You wouldn't know that from the website nor just walking in. That would've been nice to know beforehand so we wouldn't have wasted our time. The inside has an interesting look and feel but they at least played some good music. We went for Sunday brunch around 11:30. The server was a bit slow, and it wasn't extremely busy. I ordered the fish and grits and my sister got the shrimp and grit balls. None of it was seasoned, with MAYBE the exception of the Cajun sauce that came in both dishes. If you're like me, you know it's not hard to even lightly season seafood or even grits, so it was disappointing the flavors, or lack of, that we got. Will we be back? Eh idk. It was close to my sister's house so that was the only plus.

I really wanted to see if things had improved since my last visit with a large party. Unfortunately, it still feels like a place with potential that's not being supported properly. When we walked in, I thought things had turned around. The new host (her first day) was amazing warm, confident, and professional. She gave a great first impression. But once seated, it went downhill. * The music was way too loud, to the point where we had to lean in just to talk. * There was only one server working the entire restaurant, which meant slow service, long waits, and a stressed-out vibe. Let's talk food: The fish and grits (see photo) were phenomenal easily the best thing I've had on both visits. Creamy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The chicken and waffles (see photo) were average. Chicken was seasoned okay, but the waffle was a bit underwhelming and slightly rubbery. This place could be a standout in the area the branding, the menu ideas, the food (when it hits) are all there. But the inconsistency, staffing issues, and volume level hold it back. Would I come back? Maybe, for the fish and grits. But only if I hear they've fixed the basics.

Food: 5 Service: 3…read moreAtmosphere: 1 Total? 5 Lol!!!! Best southern homemade breakfast I've had in Atlanta. Even if it is only takeout! I cannot come to Atlanta without eating here! Warning: It's not a beautiful space. It looks completely old and run down. They stopped seating customers during Covid and never looked back. (I guess we're too much work ). Truly ghost town looking building. But damn if it don't hit my "I need some good grits and bacon" itch every single time! Eggs, grits (both with or without cheese) Bacon, sausage patties, sausage links, ham, country fried steak, delicious pancakes, biscuits... I don't remember it all. You can have a plate of food or just order a meat of your choice with biscuit to go. The only missing piece on their menu is fried fish. And while their biscuits are very good, 8/10, nothing beats a Bojangles biscuit. The drive-through line was long - on a Thursday at 10 am. So I parked and walked in. There are a few chairs to sit in as you wait. The service is competent. Not particularly friendly but not at all rude. Just handling business. They busy y'all! So why doesn't the business invest in their building? Why is the sign so sun burned and the chairs look like they came from some back room in granny's church? It's not like they are hurting for business. They have folks wrapped round the drive-thru. Work trucks on idle waiting to get their fix. Oh! Check my receipt again. $8.57 for decadent cheese grits, fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and a biscuit. So .... they haven't raised prices to ridiculous amounts under the guise of "inflation" like everybody else! ? That must be why! I won't complaint. I'll skip the long line, order at the counter, happily get my southern comfort breakfast in a styrofoam box, and hit the road. Every time. Granny's good good, southern breakfast!

I did this and got my food before all the cars that were in the drive thru. I ordered the bacon breakfast with biscuits & gravy and it was really good. Not too salty but just right. I ordered a side of salmon croquettes but wasn't a fan. They were too fishy for me. Overall I will come back here and recommend it to others.

I went to this restaurant with my mother to check out a new place for breakfast, both of us excited to give it a try. Right off the bat, the waitress treated us coldly. She spoke to us with an irritated, passive-aggressive tone and seemed to regard us with displeasure. She constantly visited our table and tried to rush us to leave during our entire visit. We were confused by this because we always take extra care to treat waitstaff kindly, especially since we both have a background in service. We didn't want to assume that it was from prejudice, but the continued behavior from the waitress and the clientele made us feel that it was so. Customers stared us the entire time, as if we did not belong there. When our food arrived, another customer peeked over the corner of the wall from their table. They stared at us, laughed, then returned to their table. We felt like we were in a movie due to the outlandish negative ambience of this restaurant. We had never felt so unwelcome and gawked at. One of the waitresses that checked in on us were nice, but the amount of negativity from the rest of the restaurant was too much to ignore. The food was alright, nothing special. The french toast was too egg-y for my taste. The coffee wasn't great. Biscuit and gravy was pretty good though, I'll give them that I guess. The rude service only slightly subsided after checkout. The whole experience had a very "what the fuck" factor that I never want to endure with my mother again. Won't be coming back. Ever.

I joined a friend for dinner and I chose the bang-bang shrimp for an appetizer and the garlic Parmesan wings with onion rings for my entree. The onion rings are a $3 up charge. If you order the Rasta Pasta and get salmon it's a $9 up charge. Our server delivered great customer service throughout our dining experience but I didn't like that they automatically charge you 18% gratuity without properly communicating it. Then, I paid an extra tip without realizing the gratuity was already included. This was my 1st time dining here and I didn't know that, neither is it posted anywhere and our waitress didn't mention it either. I realized it when I asked for a printed receipt. It was only two people in my party so I didn't understand why the 18% gratuity was automatically charged. I didn't appreciate the deception. TIP: Please be aware of exactly what you're paying for and ask for a printed receipt before you pay your bill. The ambiance was very loud because they had a live DJ It was the bang-bang shrimp for me.

When we entered, there was no one at the hostess desk, so my husband went to find someone, and they soon arrived right after. I will say I was in disbelief at her attire. She had on what looked like (at first glimpse) pajamas! But even if it actually wasn't, why would you wear that as a hostess at a restaurant, and not only that, why would your manager allow you to wear it? Anyway, we were seated and our waitress, Amber was very pleasant! I ordered the Spanish Omelet, and my husband got the breakfast burger w/ a side of potatoes and grits. My omelet was good, needed a little more seasoning but it was edible. My husband said that his burger was good, he would get it again, but the grits needed more work. He actually didn't take them w/him and he had a lot left over before he got full. Just be warned that a service fee is auto added to your check. Also, you don't get a paper check (tab), you have to see you check on their device. So, if you don't ask to see your total, you won't know until you actually get the printed receipt. I would go back to taste their dinner entrees. All in all, go try it out for yourself!
