I really wanted some ice cream. So me and my mini me stopped here before we went to Publix for a mid afternoon snack. The parking is fine. It's at stone crest mall you'll have more than enough space to park. The locations appearance is similar to the other locations as far as standard cold stone designs. Staff was o k. Wasn't impressed. He seemed a little annoyed when my daughter was trying to find her choices she wanted which was one of the reasons for the three stars. The other was that he was extremely slow. I don't if he was new or what. There was another server there and she had a pleasant attitude, a smile, asked and suggested flavors, sizes, add ons and even helped him, guided him through some of the making process. To be honest they need more people like her. It's an ice cream parlor for goodness sakes! I don't get people lol I really don't. This is the go to spot for guilty pleasures of deliciousness. My fave choice on the block is the Apple Pie a la cold stone otherwise known as 'you better get you one of these' ice cream delight. My 14 years old roommate considers themself a connoisseur of milkshakes but sticks close to the Oreo shake or good ole faithful Cake batter n shake. Cold Stone's in Georgia are like unicorns...I literally had to drive to Conyers y'all! Yeah I know I could've stopped for gelato, frozen yogurt, or Bruster's but it just isn't the same! The way they mix the ice cream and toppings together on that slab of "cold stone" and combine it in the fresh waffle cone gets me every time. Everyone else must feel the same because this location was packed! We waited in line 45 minutes before being served. I think it was worth it... The waffle cones are made on a waffle machine, like the ones you see at Waffle House, and the batter has a cinnamon flavor. I always get the cheesecake ice cream with fresh strawberries on a waffle cone (small-$4.99). My best friend and I decided to bring our boys for ice cream this afternoon and it wasn't the best experience. There was only one young lady making the ice cream choices while there were 2 other employees in the back. One employee came up to help (she was wearing a burgundy Victoria Secret Pink hoodie with a burgundy/blue paisley headband and hair pulled back into a low ponytail with glasses) and was rude to me. We didn't get all of our orders in and she brushed us to the side. I understand the line is exceptionally long, due to COVID social distancing measures, but to be rude for no reason was unnecessary. As a result, I left a 10% tip. The only reason why I gave it 2 stars is because I LOVE Coldstone Creamery and their ice cream. I absolutely love Cold Stone ice cream. This location is always packed with a line out of the door. We were on our way to a movie and had some time to kill so we stopped in. Good thing we had almost an hour before the movie started because it was at least a thirty minute wait. Once we got to the front of the line we moved through fast. I did have time to sign up for the rewarss program while in line though. I ordered a love it sized cookie dough and it was so good. The ice cream is always really tasty. The facility could have used a cleaning. The tables and floors were visibly dirty, but again it was packed. There were three employees working and one was refilling ice cream in preparation for the next day, so she wasn't helping get the line down. We paid right at $10 for two ice creams with toppings. Incredibly slow and unorganized! YOU CANNOT SUCCESSFULLY OPERATE A STORE WITH ONE PERSON! The line is out of the door and there are three employees on the clock but only one is scooping ice cream. Horrible, horrible,horrible! So I placed one of those "ready now" cake orders. I did this online for a pickup a few hours later. Get to the store at the pickup time and none of my order is ready. Waited about 30 minutes while they fixed the ice cream part of my order, get what I thought was the cake I ordered and leave. Well, I get to my car and take a peek at the cake only to discover that it is not what I ordered. Go back in the store, place all of my order in the freezer and let the staff know. How about they didnt have my cake. They call their store manager who was no help and didnt try to correct the situation. First they try and tell me that my pickup was for the following day, no ma'am email is right here with all of that information. They only offered for me to come back the following day. I had already wasted 45 mins of my day, gas and my son whom was waiting in the car didnt have a birthday cake. NO SOLUTION! So I left that store with the incorrect cake that they gave me that clearly was for another customer. AND I had to tell the staff per USDA you can give that cake to another customer if it left the store. They sure would have did just that. read more

I placed an order online and prepaid. I expected to go into the store and pick up the order quickly. However, that was NOT the case! I waited in the pick up line for more than 15mins, not once did either of the two girls making ice cream acknowledge me or offer assistance!! I'm a huge ice cream person and I have yet to find ice cream this good in America. The only thing about this specific location would have to be the manager. Whenever he's there he decides to make up his own rules. If you're a regular shopper here you'll know that they usually make the ice cream and if they have left over they'll give it you in a smaller tub. That's not the case when "he's" there. He literally grabs the left over ice cream and throws it out. I've been coming to this Cold Stone location weekly for years. And even though your prices went up I still support your business and not complain. Tonight I went in to purchase 2 "everybody" Coffee lovers and on both tubs I had to tell the teenage server girl to properly fill the container with the sufficient amount if icecream. She had an attitude throughout the entire transaction and I was tempted to walk out, get a refund and leave the icecream there. As a customer who continues to support this business I cannot condone being robbed of the product I am paying for. Your everybody size went up during covid from $9.99 to $13.99 and while I understand the restraints that business face and the reason for prices rising, I, the loyal customer WILL not be understanding of being robbed of the correct amount of product in the container. I dont know what people are complaining about. I've been to coldstones all over the east coast and this one is just like all the others, including the long lines! People tend to crave ice cream on hot days and after dinner so if you go at those times then you should expect a line. It takes time to have it made, most its not there fault. I have visited this Cold Stone on several occasions and it seems like every time I come to this particular location they seem to be always out of waffle cones. This is the only way I like to eat my ice cream from here is with a waffle cone. You would think that on a Saturday and Sunday, on the busiest days for your business you would have a lot of cones prepared considering that the weekends are the busiest time for people coming to eat ice cream here. I tried Cold Stone Creamery again after 4 years of having it the first time. It was mediocre for the price so I didn't rush to try it again. So anyways, I thought I should give it another chance but alas it was still mediocre ice cream with sky high prices. To make things worst, the person that was making the ice cream desert didn't know what was in the concotion and started putting caramel (which I hate) on it. I told her it dosen't belong on the desert so she did make a new one but I had to ask for the chocalate flakes that she neglected to add to the desert. All in all the ice cream doesn't taste that great, bad training for the staff and high prices to boot. I am a fan of Cold Stone's and have been for a very long time. The service has changed over the years from where the customer was treated to a guest to now I feel like I am bother to the employee's! Today was the worst and I am amazed how I was treated at this location. Everything went well until I asked for a lid and it was sat on the counter next to my ice cream. This has never happened to me so when the employee was asked to put the lid on he did it, with a matter of fact attitude. I understand that for me not to come here again is not an issue for him however there will be at least one person that reads this review that will think twice. Cold stone as a brand I'm ok with. It's entertaining to watch someone play with your dessert before you indulge yourself. However, the staff at this location seem to think that they're just buying time until someone shows up and offers them a reality tv show that they can eventually leverage into a clothing line deal. Reality check, you don't have the work ethic! I stood in line for over a half hour for two reasons. 1) because my girlfriend really wanted banana ice cream. 2) because the staff is comprised of a bunch of slow, sassy, uncaring juveniles. Ok, there are so many things to unpack w/ this particular review. First & foremost, it took almost an hour to get through the line and get our icecream. There were 4 employees that I saw. For the most part only 1 employee was working. 2 others stayed primarily in the back and the 4th was up front but not assisting customers for the first 20 min. Once he finally did start assisting customers, I noticed that he & the other female employee that was working were both serving the customers & ringing up their orders without changing gloves in between customers. That has got to be some type of health code violation. Also, unlike most other Coldstone / Marblestone Creamery's, this location did not have premade waffle cones. They made them upon request, which you would think would be a good thing to have a fresh cone until you realize that your cold icecream is going into this still warm cone/bowl. Needless to say my parents icecream was a mess all over the place before they were barely out of the door. We were all looking forward to having icecream to celebrate a special occasion only to be disappointed by this particular location. The ice cream is good but the customer service is literally awful. If I could give them ZERO stars I would. I ordered a cake online and decided I wanted to change the flavor, so I called the store and spoke to an employee named Sara. Sara told me it would be fine, and I asked her to have her manager call me to confirm. Her manager called me with an attitude and told me they don't process cakes on Sundays (it doesn't say that anywhere online or in-store) and I could pick it up Tuesday if I wanted it, if I didn't then "too bad". This cake is for my daughters 21st birthday which is tomorrow.. so I called the store back and Sara told me I could have a "ready made" cake. I said that was fine, and could she please just write my name on it so I could be sure they would have it (it was the last large cake), Sara told me "I don't have time for that right now". She could've written my name on the cake at any point today during her shift but she "didn't have time"; so I hung up. I called the Lawrenceville location and spoke with the manager Sophia, who was happy to process a customized cake for me to pick up tomorrow afternoon. She was in disbelief over the poor customer service at the Conyers location, she even told me I should contact corporate and I believe I will. Good ice cream, nice customer service, some days it can be slow. Not always a full staff of employees, sometimes one or two. Most of the employees are nice, friendly and patient. Only downfall will be the speed, most of the time the line is out of the door and it's only two people on line and one lingering around but not exactly helping with the crowd. I placed an order online this morning for a cake to be picked up the next day. As per the website, cake orders need at least 24 hours advance notice; which I gave. Around 3:30 p.m. today, I received an email stating that my order had been cancelled. I called to find out why and spoke to the manager who said that they needed 24 business hours notice in order to make the cake. How unprofessional is that? If your website says 24 hours notice then that means 24 hours notice. It needs to be changed to 24 business hours if that's the excuse you're gonna use in order to get out of fulfilling an online order. read more

This is one of my favorite locations in Atlanta. Don't understand the few complaints posted. Yes, young students work here and they do a great job. The owners come in and help the long lines flow. This location is near shopping, restaurants & a movie theatre. Long lines are expected. Also, this ice cream is more flavorful than Baskin Robbins and Brusters, therefore you pay more. The lines can get long on the coldest days. That tells you it's worth it all! read more

Great ice cream always! My favorite is sweet cream ice cream, yellow cake, strawberries and whipped cream all mixed together in a waffle bowl! Better than Bruster's and Baskin Robbins. You get way more ice cream for your money at Cold Stone, and the kids love it! The employees are always up beat, we just love it! read more
