Had a great time here. Prompt and friendly service. Good food and drinks. A laid back atmosphere. Had absolutely no complaints. From the fried shrimp appetizer, to the lamb main course, and the Blue Lagoon drink. My dessert wasn't stellar, but I'm partial to cottage cheese, which was the base for it. Went back for a second time to try specifically my favorite dish, however, when I was looking at the description of the foods, I decided to once again try something different. I opted for the chicken pathia with the garlic naan. How I felt about that dish made me increase my stars to five. I think I found a new favorite dish. It blended the spice and the coconut so well. Service was really pleasant. We were greeted and seated right away. I wasn't very hungry as I was just accompanying my sister and brother in law as they ate lunch. What a great choice for dinner. My date and I were craving Indian food before our movie and Bombay Bites was right on time. They offer a bunch of seating in their dining room, full of booth and singular table options for guests. When I arrived, I was quickly greeted at the front podium with a smile and guided over to a table. Shortly after being seated, my waiter came over with some cold water and a appetizer in the form of colorful puffed treats that reminded me of veggie chips. They also came with some side sauces that were delicious, but didn't make me fall in love with the app. For dinner, we both opted for different entrees and garlic naan. My meal was absolutely delicious! The portions were much smaller for my bfs meal than expected and he is a guy who can really eat, so that was a bummer. But both of our meals were delicious! The biryani was very good and had an excellent meat to rice ratio. I order medium heat and thought it was too spicy and I normally can tolerate spicy. I've been here multiple times over multiple years and both the food and the service have been fantastic every time. Whether you're looking for more common dishes like buttered naan and chicken tikka masala or more unique ones featuring goat and lamb, you can't go wrong. Every thing I've eaten has been great! And if you're wondering, like I once was, about the spice levels, "mild" does mean mild, "medium" is a good bit spicy for those who like some heat, and "hot" is quite hot. This is our neighborhood Indian restaurant, so it's our go-to when in the mood. To be clear, this is in McDonough and we live in Stockbridge but this is nearest option we've found and we've been eating here pretty much since it opened. It's always a solid experience. The service is fast and super-attentive, and the food comes out fresh and hot with little wait. We've been with large parties for special occasions and small parties just for lunch or family dinner. Tonight I didn't think to take pictures until we were partly through the meal. The two tiny ppl shared a cheese quesadilla. It was a large portion,add from four full tortillas and sliced into 8 pieces. As a starter, I had lentil soup. For entrees, hubby had the lamb curry and I had chicken vindaloo. We had a garlic naan and an onion kulcha. My vindaloo was spicy to me even though I ordered it with "no spice" and the quesadillas had a finishing sprinkle of something peppery on the tips. Other than me being unable to handle spice, the food is usually flavorful. Hubby figured out tonight that it's the curry sauce he really loves and (even tho he always get lamb), he thinks he'd enjoy it just as much on anything.
