We have lived in our Diamond Bar home for 25yrs and unfortunately the Amana 5-ton, 16-SEER HVAC system we had installed in JAN 2016 abruptly died after only eight yrs of service because the company that we hired improperly installed it- The air handler was tightly compressed into a compact furnace closet with only 1" of usable room to intake air...This forced the old system to work much harder than necessary and ultimately led to its abrupt systemic death in the Fall of 2023. We received multiple estimates from HVAC companies like Service Champions and Lennox (via Costco), and we were astonished at the steep prices- Upwards of $30,000!!!! So is this some kind of scam? Apparently, this company doesn't actually intend to provide any of the listed government funded services or products. They're just collecting names from the utility companies so they can get paid. They contacted me and scheduled an appointment, and then, after waiting around all morning, no one showed up. I called them and scheduled a phone call the next day to get enrolled in the program, and again, no one called. Finally, I request an enrollment call online and even receive auto-reminder for the call. And you guessed it... no one calls. Since the person I spoke to didn't seem surprised or concerned that none of their staff followed through with the scheduled appointments, I can only conclude this whole business is just a way for them to collect government money without actually doing anything AKA a scam!!! It looks like service in southern California is better than northern California based on the reviews I have read. The techs came and they were very nice. My issue is that there was a carbon monoxide leak that was confirmed by PG&E in my stove/oven after the techs called them to confirm. PG&E suggested that I call them back for the next steps. I never received a call back although I have left several messages. The PG&E tech capped my gas line for my safety but now I haven't used my kitchen for days. I am thinking of suing bec this is a life threatening issue that needs to be addressed. read more

all i could say is they destroyed me whole ac system. when they came to put in a new thermastate & once they connected a fan up in my attic. the guy burnt or damaged something connecting the hvac system. that nothing works anymore.. i've had about 7 or 8 techs come to disconnect the fan. ithe tech said it was becouse i needed the new thermastate installed. ok so i let him. it still didnt work. after he left my fan wouldn't turn off for almost 2 weeks. my bill was almost $600.. i had to pay. plus, i had no idea that when the gas co promotes to for energy conservation. they contract out to 3rd parties. i trusted this program becouse of the gas companies integrity.. the customer has the right to know it's 3rd party. we have the right to review who's coming into our home & how experienced this workers are.. when i called the qcs the scheduling coordinator was rude disrespectful.. was yelling at me. i had to keep saying i'm the customer. they contacted me for these services. not me calling them. we'll i called gas co. to report their people. both supervisors spoke. it's been. 9months. 3 months since my vacation broke. and now supervisor will come to inspect it himself. what's sad is the scheduling coordinator argued with me as if i was trying to get them to pay for an ac system that was "assumedilly" already broken.. a false report.. so, demeaning. not everyone's ghetto like that.. take responsibility & fix your damage.. my ac system was working great before you"qvc" guys touched it.. i am a disgruntled customer. read more

They came out 2 weeks prior to the delivery to measure door openings and my refrigerator to make sure it would fit & I received their okay. Today, they refused to haul it out. I enrolled when i moved in to my new place. They sent a technician to my previous address. I called to reschedule and left several messages and it took over a month to get a technician out to my current place. The technician came out and approved a new refrigerator in late October. I have not received a call from anyone about it since then. I have called and called and they never have anyone available that can actually make decisions on my account. Its frustrating having to jump through all these hurdles and dealing with these people just to save energy! read more

Great free service. I can't recommend them enough! Enrolling online and talking to a scheduler was very easy. Ariel came by and weatherized my whole apartment, installed a great new Nest wifi thermostat, and answered all our questions. The installers were COVID-Safe and wore masks the whole time. We also got a solar powered generator for free because we qualified with our income. Let me start by saying from the start QCS was on the job. Cecila was patient with me as I had some delays upon the initial install. We rescheduled and her team came out. Jesse was beyond experience and an expert. No Mickey Mouse job would do for him. He removed my entire system and replaced al new ducting, wiring and pipes. He even removed the old installation and installed new state of the art installation. I know for a fact any other electrical service would not have taken the time to do the job he did. I really thought service like this was left behind in the good old days. The installation of the water heater was fabulous! The only problem I had was a pipe burst during installation due to water pressure from water shut off, totally NOT their fault. However, when I asked them to shut the water main off it took almost 30 minutes because the tech was on the phone. I'm medium old & don't have the strength to lift the cover myself. I was trying to minimize water damage & flooding before the plumber arrived. The only negative experience with them. Once the plumber arrived they were very helpful and finished the job even though they were running late. Very happy with the end product. read more
