The seafood boil lacked flavor and wasn't spicy at all despite an order for it to be hot. I should've taken a pic but I didn't. I knew just by looking at it that it wouldn't be tasty : ( The catfish basket took longer to prepare than the seafood boils. In addition, there's Christmas decor hanging from the nets attached to the ceiling in the dining area and it's August. Pretty soon it won't matter though will it? First time trying this place through Uber eats and a bit upset the order was not right . I don't know how the mix up was made from the restaurant for my ticket but kind of bummed to not have the crab fries I ordered. I'm not a huge fan of fried calamari so gave it away to another family member. Fried scallops were seasoned nicely and the catfish po boy sandwich and Cajun fries were good. I always order through Door Dash and pick up my order.I spend less that $40 and Have enough food for now,later and more later. It's not as GOOD as Spondivits , BUT its worth it and full of taste. The customer service was great as well, I'm not sure if she was a manager but she kept informing to go order customers about the status of their food. The other employees also were very friendly. The menu was easy to navigate, I got the Seafarer which includes snow crab legs, shrimp, sausage, eggs, corn & potatoes. I also got black mussles with the Krabs hut special house blend which includes all sauces. They, hands down, have better snow crab legs than juicy crab (you can see my reviews for them) they're thick & sweet, my only issue was my legs were cold I expected them to be warm. Amazing. The fries they use are similar to those of a lot of seafood restaurants.. think the same cut as captain ds... but they give a decent amount of crab and the sauce is boss. Amazing. At this point and time, when I last visited a month ago, no one was really eating inside. A lot of people are still doing take out only, but I think it will come to an end as restaurants are allowed to open back up. I got the "Get Your Hands Dirty" 2 cluster snow crabs with 3x eggs and it came with corn and potatoes. The corn was frozen corn, which im not a fan of at all. Fresh corn will always bring a crab boil to life. The frozen corn taste like plastic and chewy, tbh. It's ok not the best not the worst. I'm full so I guess that's all that really matters. I thought it was carry out only but I was wrong. Once inside we decided to eat in. Crab fries for starters that was delicious. They were a little light on the crab meat but the yum yum sauce gave it a delicious taste. The crab boil combined with shrimp was just ok. I expected the garlic butter seasoning to be like the pictures on the menu, but to my disappointment it was not. Actually it was a little too watery for my taste. The coleslaw had a nice little tart sting to it. But it was too creamy for my taste. The texture was to mushy and soft. Fifty bucks for an impromptu dinner date (and the date only ordered an appetizer). I must add that this place is getting over BIG TIME. The only thing that were subpar would be the crab cakes. Now they were hot and fresh but just more breading that actual crab. But you really can't complain. It's not like a Maryland crab or a place you would expect more close to the water. This is somewhere that will hit the spot if your close for that seafood bag you want.
