The meal was very reasonably priced--I paid around $8, which is hard to beat these days. The food had good flavor and actually reminded me a lot of JJ's Chicken & Fish. I'm not sure if the two are affiliated, but the seasoning and overall taste were very similar. My only complaint was the texture. The chicken wings were fried a little too hard for my liking, while the french fries could have used a little more time in the fryer. It was kind of a mixed experience because one was overcooked and the other was undercooked. Fortunately, both still had good flavor. Overall, I'd give Sharks Chicken & Fish 3.5 out of 5 stars. While this meal wasn't quite a home run, I'd definitely be willing to come back and try something else on the menu. Pretty typical fish and wing spot no different from the others. Stopped in for a quick impromptu dinner and ordered rather quickly. No long wait connected to a gas station so I could get what I needed and order food at the same time. Ordered shrimp and fries for myself and wing and tenders combo for my kids that were with me eyeballing my food. Flow of service was good I saw guests pick up and go constantly. This place almost made me sick. I ordered the Ocean Perch with a chicken tenders meal, and the moment I tried to taste the fish, I noticed a very foul smell. It was so bad that even the cashier noticed my reaction and immediately spoke to the cook. That's when they confirmed the fish was spoiled. The staff offered to replace the meal, but at that point I was completely disgusted and disappointed. A situation like this should never happen at a restaurant serving food to customers. To make matters worse, this happened on my 40th birthday, which made the experience even more upsetting. This is my second time at Sharks and my second time at this location. The girl taking your order is very sweet and inviting. Our order was correct and came out fresh in about 15mins which is fine being it's hot and fresh. The amount of food is just ridiculous for the cost. The signature seasoning, I believe lemon pepper and ranch mix, makes the food different from everything else. The fries are also the seasoned fries so it's that much better. The restaurant is clean and there is available seating inside. The AC works! If for some reason you have the ability to eat dessert the banana pudding and the strawberry kiwi is phenomenal.... I usually get the wings and catfish nuggies but this time we tried the Philly cheesesteak and it was we worth the $9 price tag. The lady at the counter was very friendly and was much better than the one from last time. Very welcoming atmosphere. The food was good and fresh. I really have zero complaints about Sharks. We needed gas but we were also hungry so finding convenient fast food that was also decent was a bonus. And Sharks offers fried foods that aren't at every fast-food joint. They're adjacent to a convenience store & gas station right off of I-75. Since my notes at the time were brief, I'll keep this short. Their fried okra was the star! I ate too many because they were awesome. The crab bites were also great... not tiny and quite tasty. Their fried shrimp & fries were good but not memorable... for fast food, though, that's not a bad thing. Hubs went in to Sharks while I filled up (Exxon gas with a Walmart+ discount), so I can't speak on their service. But the food must have been prepared (fried) fresh because he had to wait. When I went in to the convenience store to use the restroom, I saw no other customers at Sharks, so the wait was not due to demand. However, I will never complain about waiting for my fried food when everything is made to order. read more

We went on a recommendation. The girl at the counter was SO nasty. I guess because she had a bonnet and hoodie on her head as the FIRST person you see. Upon saying, she gave me a $1 bill and a hand full of coins. I asked, "you don't have anymore bills?" She takes the money OUT of my hand and says, "you want it or not?" She goes to the Manager, I suppose and tells him, "I'm about to cancel this order so quick." I replied, "no you're not." I quickly asked to speak with him and explain the situation. He tells me, "he didn't see it." I should have followed my first mind, asked for a refund and left. However, the guest I had with me wanted to try it. Then, he fried the chicken gizzards SO hard. It was awful. I trashed mine. Never again will I patronize this restaurant. Many of these counter workers barely finished high school, can't count change accurately and are just NASTY! The shrimp were seasoned very well, the red snapper was big but it was not flakey (if that makes sense). The coleslaw was in a little condiment container and more so creamy. Found this place by mistake! I happen to visit my daughter in ATL during the time everyone was having issues with Gas. I'm out riding around looking for a gas station that had gas and in the mist of look for that gas station I ran into the restaurant attached to the gas station! I thought the fish was gonna taste like these Chinese restaurants up here in Philly,no taste! But I was wrong ! This was fresh whiting with very little bones. The seasoning was on point and had a very nice crunch. The fish was hot! You had to do that thing where you cool it down in your mouth!! the fries were hot and tasty as well they gave a little container with this tasty season powder. What took the cake was they had the little sweet potato pies from my home town Paterson NJ. If you have never had one of these pies you are truly missing a treat! Apparently whatever lady works there didn't actually write down my order placed via phone so after waiting in line for 20+ minutes because the inside is closed, I'm asked to go back to the end of the line so he can make my order.
