India Express was INCREDIBLE! I was shocked by how good my food was. I had the Grilled Branzino with rice and Garlic Naan! When I pulled up to the restaurant and got out of my car, the most amazing aroma hit my nose before I even got out. I said "I hope that's India Express smelling like this" and sure enough it absolutely was! I loved every single thing about this restaurant...from the service, to the beverage, to the food. The food was delicious! Very authentic Indian cuisine, the Nan was amazing and fresh. Our service was very good even during a busy lunch rush they brought us our food fresh. The restaurant has to go ordering as well as seating for in restaurant dining. While on the pricy side you do get a very large portion including the entrees and the rice. I ordered butter chicken, naan, and vegetable samosas to go. Great service from the gentleman that took my order and lovely samosas. Butter chicken was unlike any other... in a bad way. Heavy tomato, not creamy and no fenugreek or other usual spices. Naan was cracker thin yet chewy and tasted old. Rice also wasn't fresh. So sad about the meal overall but again the service was great. read more

We found this restaurant by accident today. It's in a strip shopping center in front of Home Depot in Conyers Ga. I'm in the area fairly often and have never noticed it. It's a relatively small, very casual place. The service was good. Staff was very polite. I had chicken tikka masala, and my wife had vegetable biryani. We had a side of garlic naan. I was going to Savers in the area and looking for a place to eat and I saw this restaurant and honestly I was looking for cheaper prices and looking at their menu it's a very serious menu, you cannot tell that from the outside, and it has some serious prices, which are most likely well warranted it just wasn't what I was expecting. But I was really hungry and I didn't want to just leave so I ordered the Samosa Chaat which is one of the less expensive things on the menu. The man taking my order said that was a good choice and asked the spice level I wanted and I said medium, and then he said, I am going to make it mild and then give you some spice if you need it because we make things spicy here. Well I hate being told what my spice level is I mean I'm grown, but...he was right it was pretty spice forward and delicious. Now when it came out it was to go and it was in just one of those medium round clear containers that you might get at a Chinese restaurant for an order of soup. And it was over packed and the lid was kinda brimming at the top, and I was so hungry I opened it in the car and liquid got on my pants leg which was irritating however I was so hungry I cleaned my leg off, and then reopened it in the bag (worked better), and dug in and it was...delicious! Surprisingly delicious! It had the green sauce with it, (no extra spice was in the bag but I really didn't need it and might have hurt myself trying it) but no tamarind sauce or yogurt to go with it. If it were me I would have put it in a proper to go shell container and added the tamarind sauce and yogurt too and made it like a proper chaat where you can see all the ingredients. And also at first I thought it was small, but I got full on about an eighth of what was in the container and thankfully I have tamarind sauce at home and some tzatziki sauce which will just have to do for when I get hungry enough to eat later. I would definitely come back and get the Tsali lunch and try it and also if I can finagle another Indian food lover I would try the dinners for two, one is vegetarian, the other is meat, both are on the pricey side. I wish the prices could be cheaper but in this economy I also understand why they aren't but if you can afford a nice dinner I think even though this restaurant is of the hole in the wall variety it has some serious cuisine going on and is worth a try! I am sure I will be back even if it's just for the Samosa Chaat again! read more

Had the Butter chicken and Garlic Naan (Basic I know.) but it was pretty good and the portion size was awesome! I was slightly concerned on price but after eating I'm more than satisfied. Everything was well seasoned and there was a bit of kick so I can only imagine what a Vindaloo would taste like. The Naan was excellent too. I recommend. The area is highly competitive next to an AD, a Japanese spot, and juicy crab but I think this place has the chops to fit in. read more
