I'm part of the trail ride community, so the only time I come to VYBEZ is during their line dancing events. The lounge itself is very small and does not have a real dance floor. They usually move couches and tables around to create space for dancing, which works... temporarily. The issue is they start putting the furniture back on the "dance floor" about an hour before the event actually ends, which completely kills the "vibe." Now let's talk drinks. I've been to VYBEZ several times, and no matter what I order, whether it's a featured drink or a standard cocktail any bartender should know, I never taste the alcohol. Everything tastes like juice and never hits the way it should. This is not the place to go if you expect to actually feel your drinks. Unless you're taking shots, you won't get there, and shots are around $12 each, which feels expensive for what you're getting. On a positive note, the food is really good. The wings are the standout, especially the jerk wings if you like spicy. Just be prepared for the prices, because you're going to pay $22 for 10 wings and fries. This is a cute spot and I came on a Wednesday afternoon. Bartender was very friendly and took my order promptly. I had the salmon Alfredo and a tequila sunrise. The salmon was seasoned perfectly but it's something about the Alfredo sauce that I couldn't get jiggy with. It tastes like they use carnation milk as a base which leaves a weird sweet after taste that I didn't appreciate. Needs to be heavy whipping cream or half and half then needs more garlic. The food was excellent, and the ambience was beautiful. I love walking in and seeing the big horse and then stepping in to the main dining area was extraordinary. I just have one suggestion about the smoking situation. We were sitting near the side door that leads out to the eating area out there and it was overwhelming we should've moved, but we stayed there. I was at this lounge tonight and witnessed something extremely disturbing. A female customer asked for a refund after her food was served cold twice, even after sending it back. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, both male and female security jumped on her for no valid reason simply because she asked for her money back. The situation escalated unnecessarily and was handled very aggressively. No customer should be treated like that over a legitimate complaint, especially when the food quality was clearly an issue. The way security responded was completely unacceptable and made the environment feel unsafe. I will not be returning, and I would strongly encourage management to address how customer complaints are handled and how security interacts with guests. read more

It is very unprofessional to pull all your servers off the floor to do a photo shoot by the bathroom and then have security block the entrance so it can take place. During this time, I ordered a hookah refill and drinks that ended up being watered down because your staff was tied up in a 20-minute photo shoot instead of being attentive to customers. A photo shoot should be done before opening or after hours--not during active service while guests are waiting. I came here for a birthday celebration and the service was great! I got there at 1:45pm but they don't open till two on Sundays which is crazy to me since football season is right around the corner. Once 2:00 came, I went in and wanted to order food but the kitchen wasn't open. I was able to order food around 2:40pm. They had done some redecorating since I had last been there and had booths in the center of the lounge/bar instead of tables and chairs. I didn't like that and felt they were trying to make extra money by selling booths. So now, you can only sit at the bar for free or purchase a booth. Now the reason for the three stars. I ordered a Moscow Mule with Tito's at the recommendation of a friend and that was my first time having one and it did NOT disappoint. That will probably be my go to drink from now on. My husband and I just got home from going here! Glad we did! We got here around 7ish, and it wasn't crowded at all! It's a very nice lounge! It just re-opened under new management about a month ago (the manager Shanti told us this). Speaking of which, she was VERY nice and welcoming! I got the appetizer, seafood blast, which was supposed to have salmon, shrimp and cabbage in it...kinda like small eggrolls, however, I'm not sure if it had any of that in it. The adult beverage he got was called BMW, had sprite, 2-3 kinds of liquor, blue curacao, and some more ingredients. It was so good. The hubby and I were going to eat for date night and we drove by this place. I understood it to be a restaurant/lounge but it felt like a nightclub. The males get searched by an officer, okay fine. Then you walk in and there's nobody there to greet you, no sign telling you what to do or anything so we just walk to the bar. The music is terribly loud. Anyway, our server/bartender comes over and is friendly and lets us know that we have to scan the QR code for the menu. I know this is a thing that people are doing these days, but I don't like it lol. It was mentioned that the food was great. The food seems overpriced for the ambiance so I just order a turkey burger. My server/bartender asks me how I want it. I'm thinking he's talking about condiments or toppings for my turkey burger. No, he's asking how well I want it cooked and if I wanted it medium rare like my husband asked for his beef burger. I thought he was joking, but apparently he was serious. I mentioned that it is poultry and that it should always be cooked well done. He had this blank stare as if he didn't know that. Anyway, we get our drinks which was served in those plastic cups you would use for a punch bowl. Our burgers get to us and was served in those plates you see food trucks use. The burgers and fries were flavorless but I got through it with lots of ketchup. We get our ticket and notice there was an 18% gratuity automatically added as well as a fee for placing an order. So this Friday we said we were going to try their happy hour menu. We got there everything was fine, we got to the table and the chairs and table was dirty. I ignored that and went about my business. I ordered the fried shrimp for an appetizer and it was pretty decent. The batter wasn't done all the way but seasoned perfectly. As we had our drinks we noticed that they make you pay 18% gratuity. No matter what !!! Also the waitress showed us no attention, she disappeared and would be missing for 20 or 30 mins. We had to ask other employees to get our waitress multiple time. And for the place to not be packed the drinks took very long to come out. I had spilled a drink when I first arrived, so I asked for napkins and I got my meal before I received my napkins. I ordered my food, I got the lobster Alfredo. The Alfredo came out pretty quick and off of first sight I seen the Alfredo sauce was very soupy. But I didn't complain I wanted to try it. When I tried it the pasta was cold in the middle and I had a long blue hair in my food. It was obviously where there hair came from because it was only one lady in the restaurant with blue straight hair and she was the bartender. So when I told the waitress about the issue, there was no apologies, there was no curtsey. She just took the food and asked "what do you want to do?" I looked at her and smiled and said what can I do. She said "you have 2 options... you can get a discount and we don't remake the food or we can remake the food" at this point my girlfriend has a hookah and I just got a new drink so I asked them to remake it. She left for a few seconds and came back and I proceeded to tell her never mind I don't want it anymore, my appetite was gone and I was frustrated. When I got the bill I asked her where was the discount because my bill was 110$ and we only order shrimp, and 6 or 7 drinks that was 5$ a piece. She said "you asked us to remake it and then you said never mind" I continued trying to explain to her that she gave me 2 options and just because I asked them to remake it and then said never mind, doesn't mean I don't want my discount. So after a little back and forth I asked for the manager and the manager basically said she was too busy for me right now. So requested for her again and then she came out. When she came out she tried telling me the discount was her taking the food off of the order. So at this point im confused and I didn't know what she was talking about. So after some more back and forth, the manager then says, the only way I can get a discount is if I order the pasta again. My wife and I went the past weekend to grab a quick bite and a drink or two. When my wife arrived (I came later), the server came and took her drink order and then disappeared for what seemed to be :20. It was not crowded and there was no reason to take that long for one drink. It was at this point we decided to not order food and pay for the drink and go about our way. The problem is that the server left and went outside for an additional amount of time leaving us to do whatever. We wanted to pay but could not find our server. We asked another server to allow us to settle our tab and she went to find our server and quickly brought the pay machine to our table. Still haven't seen our waitress. The new server said that she could not print the receipt as it was not her table/account and would not be able to. I think it is odd there was an 18% service charge (the servers allegedly don't get) and a 3% processing fee and then taxes on top of those additional fees. As we were paying, our original server came back in smelling like weed. If you smoke, I don't think it's a good look to leave a customer to do so. Do that on your own time.
