Every time I go, I get GREAT customer service, good food and a clean atmosphere. I always get the Cajun wings which can be a bit greasy but so worth it. They come out piping hot every time! This is my cousin and I second time receiving horrible service from this establishment. We thought they could redeem themselves from last visit but not so. It's Friday night April 4, 2025 and we walk in and was seated in less than 5 minutes. After sitting for over 15 minutes in a corner booth I felt as though nobody saw us sitting. I can't lie, the food was great! I frequent this location at least once a month. Normally on a Saturday after work I would call in an order. I decided to go in and sit down. I left the restaurant around 10:30pm before midnight I was in the bathroom fighting for my life. When I say I walked the floor all night vomiting, diarrhea, bad stomach ache and cold chills. I ended up going to the urgent care the next morning because it was bad. I will never return!!! Day 2 I'm still experiencing diarrhea, Dr gave me meds to stop vomiting. Me and a friend who lives in the area came here for late lunch. We weren't sure if we would even like it since it was newly opened and we are so use to JC another popular seafood restaurant. The flavor of the sauce was just ok for me. They dont have the alcohol license yet and i wanted a drank...aka adult beverage. I ended up drinking plain coke instead. I also ordered along with my seafood boil combo the catfish basket. This was pretty big for the price. Two people can easily eat off of the fish basket that comes with four pieces of catfish fillets nicely seasoned and fried golden brown along with cajun or sweet potato fries. First let me start off by saying there is normally not a wait to get into this restaurant but I have been once in a while because someone was having a party but let me tell you it is worth the wait. The food is served fresh and well seasoned. The hostess stand when you first answer the door can be a bit confusing there's multiple people there and no one welcome to the customers when you first enter the building so you really don't know what's going on or where you are in line you pretty much have to be slightly rude and a little pushy to find out when will you be seated. But once you're seated the customer service is excellent. I don't recommend drinking from the bar menu because we've tried several of the drinks all of them are water down and weak. If you have to order a drink your best bet is going with beer or wine. Even the shots were Watered down. Your food comes out very hot and fresh and it's about a 20 minute wait which is OK when you taste the quality. I have been on a weekend and they have a live DJ. Even without the DJ the music is played pretty loud. If you don't want steamed seafood they also have a fried menu. My favorite item is the steam oysters with the rocking sauce. These are yummy. So ultimately what I recommend is restaurant for seafood......YES. I do highly recommend that they fix the front entrance when you walk in because it is not organized you are not welcomed when you come in the door so you don't know where you're going and who's next. It's very disorganized and chaotic in the front. That's the reason why I gave four stars and not five because of the hostess stand. read more

I still like the food but it is pricey to add items to your boil. We occasionally get takeout from here and on a Saturday evening we decided we'd dine in. Once we got inside we immediately changed our minds. There was a DJ, which is cool, but the music was way too loud. I wasn't sure if I walked into a restaurant or a club that serves food. FOOD POISONING WARNING!!! Last Sunday my husband and I went for celebration dinner after selling our home. Both ordered a dozen oysters on the half shell and king crab. We basically spent several hundred dollars FOR FOOD POISONING!!!!! I almost went to the hospital and was in bed in agony for 3 days nonstop vomiting and diarrhea. Pain was the worst! My husband is in the bathroom every 30 minutes vomit and diarrhea I called the restaurant to let them know and was told they won't replace our meal unless went to the hospital and then their insurance would cover medical. Can you believe this. I even got attitude from the manager that I was asking for no refund and I didn't want money just acknowledge the pain they put us through and replace the meal. She offered me $10 off a meal if we came back. I asked to speak to the owner and was told they are never there. Shame also said they didn't care if I made a factual review of the restaurant to warn people. I ordered the S3 Rockin Combo Special that came with 1/2 sausage and shrimp with 1 cluster snow crab legs and 2 potatoes and 2 corns. I got it in hot with the Rockin Special Season. The spice level was perfect. The sauce was good but not as flavorful as other places I have been, in fact it was better the next day. If you want blue crabs do not go here. I purchased 9 blue crabs for $20 and they were tiny even though they removed the top shell, cleaned them and cut them in half but the meat inside was mushy. The worst so called blue crabs I have ever had. I could not eat them and I requested my money back.
