The sauce that they service with it was good. I went with my cousin and two of her coworkers on a Friday night. We walked in and were promptly greeted. No problem being seated quickly, but that's where the issues began. It took FOREVER for a server to come to our table. It seemed as though none of them knew who was supposed to be responsible for ours. Several kept walking by and it was "I'll be right back" or "I'll get your server." I get it, Friday night, big crowd, busy, but 15mins to get water??!! C'mon Dominique, you can do better! This was probably the worst dining experience I have had in a long time. I put in a reservation 3 weeks in advance for Valentine's Day. Once we arrived 20 minutes early for our reservation, we were informed that they had a 30-minute wait for reservations. So we arrived at 5:40 p.m. And got seated at 6:30 p.m. when we had a 6:00 p.m. reservation. We went to the bar and ordered drinks in the meantime and they were pouring heavy which was nice since everyone was apparently 30 minutes behind on all reservations. Once we got to our table we ended up putting in our order immediately because we had all the time in the world to look over the menu. I ordered the surf and turf filet mignon with lobster tail medium-medium rare. My wife ordered the ribeye steak rare. While we waited for our food, we had a jumbo shrimp appetizer which was really good. The issue was that we watched people come in after us who got seated after us who got their food before us. The ambiance was nice. But they didn't seem exceptionally busy. If anything, they just seemed like they had a normal full night. There was not an exceptionally long line or anything of people waiting. They had plenty of staff on hand. We were told that the weight was due to the fact they were busy. But nothing else. So I have no idea if it was a lack of cooks or what, but the wait time was so long. We finally got our food at 7:55 p.m. And my wife's steak was cooked too long and it was cooked medium and not rare. We told them we didn't want to send it back if it was going to take super long for it to be redone and we believe that's the only reason it came out so fast. This was supposed to be a romantic night out but it ended up just making us both really frustrated and annoyed. We chose a locally owned restaurant we had never been to. But with how the experience was, we could have gotten a better experience at Olive garden which is really depressing to say. The one highlight, was our server Di'el as she was quite attentive and apologetic. But management never stopped by our table to provide an answer as to why our reservation didn't matter and we had to wait 30 minutes. No apology for the meal being cooked wrong. Uno was a great server. We enjoyed our meals. It was very crowded for a late dinner on a Wednesday night. Our drinks were a good pour (old fashioned and vodka tonic). The steak was overcooked, and despite arriving right when they opened and placing our order immediately, our food took an unusually long time to come out. On their website, they advertise being open to 11 PM. But in reality they close the kitchen at 9:45 and they refuse to serve their customers. This is piss poor customer service. I did not enjoy the experience at all on our last visit. My husband and I went out for date night on Sunday and it was terrible. We had reservations and were seated right away, although we weren't asked if we had reservations. After being seated, we waited 30 minutes before being greeted by the server. After 30 minutes the waitress brought us water and asked if we'd like lemons with it. We stated yes. Well, we never got the lemons. We ordered all of our food, including appetizer, and alcoholic beverage at the same time. The main course arrived before the appetizer. The food was warm and my husband was missing one of his sides. We had to mention about our drinks, the appetizer, and his side. The manager came over and stated the kitchen crew were exhausted and were doing the best they can, but that still doesn't excuse the missing drinks, late appetizer, and missing side. When the side did arrive it looked like the macaroni was placed in the microwave with a little cheese and parsley sprinkled on top, it didn't look nor taste great. The drinks were also disgusting. The other side should have come out with the rest of the food. The waitress did very little. The overall experience was awful, much different from the first time we went. My husband wasn't offered any steak sauce for his steak. We waited on the waitress to come back to pay but it took her so long we just paid with cash, and left it on the table so we could leave. We visited this Restaurant on Mother's Day for the first time, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. The atmosphere, music, and drinks were nice, and our waitress was pleasant, but she was not attentive. We constantly had to ask other servers for things we needed because she rarely checked on us. The biggest issue was the food and the service. We ordered shortly after being seated, yet it took almost two hours for our food to arrive, even though the restaurant was not very busy. When the food finally came out, it was awful. The salmon was extremely overcooked, the broccolini was cold, and the candied yams were stringy and tasted canned and poorly prepared. On top of that, they could not seem to get the order right. My shrimp was missing, the baked potato was missing, and then another potato came out covered in cheese that I did not request. Every time they tried to fix one issue, something else was wrong. Management kept bringing back the same plate with only one correction made, leaving other items cold, missing, or incorrect. I did not want to eat my meal one item at a time while waiting on the rest of the food. What should have been a peaceful Mother's Day dinner turned into a frustrating experience. We sent the food back twice, and there was no sincere apology, discount, or real attempt to make things right. Very disappointed with both the food and management. Decided to try this spot on a Friday night for dinner and to hear the band. Overall, the ambiance was nice and the restaurant was clean. The waitress was also wonderful! The food and drinks did take time as I noticed most reviewers mentioned. But I didn't mind, because the band was late. Everything was good, including the band and the Old Fashion, but the shot of bourbon looked so small in the glass for the price I paid. I did appreciate that the restaurant did not add gratuity or an entertainment fee to the tab. My only complaint was that the ribeye was tough. It had a great taste, but it was a bad cut of meat. There was no marble or fat although it was cooked medium. I plan to return to try some other dishes, but I would not recommend the steak until they choose a better quality of beef. read more

Food: We ordered a bottle of wine for the table, although in a bucket of ice the wine was still warm. It took us 45 minutes to receive our meals, and even then certain items from everyone's meal were missing. Since my crab cakes never appeared with my sides, I tried a piece of someone else's order and the crab cakes were really good and had a nice kick to them. The baby broccoli was also nicely cooked and seasoned, and my cousin really enjoyed her yams, but everything else lacked. The salmon was very tough and lukewarm, and the mash potatoes to go with the meal were cold. My aunt never received her chicken Caesar and the truffle fries were cold. For the price of the menu, my expectations were a lot higher. The best thing I tried was the olive oil they have on the table and the baby broccoli. Thankfully, the manager was able to handle our concerns with understanding and grace. Ambiance: Very nice inside. Perfectly decorated for date night, girls night, or a celebration. Be mindful certain areas in the restaurant do not benefit from the a/c. So, it will be more warm in the corners or the dining area. (This was explained to us by one of the waitresses) Parking: They have complimentary valet or self-parking. It is in a plaza so there's plenty of spots around to park. Overall: I was not impressed at all. They did just open about a month or two ago, I believe. So, they definitely need more time to work out all their kinks. We had a very enjoyable lunch. They had just opened on a Wednesday so there was no crowd. Lucas was acting as both waiter and bartender. He was very personable, helpful, and attentive. This is the first time we visited the restaurant since it was an Arizona's and we thought they did a great job of remodeling. My wife had a crab cake appetizer and a Caesar salad. The crab cake was crunchy on the outside and mostly crab meat on the inside (not like some at other restaurants that are made with mostly breading) and had the perfect touch of heat. She enjoyed the sauce that came on the side very much as well. I had the spinach dip appetizer which was cheesy and creamy, then the shrimp and grits. The grits were creamy and flavorful and served topped with a tasty sauce. The shrimp were plentiful and succulent, grilled with good bay seasoning. For desert I had bread pudding and my wife had apple pie topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. My only complaint is both could have been warmed up a little more. I ordered the crab cakes and collard greens. They both were extremely good, especially the collard greens. It was $28 total. The appetizer crab cakes come with 2. The dinner portion is the same amount but includes 2 sides however, it's $36 and sides are $8 so you don't save any money by ordering either way (appetizer or dinner). They do have happy hour drink specials but I didn't have the best experience with the drinks. I asked for a lemon drop and received something that tasted like a margarita. I'm thinking the bartender used lime instead of lemon or too much sweet & sour. The manager came and spoke to me and told me once it hits the table it can't be removed from the check. They removed it from my check. Overall the experience wasn't terrible but as someone who absolutely loved Arizona's, it's not the same. The fine dining concept feels forced. It's linen on the tables but they cover it with paper like you're at Juicy Crab. The linen was wrinkled. It doesn't match the tufting of the booth. And there's the typical green wall with neon word lighting. The sides are served on saucer plates but with a paper napkin underneath. They have added more tvs but nothing is playing on them but ambiance music. The oil for the bread is infused with the seasoning and herbs but taste like only oil. Fine dining would have been the server pouring it for me and adding the seasoning. read more

We had an opportunity to visit Dominique's at Stonecrest this evening. We've been patiently awaiting the opening and once we seen the "open" signs from the freeway, we made our dinner choice right there. The restaurant is definitely a welcomed addition to the community, so I'd like to thank the ownership for investing in the area . Now on to the review, the staff was amazing, the ambience has won me over compared to the choices within a few exits on the interstate. She had the ribeye and creamy spinach and mashed potatoes, which was delicious. I had the Rasta pasta with grilled chicken which was equally amazing. I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Dominique's in Stonecrest. I was genuinely excited to dine with friends and celebrate the holiday season, but what should have been a joyful afternoon turned into a two-plus hour lesson in POOR service and DISRESPECT. I arrived early for my1:00 PM reservations, upon arrival of everyone in my party we were seated about 1:10PM. From the moment we sat down, the service was extremely slow and unprofessional. It took about 20 minutes before the server even greeted us and by 2:00 PM we still hadn't placed our food order due to the server lack of attention and lack of professionalism. One guest in our party had another engagement; she orders a soup to go so sch could leave. After multiple delays and the server's nonchalant attitude, she had to leave. As she was getting to walk out the door her to go soup arrived. After waiting more than two hours, I spoked with the manager to express my concerns about the wait time. His response lacked empathy or a meaningful attempt to resolve the situation; instead, his response was "What do you want me to do about it?" No apology. No accountability. Our meals finally arrived at approximately 3:15 PM. To make matters worse, gratuity ($25) was automatically included, which made it very clear that there was no concern for providing quality service. The so-called resolution was a $10 discount on a $200 bill, which felt insulting rather than corrective. We weren't looking for a free meal, just RESPECT, PROFESSIONALISM, and BASIC SERVICE. To the core, "I HATE SLOW SERVICE...!" I'm starting this post off with the issue. My wife and I arrived along with another party and it took a good five minutes to be seated, that was the best part. In my mind I wanted to say, "NO cause you just showed up!" But instead, I let her know that Candace was going to be our server. Her face broke, "Oh, " she huffed and walked to the next table. Five minutes later, we're still waiting for our drinks (2 waters and 2 Ginger beers) and as I look around I spy the short waitress who was supposed to be serving us, talking to another server and motioning towards our table. Then Candace appears to validate my request. When Candace returned to take our order, she confirmed our suspicions. We arrived at 7:15 and at the time of me writing this, it's 7:57 and we're still waiting for food. Food finally arrived and it was delicious. But DAMN!!! I visited this establishment on the Friday before Memorial Day, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The first issue occurred when I ordered a glass of wine. The wine glass I was given had what appeared to be a lipstick stain on the rim, so I requested a replacement. When the second glass arrived, it was also dirty. At that point, I asked my server, Zion, if I could switch to a different beverage since this was the second unclean glass I had received. I was told that I could not because the wine had already been poured. I found this response to be lacking in customer service and concern for the guest experience. Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. Before leaving, I ordered a to-go serving of Rasta pasta. When I got home and began eating, I discovered a produce sticker in my food that appeared to have come from a bell pepper. Finding a foreign object in my meal was both unacceptable and concerning. Overall, I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with my experience. Between the repeated cleanliness issues and the lack of attention to food quality, this visit fell far below reasonable expectations. This establishment needs to do better. Date night at Dominique's was great! It's my second time eating there and the vibes were the same as my first experience. I had the T-bone steak mashed potatoes and broccolini. My steak was made the way I asked, which is a plus for me. The flavor was delicious. The atmosphere was 10 out of 10 I don't know who the DJ was, but their playlist was immaculate. It stayed cold the entire time. I placed my order, two whole wings, truffle fries, and brocolini. The truffle fries came out overcooked, dry and hard, as if they attempted to warm them up from before. The brocolini was so salty, it was if they were dipped in brine. The whole wings, albeit small, were very good. I advised my issue with the fries and was told he had to ask the owner if it could be removed from the check. I told the waiter that regardless of the owner's reaponse, I wasn't paying for untouched food. Mind you, this was at the beginning of my meal. The owner then came to look at the fries and then took his time to think of what to do. He finally nodded for the waiter to remove the plate. All in all, I will not return. It only takes one time for me. The worst part is that it's a "Black Owned" restaurant and I really wanted to support them. read more
