I looked up the reviews on Yelp and on the delivery app I was using and they were mixed on one end and great on the other. I figured it was worth trying out for myself. We decided to be basic af and went with tikka masala, butter chicken and naan. (Please keep your judgement to yourself! lol) The reviews I read on the delivery app pointed out that their food was "oily" and boy, they were right. When our food was delivered I opened the containers and was bummed from the visual. Both dishes were topped with a layer of oil that I drained out. We still went forward with eating because they still smelled great and well, they were paid for lol. My partner really enjoyed the butter chicken while I thought it was a bit chewy, albeit still good. I liked the tikka masala but it was still a bit oily and didn't have any spice to it despite us requesting the 3rd level of spice. The garlic naan was really good but it was one piece of naan sliced in two... for $5. They could have slipped another piece in lol! All in all, I hate that I'm in the minority for this biz at the moment. So many other Yelpers are loving them so it may have just been an 'off' order for me. I'll give them another chance in the future in hopes of having a tastier experience!

I tried Lamb Rogan Josh…read more(medium spicy), Goat Handi (mild spicy), sauteed mushrooms, Achar, Roti and Peshwari Naan (naan stuffed with a puree of rasin+cocout). Overall the seasoning of these dishes were on the heavy side. In particular, the medium lamb and mushrooms were quite spicy. The mild goat also had a kick of heat but it was OK for me; in fact, this was my fav as the sauce was thick and flavorful, and the bone-in goat was super tender -- definitely had better quality than those sold in farmers market. Besides, the achar was quite salty, so salty that I could swallow it only with tons of rice. There are not many Indian restaurants in Midtown Atlanta. Compared to Tabla, another Indian restuarant only ~0.5mi walk from this one, the dishes in Blue india have a larger portion size, especially for their curry and biriyani. The naan was huge as well -- my peshwari was about 0.6lb! However, Tabla had more side dishes including tandoori vegetables, which made it more suitable for dining alone.

They had a pastrami sandwich on there. If you know me... you KNOW I LOVES me a good pastrami sandwich. So of course I decided to try it out. The location is in a strip mall/shopping center, where there is a lot of parking. I was able to park right up front. Upon walking in, I was instantly greeted. The young man gave me a few minutes to review the menu, but I was looking for something to go with the sandwich I already had in mind lol. I asked what he would recommend, and he stated the Samosas.... Chicken or Vegetable. In addition to my pastrami sandwich, I ordered the chicken samosas. I was able to sit down and wait for my food as they were preparing it. The restaurant reminded me of a pizza shop, but it smelled so much different. The young man also let me know that the bread for the sandwich is freshly baked, so you know my mouth was watering and ready for this sandwich lol. My food was extremely fresh and he made sure I was satisfied with how it looked before bagging it up for me. Of course I took my pictures before leaving because I had to drive like 15mins home. Anyways.... On the car ride home, I decided to eat one of the chicken samosas..... OH MY LORD!!! It was sooooooo good. I should've asked him if it was spicy before ordering because I don't like spicy food, however it was still good. Too spicy for me, but really good. When I got home I washed my hands and dove into my sandwich. Let me tellllll you. That bread though??? It was freaking amazing!!! There was just enough pastrami in the sandwich with the right amount of cheese. This sandwich was perfect. It was so filling that I could only eat half of it. You could also taste how fresh the bread was. I'll definitely be back to get another and I wanna try the kabob sandwich too. Great service and great food.... My type of combination!!

From the outside you might think it was a sub shop, however, the menu options quickly snap you out of those thoughts. To my dismay, when I arrived at 6pm, the Butter Chicken was sold out! Awwwwwwww... I wanted to cry. I mean literal tears. LoL! In speaking with the cashier, he was sharing with us some of their top selling items. Based on his recommendation and how good it looked on the picture on the wall, I decided to get an order of Hariyali Chicken with the sauce on the side. Once we placed the order we went to take a seat. The restaurant is very clean and has a super simple American Quick Eats design. A few tables and a few booths. Nothing that particularly stands out. However, it is a large space so whether a patty of two or patty of a few, it will work. When the food was brought to the table, the chicken was very fresh. You could smell the seasonings which made my taste buds excited. LoL! The chicken was meaty and moist. It was chopped in chunks which made it perfect for dipping in the green sauce. The chicken had thinly sliced onions and peppers which were cooked to perfection and added a nice light crunch texture to the dish. Overall, the food was very enjoyable. The flavor profiles are pleasing and provide an authentic Indian experience. The portions are perfect for the pricing.
