Grecian Gyro - Gyro plate with sauce on the potatoes. - Mediterranean Near Me - Forest Park, Georgia

If you go to Grecian Gyro and don't order the feta pita, you're seriously missing out. It's Greek girl certified -- I've been eating it since I was a kid, and it's still just as yummy every single time. Pro tip: get extra veggies -- I'm talking extra extra onions and tomatoes. Don't be shy. Tell them to load it up until it's busting or you'll be starving in an hour. The flavor is unreal. That warm pita, creamy feta, and fresh toppings come together like nothing else in the world. The potatoes are also a great little side treat, but let's be real -- the feta pita is the main character. 10/10, always hits. read more

Food was great. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Was greater when I walked in and food was delicious. I got the steak plate and a large drink. It was right after lunch so it was slow and quiet until I got there with the kids. All the tables were clean and no funny smells in the atmosphere which I could appreciate. read more

Great food and staff! Fresh ingredients and fair pricing! Manger is super friendly and good looking!

I haven't had an issue since visiting this location for the past six years. It's a great spot for grabbing a quick lunch. My order has always been correct and a good portion size also the price is decent for grabbing lunch in ATL for less than $15. I always go with the gyro plate which is plenty. The service is usually pretty quick and if you order online your order is ready when you arrive. read more

Great service and delicious food. I ordered the Grecian gyro wrap with Grecian potatoes and it was really good.

Food is amazing!! Make sure you get there right when they open! It's not a hidden secret. CJ the manager is awesome as is all the staff. No small talk as they are full throttle from the minute they start! read more

We've ordered from here 3 times since I've moved into a new job in the area. The service and food is good with a fair price. While the tzatziki sauce isn't as authentic, it's tasty and goes good with the food. I do suggest avoiding the baklava. It wasn't homemade, was stale and had a refrigerator environment flavor. As a bonus for avoiding it, you'll be able to use those calories on something delicious like their hand cut fries. Yum. read more

Always good food!!! Service was excellent, but that's normal for Grecian Gyro I definitely recommend for Greek food.

My mother Karen Massey had a terrible experience today at the Forest Park location. I'm not sure if the girl named Karen S. is a manager or not, but she is an African American woman, light skin tone, heavyset, wears thick glasses, and has dark acne marks on her face. Today, around 1:45 pm, my mom ordered a Gyro Plate wrapped with lettuce and asked for hot fresh potatoes. My mom explains this happened, " The cashier Aniyah was very nice, and told me they would gladly make my potatoes fresh. When my order was ready, I noticed the lady gave me the cold potatoes. I said oh ma'am I was waiting for those hot potatoes. This rude girl I'm speaking of, interrupted my conversation and said oh those potatoes ARE HOT! rolling her eyes being very nasty, her customer service was terrible. Then she yells just redo the whole plate! And you can't lean over on the counter! " I was sitting down listening to music so I did not hear what this worker said to my mother. However, I am disgusted that someone that rude and nasty is representing your business. The aggressive attitude is not how you handle your customers. As we walked out the restaurant, my mom told her she needed to fix her attitude. This worker also spoke very rude to another customer just because he told her he did not get what he ordered. She needs to be reprimanded immediately. My mom has been a long time customer since the 2000s, patronizing the Virginia Avenue location. She's been going to the Forest Park location since it first opened. This is the first time she has ever experienced something like this. I am appalled and I hope a manager or general manager contacts my mother, Karen Massey, soon please. Thank you for your time and attention. read more

I ate at Grecian Gyro while on a road trip with my family. You wouldn't think to look at it from the outside, but this place is AWESOME! Don't let the fact that it's a small restaurant sandwiched in a strip mall or that it doesn't look fancy fool you. The food was great, the service was quick and friendly. We got spanokopita, a Gyro and Greek potatoes with tzatziki sauce. The spanokopita was fresh, crispy, and stuffed full. The Gyro was full of fresh and flavorful ingredients. The Greek potatoes were perfectly cooked and seasoned and were even better when dipped in a little tzatziki sauce. I would definitely eat here again! Rating from F to A+++ I would rate it an A++. The decor could be a little more up to date is my only critique. read more

This locations always is out of something. After I ordered a combo I walk over to the tea urn, it was totally empty. If you don't have any tea, how about having a sign on the register telling your customers that, I don't drink fountain drinks? My Gyro meat was dry dry dry, like it's been sitting on the grill just simmering, my potatoes were perfect. I hate coming to this location, it's always something wrong. I've been a Grecian Gyro customers since the mid 80s, I grew up in College Park but have m done with the Forest Park location, it sucks. read more

The foods is great every time I order, the staff is lovely as well always warm smiles given. It makes me want to return every time.

The young lady working as the cashier had a serious attitude problem. I was asking her why the price was ringing up differently on the register than what was printed on the menu. She was insisting it was different because I added something onto my gyro. I explained that that wasn't why. She yelled at me and walked away out of frustration. Her coworkers stepped in and very easily explained that the prices on the printed menu are old and no longer accurate. I thanked them for explaining that and paid for my order. She needs to work on customer service because yelling at customers is NEVER okay. read more

Great tasting sandwich. Just wish it was a little bigger. Meat was hearty and such was good

Tried this spot for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the grilled chicken salad, naan, and potatoes on the side. Everything was delicious and portions were plenty! Potatoes are a must-seasoned and fill you up quick. For the price these salads are superior in my opinion to Chic Fil A and Zaxby's. read more
