    Vegetable biryani, and bitter chicken

2nd visit today, and I brought my sister along. She loved her butter chicken, and samosa. I had the vegetable biryani again- it's still amazing! Also had garlic, and butter naans. The service is top tier in my opinion, they treat you like family. I'll be back again when in town. My only issue is that I was so excited about the chai I ordered that I walked out ,left my leftovers on the table and didn't notice until i arrived home an hour later. I guess that's a reason to go back sooner... we'll see each other again soon Yellow Handi

the chicken biryani is so good!! The best I've had so far. We also got saag paneer and the special goat curry. Both were delicious as well. I'm not really a fan of saag paneer but this one was very yummy. Service was prompt and our waiter was attentive. Would definitely recommend if you want some delicious authentic Indian cuisine.

Staff was great. Owner/Chef came out to say thank you in person. Started with some great veggie samosas. The chicken biryani (Indian Hot) was amazing, naan was nice and fluffy. the mango lassi tasted great and helped tone down the heat. Finished off with the rose ras malai for dessert.

Food is consistently good and freshly prepared to order. I love that the staff greets you upon entrance and provides great customer service ensuring we have everything we need. The ambiance has been updated resulting in a nice vide with pleasant music coming through the speakers. This place is a gem. Check them out whenever you're in Conyers/Covington area. You will be glad you did!

It is wonderful to have a local delicious Indian cuisine restaurant to go to! Not only is the food incred delicious, the customer service is fantastic. The owner, Sam, is so personable and spent time talking to my S/O and I after we had our great meal; I had the goat saag, and he had the butter chicken. I will definitely be back and bring my friends. An important thing I pay attention to is the cleanliness of bathrooms, and theirs was very clean, which definitely pleased me. I really like their water feature that adds to the welcoming ambience. The first thing that hits you when you open the door is the aroma of all of the spices. The mango lassi is my favorite drink and it did not disappoint.

Looking at the menu there are a lot of options including some unique fusions as well. I decided to place a to-go order for the Chicken Sagg Malai Kofta And The Delhi Chicken Tikkamasala Pasta I also ordered a cheese nann and Laccha Paratha with the veggie samosa. When I arrived I was greeted warmly by the staff. The restaurant was clean yet empty (maybe that should have been the first sign) I received my order and was excited to go home and eat with my family when I arrived home and opened the sagg I was a bit disappointed at how separate everything looked . Sagg is always my go to and while the flavors slightly may vary from location to location what I received looked more like a spinach legume where everything seamed separated as I took a taste I was hit with harsh flavors of raw ginger and spices that seemed to separate in my mouth rather than the warm blend of flavors that I'm used to . I could barely get past two bites and decided to try my sisters malai Kofta another favorite that I've had before from 4 different Indian restaurants. I was completely blown away that it tasted like a thick unseasoned hollandaise sauce almost like a puréed egg yoke with grainy falafel balls . Not the smooth Paneer Kofta with potato that I'm familiar with, the tikka masala pasta was tooo sweet chicken texture was off along with the mushy pasta it was probably the dish that was eaten the most of the three . The nann was great and the somosas were alright but sadly most of everything was tossed in the trash . Maybe there's too many ingredients on the menu to properly execute the dishes accordingly or maybe the chef isn't tasting the dishes that they're making either way as someone who's very versed in Indian cuisine and the versatility of different dishes based on the regions of India . These were simply not edible or good . Please go back to the drawing board and work on these recipes.

The exit leading to this restaurant can get quite busy, especially during rush hour. The GPS will have you turn into an exit only lane, but the best entrance will be through the Krystal fast food entrance. While this place has tables and chairs, they do not provide table service. They only do take away orders and self-service dining. There is a sign near the register that states this. Menu is great, provides enough dishes for everyone to enjoy - vegetarian or meat or fish. I got butter chicken, palak paneer, rice, garlic naan, and cheese naan to go. I ordered a mango lassi to drink while waiting. All the food I got was delicious, and they understood the assignment when I asked for mild spice. With tip I paid about 60 bucks for all of it. There is enough parking for about 10 cars in front, more on the side. Staff is friendly, but there really isn't much interaction other than when you order.

I do not often post reviews, but want to encourage more business their way…read more.. This is our favorite local Indian spot, hands down. I've tried a handful around the Lawrenceville/Snellville/Grayson area, and none come close. I've appreciate some good Indian cuisine for the better part of 20 years, and although I don't venture too far from my normal favorites, everything I've had here is good. I'm the prototypical samosa/chicken tikka/naan eater, and these favorites are excellent. Maybe throw in some Chicken 65, aloo palak, or veg korma and you got a solid family meal. Don't forget to order some rice, and make sure you let them know how spicy (even though my family wants no spice - they do that too!) The one downside is it can take a while. If you call at 6pm on a Saturday, expect to wait at least an hour. The thing is, the food is truly homemade and fresh, so it takes time. It's definitely worth it, but there are times when we just didn't prepare well in advance, or they are really busy because they cater too. Normal times you can have your food in about 45min. We mostly do takeout, as do most I think, so if you are in the area and looking to sit down to eat, I've never seen it completely packed, so you don't have to worry about waiting to get a table. Don't be thrown off by the minimal signage or limited if not no people sitting inside - it's a perfect place to enjoy some incredible Indian from a family owned mom&pop restaurant. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

I got the kothu parotta, my husband the Butter Chicken with Naan and my friend, the Kappa and Ulli Theeyal. I've had better kothu parottas but overall the food tasted good. Cons: Strike #1: While placing the order, the guy with the cap on was annoyed and spoke insensitively. He perfectly fit the description of the rude guy mentioned on Google reviews. My husband told me to let it slide as it was nearing closing time and yes, maybe the guy was anxious. Strike #2: He asked us the spice levels and when my friend said spice level 3/10, he smirked, laughed and asked if she is a Gujju (Folks from Gujarat, India who get stereotyped for their spice tolerance levels). She took it sportively and said yes. Strike #3: This was when I started feeling very uncomfortable. My friend was checking out the snacks they had on display, especially the Achappam (A sweet, flower-shaped snack that's popular in Kerala). While we were discussing it, the same guy came to us and said 'Gujjus usually like this snack'. She was about to purchase it but rather came back quietly to her seat. Later, she told me that his comment was the reason why she didn't make the purchase. Making stereotypical comments - Way to go Kerala Kitchen! Despite all these, my friend and my husband did quite enjoy the food. They just wanted a good meal and leave without any fuss. My husband even tipped the guy! I wish I'm half as nice as them.

We got takeout (Butter Chicken and Tikka Masala) and it was the most bland Indian food I've ever had. The chicken was very dry square cubes and the sauce seemed like it was straight out of a pre-made packet. Sauce is so important with this type of food (in my opinion) and It was apparent that it had not been made from scratch. It could've been "doctored up" some and simmered to develop flavor but it wasn't. Maybe they have some other dishes that are better; maybe we ordered the wrong thing. But unfortunately we won't be ordering from here again. PS it does not say on the menu that the entrees come with rice. I assumed they would but because no one answered when I called to ask I didn't know for sure so I ordered a side of rice. We ended up with 3 containers of rice because the entrees Do come with rice (FYI). Also, the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala taste almost identical. Same orange color and same flavor. It was hard to tell the difference between the two.
