have a request "put my crabs in a bag with only Ol bay seasoning only". How hard is that...Chyna says we don't do that it comes with butter etc. my cousin says I just had it done at the Stockbridge location last week and here is the picture. Chyna says I can bring you some Ol bay on the side and you can put it on your crablegs yourself. My cousin said no I want the cook to do it since I paying for it. Chyna goes to the kitchen and confuses everybody so an Asian lady comes out and ask could she explain what she wanted. Finally the food comes out and my cousin asked for some extra ol bay and anything she asked for Chyna would storm off never saying I will be right back. It was as if we were getting on her nerves. Our intentions was to pay the bill and not tip due to bad service however the tip was included and I didn't want to get management involved especially when the Manager Mercedes came around and asked how the service was and I told her. I can't lie, the food was great! I frequent this location at least once a month. Normally on a Saturday after work I would call in an order. I decided to go in and sit down. I left the restaurant around 10:30pm before midnight I was in the bathroom fighting for my life. When I say I walked the floor all night vomiting, diarrhea, bad stomach ache and cold chills. I ended up going to the urgent care the next morning because it was bad. I will never return!!! Day 2 I'm still experiencing diarrhea, Dr gave me meds to stop vomiting. Me and a friend who lives in the area came here for late lunch. We weren't sure if we would even like it since it was newly opened and we are so use to JC another popular seafood restaurant. The menu from sides to desserts are even the same as the JC seafood spot. Oh well, we gave it a try anyway. Its very spacious inside. The music selection was R&B which I enjoyed. The flavor of the sauce was just ok for me. They dont have the alcohol license yet and i wanted a drank...aka adult beverage. I ended up drinking plain coke instead. I also ordered along with my seafood boil combo the catfish basket. This was pretty big for the price. Two people can easily eat off of the fish basket that comes with four pieces of catfish fillets nicely seasoned and fried golden brown along with cajun or sweet potato fries. When the bags of seafood come out they are filled with air really balloon like and you can clearly see the food inside. Our waiter was attentive and helpful. FOOD POISONING WARNING!!! Last Sunday my husband and I went for celebration dinner after selling our home. Both ordered a dozen oysters on the half shell and king crab. We basically spent several hundred dollars FOR FOOD POISONING!!!!! I almost went to the hospital and was in bed in agony for 3 days nonstop vomiting and diarrhea. Pain was the worst! My husband is in the bathroom every 30 minutes vomit and diarrhea I called the restaurant to let them know and was told they won't replace our meal unless went to the hospital and then their insurance would cover medical. Can you believe this. I even got attitude from the manager that I was asking for no refund and I didn't want money just acknowledge the pain they put us through and replace the meal. She offered me $10 off a meal if we came back. I asked to speak to the owner and was told they are never there. Shame also said they didn't care if I made a factual review of the restaurant to warn people. I REPEAT....DO NOT EVER TAKE A CHANCE AND GO HERE OF YOU May GET FOOD POISONING LIKE ME AND MY HUSBAND suffered. We are retired and not well. I ordered the S3 Rockin Combo Special that came with 1/2 sausage and shrimp with 1 cluster snow crab legs and 2 potatoes and 2 corns. I got it in hot with the Rockin Special Season. The spice level was perfect. The sauce was good but not as flavorful as other places I have been, in fact it was better the next day. Last night I met my bff here for dinner. I keep telling her they are the best. Walked in, no wait on a Friday night for party of 2. My server Deanna. .was on point. The server brought me food and asked if I needed any ketchup for my fries. I politely declined.
