Recently, I was involved in two seperate body repair issues for a family members' car and I was completely impressed with Quality Body and their guy, Doug! Every step of the process was informative, clear, honest and smoothe. Luckily, I took the car to TWO other well-known places in Eureka for estimates BEFORE I went to Quality Body. Then, I spoke to Doug, one of the Service Writers at Quality Body. Doug was fast, accurate, and very knowledgeable! He spotted the main issue right away and the overall repair (first issue) was LESS INVOLVED than the other two estimates! Therefore, I saved almost $600 on the first repair! The second issue, about two months later, was handled efficiently and in a prompt manner. Doug kept me informed regularly and I never had to call and wait on hold for him. (That might change now, after this review!) I was happy that I did not have to initiate all of the contact to get updates. Plus, the car was ready exactly on time! **ADDED BONUS Each time I picked up the car, the check out process was fast and efficient! Wow! I simply made an online appt. Upon arrival I found the staff cherry and professional, the waiting area clean and inviting. I was seen immediately. Nat brought me to my vehicle and had a couple of bottles and a rub cloth. He explained how the compound wouldn't t hurt my finish or paint but could remove the other vehicle paint transfer. He then applied it to my fender that had been hit and run and finished up with a coat of wax. Poof... my fender was basically back to new again. He made suggestion to get a bottle of touch up elsewhere for the spots where the paint had been scratched off by the other vehicle. The cost: zero! What? Yes, no charge! Later that day I arrived back with a plate of warm chocolate chip cran- strawberry cookies; my. granddaughter's recipe creation! Old fashion customer service is never overlooked! I always come to quality body works to repair my car... and lemme tell you, it ALWAYS comes back looking brand spanking new! Flawless work every single time. Doug is always extremely helpful, so is Bo and Skip. When I see Dave he is always helpful as well. When I lived 5 hours away in the Bay Area I drove my car all the way here for the excellent work they do. I've had my car in this shop at least 10 times. No lie. I'm telling you, I've been other places and nobody does work like these guys. If you have Geico, don't go here. Geico insurance doesn't pay for quality work. I've had geico before and they low balled quality. They were only willing to pay $700 when the repairs costed 4K. If you have AAA, AAA guarantees their work and they pay for it in full minus your deductible. If you have Geico you're screwed no matter what bodyshop you choose. You get what you pay for. This last repair cost $15,000 and my insurance wanted to total the car so I had to pay for half the work. But lemme tell you, it was god d$&@ flawless work! ***since the review above I've had to take my car back to the body shop for more repairs because someone hit my car again. Just got my car back. It looks BETTER than before the crash. I swear the paint job and clear coat look soooo sexy and perfect. I always get so happy driving away in my car when I pick it up from this place. It's like driving it brand new off the lot again. One of the things you get with quality is literally quality work. You also get piece of mind because they guarantee their work. For example my car came back flawless as far as the eye can see but there was a small mechanical problem in the door. The child lock got stuck. All I had to do was call Doug at Quality and he said "bring it down right away and we'll fix that for you and give you a loaner car so you can go about your day". If that isn't EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE than I don't know what is. If you read all my reviews and see I usually leave bad ones than you know a place is top notch when I leave good reviews. Once again I am in need of the services of Quality Body Works. I truly wouldn't even consider going to another body shop even if it would save me $1,000 or more. While this time I am paying cash due to a small fix, they got me in within a week and are doing it for a very acceptable price. They are even trying a fix to save me even more money! I have yet to pick up my car and will finish the review at that time so stay tuned. Btw my car is now 10 years old and it still looks brand spankin new! I owe that all to quality body works! No I don't work for these guys. If you read all my reviews you know I ONLY give positive reviews for outstanding service. If you give me bad service you get a horrible review so believe me my review of quality body works is as legit as it gets. They returned my car to bring it back another day that works for me for the windshield. That's what I like about this damn place. They coulda kept my freaking car for over a week waiting for the glass guy to come in or do the handle so my door works and give back my car until the glass company can make it in. This way I don't have to worry about getting a rental, only had my car gone for less than half a day! These folks are born and bred to fix your ride. If yu leave unhappy, then you are one of those miserable people that nothing can make yu happy. Handing yu a million dollars cash wouldn't crack a smile on your face. It's the sad truth. Remember, if you have GEICO or The General for insurance, nows the time to hate yourself for being cheap. Get AAA or State Farm or farmers. AMAZING SERVICE!! Just had my bumper/front of my car fixed due to an unfortunate run in with a deer. The entire experience was great from getting a quote to picking up my car. A turkey flew into my van, smashing the window and denting the roof. I could not be more impressed with the job they did. I have a custom roof rack with a solar system that needed to be removed. I was very pleasantly surprised that they managed to re-install every thing and the solar system was working perfectly. They even replaced the strip of shade stuff I had on the top of the windshield! There were some electrical bugs when I picked it up and they scheduled a fix it day at my convenience and even insisted on loaning me a car to use while the repairs were done. Some months back, my wife was involved in a collision that crunched the whole drivers side, from the front quarter to the rear tail light. The folks at Quality were extremely professional, thorough, and helpful throughout the repair process. They even take care of the details regarding the rental car (if one is needed). A couple of weeks ago, I found (due to the sloppy road-workers in the area) that I had some road line paint splashed up on the drivers side tires and body. I contacted my insurance, who actually entered the claim in the computer (5 minutes) and then remained on the line to facilitate a conference call to Quality. The help was again, all it was supposed to be, and I'm on my way in now to Quality to get 'er fixed. Got my car back from Quality Body Works and it looks amazing! I really dig the staff, too. I never want to be in a collision again, but if I am I know where I will take my car. Oh? Did I mention that my cost ended up being less than the estimate? That was a bit of good news. I had a preexisting problem and asked them to fix it. Ross and Skip are awesome! Skip went over the proposal with me to make sure our expectations were on the same page, he really knows what he is talking about. They even took a little risk on in trusting that I could select a competent NON-OEM vendor for the replacement Sport-Style bumper I wanted to use. Umnitza, a company out of LA-mostly known for their work on retrofit HID Angel-Eye kits for BMW's-they offer good pre-painted bumpers per the Bimmerfest forum, gave them a shot, for the cost I am pleased with the results. Ross completed the initial insurance-related claim-adjustment and everything worked smoothly, professionally and expeditiously. I will definitely be seeing Quality Body Works again for any future repairs that I need taken care of. Love this place!! The business name is truly fitting. They do great quality work and the staff are always pleasant and still have that good old fashion customer service. They really do care about each individual customer and give 100% quality workmanship. Liz wrote up my work order and I kind of teased her at the time because she is a women (I can say this because I am a women too), and I was concerned she did not know the facts of my car and needed repairs. Needless to say she proved me wrong and she is a jewel along with the others in the reception area. I even found a little container of paint left inside my car in case I need it for those little scratches that happen, and a signed thank you card along with a completely cleaned car inside and out. I can't express how amazing Ross and the entire Quality team are! I had a gnarly scratch on my front bumper and wanted it fixed before I left on a road trip to visit my parents. I submitted photos for Quality's online quote and their team got back to me the same day! Ross had me bring my car in the same day to better assess the damage. This is my first car and my first time dealing with an insurance claim and auto shop, and Ross made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. He was an advocate for me in dealing with my insurance company (Geico made the process difficult), always kept me in the loop of what was going on, and made sure I knew my rights as a Geico customer to be fully reimbursed for my out-of-pocket expenses. Ross also made sure to get my car fixed within my short notice schedule (about 1.5 weeks) which was amazing! The team who fixed my car did an excellent job, it looks like a brand new car!! They even left a bottle of car paint for touch ups, and a hand written note with a gift certificate when I picked up my car. Due to one of our local deer I had to take our brand new Toyota into Quality Body Works for some pretty extensive repair. From the estimate to delivery Bo was amazing. He worked directly with our insurance on the estimate making the whole process easy for us, kept me updated on the status of work and explained in detail what was done when I picked up the vehicle. I had a speedy and happy experience today at Quality Body Works. Granted, it was a small job... went in for an estimate on what it would take to bend out my fender where someone backed into it, and where every time i opened the truck door, it would bind and scrape on the fender. The friendly guy looking it over for the estimate said, "We can probably take care of that for you right now," and went in to get another dude with a pry tool. He put the tool into the crack between the door and the fender, teased the two apart a bit, swung the door to test it... Voila! No crunching noise. This is all i wanted (i have a '93 Toyota truck with a home-done paint job... perfection is not the goal, only damage control). Anyway, i asked what the damages were, and they cheerfully told me "No charge!" Simple job, took two minutes... but i sure appreciated that sort of small-town, good-spirited service. I took my car there to get the door fixed after being hit when I got the car back there was still wind Noise coming from door. Called back and they said to bring it in and they would fix it. Took the car on freeway and still getting the noise. Got car back and still have the wind noise. Then they told me the seal must be bad brought it back for the third time and still have the same problem. They said they can't figure it out. I wanted some help with some damage on my car. This business was large and must be good right? I walked into the office. The guy who greeted me was less that enthusiastic to talk to me. I told him that I was interested in some body damage help. I didn't get into specifics or anything. I was looking for him to come look and tell me how much money I needed to get from the bank. He told me that they only do insurance work and that he wouldn't help me. He didn't even get out of his chair and look at my car. So I turned to leave, then after refusing me service, he asks what I came in for. I couldn't believe it! If you go here make sure you wear a suit and bring 5-6 grand cash to wave around so you can get some decent service. The next place I went to the guy was polite, came outside and checked my car out, he also gave me a pretty high quote. But its worth it to get my car back to where it should be.
