I ordered the Lemon Blueberry Cake slice and it was delicious. It's not easy to find lemon and blueberry in the same slice. Best Bakery in Atlanta. Made fresh daily. I always order assorted cupcakes. But everything I've tried had been great.

I was in love with the history they put into the business, I felt a part of a real mom and pop shop learning about how the skill was absolutely passed down on the plaque they have next to the counter. I found out about them via DoorDash maybe a month ago, but everything looks so much better in person. I've already ordered the slice of lemon blueberry cake twice, I tastes so good.. the mix between the fresh blueberry flavor in the middle and the pop of lemon on the icing both mixes so well with the fluffy cake. It's not too sweet, it's also a VERY nicely sized slice. If you're not sure what to get, I'd recommend that. The owner is very kind and you can tell him and his team put a lot into making sure every cake is made with the same level of care! I will definitely be back! read more

Had a sweet tooth the other day, so I decided to try to bakery out since I was in the area. I asked if they had caramel cake (my favorite), but they didn't, so I chose the caramel cinnamon roll instead! It was very tasty! Very flaky and moist at the same time! The icing was great! We ordered using UberEats one evening when are sweet tooth was screaming. We ordered 2 of everything and spent a very pretty penny. Cream cheese brownies were spongy, we prefer fudgy richness. The banana pudding cheesecake was good but didn't redeem the rest of the items we purchased and didn't like. All the cakes and cupcakes we received were incredibly dry and crumbly - really bad and we did not finish any of them. We had strawberry cake (icing too sweet), Virgin Island cake (almond flavor and multi-fruit fillings was tasty; but dryness ruined it), key lime cupcake, and chocolate cupcakes (burnt bitter flavor which wasn't espresso in nature). Wish we could say we enjoyed it better, but most went in the trash. We normally give the benefit of the doubt and try again, but with every baked item being so dry it will be hard to convince hubby to return. read more

While visiting my mom with my kids, we decided try this place out. We purchased 3 cupcakes, key lime, cookies and cream, and chocolate. Two out of three were okay. We also purchased two slices of lemon pound cake, and a slice of strawberry cake. The pound cake was okay a bit dry but something I can finish off with some coffee. The strawberry cake was very, very dry not fresh at all! I gave it two stars because the place was cute and the service was great. But I'm sure we won't be back. read more

OMG the cupcakes (one chocolate fudge and one red velvet), the cheesecake (cookies and cream, I was afraid of the red velvet, but it looked delicious), and good God the most buttery red velvet croissant with cream cheese filling and a chocolate drizzle, that you will EVER taste! The cupcakes are fresh and moist and absolutely heavenly in flavor. Everything is made in-house. This is a lovely family-owned bakery that is now my go-to destination for cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, cinnamon rolls..... whatever my sweet tooth craves. The almond amaretto cake is my favorite but the carrot cake is also great. Cakes are moist, not too sweet. My mom enjoys the croissants, (now I'm craving the turkey and pepper jack croissant!) Bakery is always clean, they also sell coffee and wifi is available. The owners take great pride in their business as they clearly appreciate their customers. I'm disappointed that I was very disappointed with my first visit here. I bought a variety of things: macadamia nut cookie, a piece of blueberry lemon cake, chocolate chip cookie and a caramel cinnamon bun. Both the cookies were dry and most certainly not fresh. Mind you cookies are made by someone else and sold at the bakery, but dry cookies reflect on the bakery. The blueberry lemon cake was okay, but I wouldn't order it again. Been visiting local bakeries in hopes of finding one that I would become my "go to" for all of my celebratory needs. The SugarMill is a very quaint, cozy establishment. The cakes and other baked goods looked very tasty. I ordered a couple cupcakes just to see if they tasted as good as they looked. I hate to say that I wasn't really impressed. The key lime cupcake tasted like a vanilla cupcake with a light key lime frosting. The same with the others. AMAZINGLY Delicious!!! I stopped by for the first time with my 11 yrs old daughter who saw the store and would not stop until we visit and happy that we did.
