I haven't had an issue since visiting this location for the past six years. It's a great spot for grabbing a quick lunch. My order has always been correct and a good portion size also the price is decent for grabbing lunch in ATL for less than $15. I always go with the gyro plate which is plenty. We've ordered from here 3 times since I've moved into a new job in the area. The service and food is good with a fair price. While the tzatziki sauce isn't as authentic, it's tasty and goes good with the food. I do suggest avoiding the baklava. It wasn't homemade, was stale and had a refrigerator environment flavor. My mother Karen Massey had a terrible experience today at the Forest Park location. I'm not sure if the girl named Karen S. is a manager or not, but she is an African American woman, light skin tone, heavyset, wears thick glasses, and has dark acne marks on her face. Today, around 1:45 pm, my mom ordered a Gyro Plate wrapped with lettuce and asked for hot fresh potatoes. My mom explains this happened, " The cashier Aniyah was very nice, and told me they would gladly make my potatoes fresh. When my order was ready, I noticed the lady gave me the cold potatoes. I said oh ma'am I was waiting for those hot potatoes. This rude girl I'm speaking of, interrupted my conversation and said oh those potatoes ARE HOT! rolling her eyes being very nasty, her customer service was terrible. Then she yells just redo the whole plate! And you can't lean over on the counter! " I was sitting down listening to music so I did not hear what this worker said to my mother. However, I am disgusted that someone that rude and nasty is representing your business. The aggressive attitude is not how you handle your customers. As we walked out the restaurant, my mom told her she needed to fix her attitude. This worker also spoke very rude to another customer just because he told her he did not get what he ordered. She needs to be reprimanded immediately. My mom has been a long time customer since the 2000s, patronizing the Virginia Avenue location. She's been going to the Forest Park location since it first opened. This is the first time she has ever experienced something like this. If you don't have any tea, how about having a sign on the register telling your customers that, I don't drink fountain drinks? We got spanokopita, a Gyro and Greek potatoes with tzatziki sauce. The spanokopita was fresh, crispy, and stuffed full. The Gyro was full of fresh and flavorful ingredients. The Greek potatoes were perfectly cooked and seasoned and were even better when dipped in a little tzatziki sauce. I would definitely eat here again! Rating from F to A+++ I would rate it an A++. The young lady working as the cashier had a serious attitude problem. I was asking her why the price was ringing up differently on the register than what was printed on the menu. She was insisting it was different because I added something onto my gyro. I explained that that wasn't why. She yelled at me and walked away out of frustration. Her coworkers stepped in and very easily explained that the prices on the printed menu are old and no longer accurate. I thanked them for explaining that and paid for my order.
