Blue star called me and gave me a quote for $360, he explained that most businesses use the camera recalibration as an excuse to up charge and that he wouldn't be disconnecting any wires when replacing my windshield. I was a bit skeptical at first, I was worried I would have to go get my camera recalibrated. (I have a 2022 Honda Accord). It's been 2 and a half weeks since I had it replaced and I've had no issues, camera still works just as good! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative than giving your money to the dealerships. After asking, I was told that the camera calibration for my car (Hyundai Tucson) was not needed, and that other companies unplugged the camera so that it would have to be recalibrated. Here they do not unplug the camera during windshield installations for most vehicles except a select few where it is actually required. This saved me nearly $300 off the competition already. The windshield was done very well. The person that was sent out to change my car's windshield was friendly, did a great job, and was on-time, even giving me notice that he was going to arrive in around an hour in advance. The glass looks nice, and is of even better quality than the original windshield. And, as stated, my lane departure camera still works just as well after the replacement as it did before, maybe even better too. After being quoted higher than the original agreed price, I called back to ask about that to see if it could be fixed. At the time I called, the owner was not available, so I was told by another associate that I would receive a call back regarding my billing and that they wouldn't need my payment details until then. As promised, the new business day I received a call and the problem was resolved! Not only did the owner go out of his way to make sure I was completely satisfied with the service I had received, but he also reviewed my recorded call which contained the original quote when I called initially and even played it for me to hear so I knew I was getting the price that was agreed upon at first. While they were doing it, they popped up the window.Because it's a convertible that's how they make it fit. In doing so the prop was leaning on the button that made the convertible go up and down. It burned up that motor. They said that they did not do it and they refused to fix it. We will never recommend them and never use them again.

I asked what the difference is and he said only the stamp in the corner. I chose the after market because he said "I'd be very happy with it." Immediately after he replaced my windshield, I got an alert saying that my forward camera needed to be recalibrated. I messaged him asking about it and he said he didn't unplug my camera, etc. and then offered no support. The dealership said it would be $300 to recalibrate which I couldn't afford at the time. Well, I finally brought my car in because I can't get my annual safety & emissions renewal without the recalibration and they said that it's not the camera, it's the windshield itself. It's not compatible with my car's cameras because of some special gel that's required in the glass that acts as a filter. Therefore, I need to replace the ENTIRE windshield again plus the recalibration which will cost $1500!! All because of this business's negligence and misguidance. I reached out and explained everything to them and they didn't even have the decency to respond. Filed a complaint with Yelp but because this business isn't a part of the Yelp Guarantee Program, there's nothing they can do. Plus I paid in cash so my bank can't assist. AVOID THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY!! Edit: of course he responds after receiving a bad review, but only to insinuate it's my fault and calling me a procrastinator? Since I can't respond to a review reply, here's what I messaged him: Oh now you respond because you got a bad review? This has nothing to do with me having to wait because I couldn't afford to get the recalibration done. Mazda quoted my $275 for the recalibration itself but it has nothing to do with the camera. Even if they attempted to recalibrate, the glass is not compatible with these cameras, which you should have known. They said without the required gel and the clarity issues with this after market glass, it wouldn't be possible without a complete replacement with Mazda glass (whether I do it with them or third party). They even showed me on the glass you replaced how the gel was done improperly. So you can take your poor customer service and terrible work ethic and enjoy my rightfully bad review!
