Instead of coming out and charging me to replace the windshield for a solution that he knew would not work, AJ called me immediately and let me know what the most likely problem was. He said the windshield replacement would not solve it, and that I needed to re-seal or replace the cowl under the windshield wipers. He was right.! The experience was absolutely wonderful! Safelite is normally the "go to" when it comes to window repair, but honestly, I prefer the little guys. They are so much more attentive and I feel like my money is actually supporting someone, rather than overpaying for a large corporate name. I would HIGHLY recommend this company. The professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail here are on another level -- this isn't just a body shop, it's a place full of people who genuinely care about what they do. The owner deserves a special mention -- an incredibly hardworking, honest, and true person. You can instantly tell he runs this shop with heart and integrity. He doesn't cut corners, doesn't oversell, and makes sure every job leaving his shop is something to be proud of. That kind of authenticity is rare these days, and it sets the tone for the entire team. At the front desk, I was welcomed by one of the nicest people I've ever dealt with. She made the whole process -- from booking the appointment to final pickup -- smooth, easy, and stress-free. Her warmth and professionalism instantly made me feel taken care of, and I can't thank her enough for that. Now, I have to talk about Mika -- the man, the myth, the absolute wizard with a hammer. Watching him work was unreal. Even when I thought everything looked perfect, Mika kept going, making tiny precision taps and adjustments until it was beyond perfect. His attention to detail is out of this world. It's rare to see someone take that much pride in their craft -- he's not just fixing cars, he's creating rolling artwork. They even let me come inside the shop to watch the process up close -- something most places would never allow. It gave me a whole new appreciation for the effort, precision, and passion that go into their work. And as a bonus? They have the sweetest little shop dog who hung out with me while I watched. It made the whole experience personal, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable. When I finally saw my car finished, I was completely speechless. The quality, the shine, the perfection -- everything looked brand new. I'm not exaggerating when I say I almost needed jaw replacement surgery from how hard it dropped. If you want honest people, flawless craftsmanship, and an experience that leaves you grinning like a kid on Christmas morning, go to After the Storm Body Shop. To the owner, the front desk angel, Mika, and the entire team -- thank you. You've earned a lifelong customer, and I'll be recommending you to everyone I know. After the Storm Body Shop = Perfection, Precision, and Pure Heart.

UPDATE 9/18/26: STILL NO RESOLUTION…read more Unfortunately, despite Justin responding to me and repeatedly saying he was "trying" to resolve this, my vehicle is STILL sitting at Toyota of Denton and has not been repaired. On September 11, Justin told me in writing that he would be speaking with Toyota that day to work toward a resolution. He also acknowledged that After The Storm had been unable to determine the cause of the headlight issue and confirmed that warranty work would be handled by his shop. I made it very clear that after approximately 11 months and multiple opportunities for After The Storm to correct the problems, I was not authorizing my vehicle to be taken back to their shop yet again. Toyota has already diagnosed the issue, and I simply want the necessary repairs completed properly so I can finally have my vehicle back. It is now September 18, another week has passed, and nothing has been resolved. Toyota has again been unable to get the necessary follow-through from Justin, and I am once again left without meaningful communication or a concrete resolution. I continue to hear that he is "trying," but there is still no action, payment, completed repair, or date for when I will get my vehicle back. My insurance paid this shop over $19,000, and I paid a $2,500 deductible. This repair began October 23, 2025. Nearly a YEAR later, my vehicle is still not properly repaired. At this point, promises to "make it right" mean very little without action. I need After The Storm to follow through, honor its warranty obligations, work with Toyota, and get my vehicle repaired and returned to me. I will continue updating this review until this situation is actually resolved.
