But understand, I did not thoroughly look over the cake because number one, we were in a Quick Trip parking lot and my thought process was, I can not really address any issues here because my mother ordered the cake and not me. Two, I was not going to put myself in any deplorable situation especially when it was not in a business friendly environment. I think we all know, things can go to left very quickly especially at gas stations. So, I left and when I got home, the cake was so messy, it was soggy, wet on top, the pineapples were placed unevenly, the cherries looked sunken down into the cake, there was no glaze on the cake, a piece of the cake was chipped off at the bottom, and a piece of the pineapple was missing a piece! I immediately took a picture of this and sent it to my mom! My mom called Ms.Wells and she had every excuse in the world why the cake looked the way it does! She did not want to compensate my mother in any way and she also told my mother she should of charged her a EXTRA 35 DOLLARS!
