I first used Pro Tint 15 years ago when I bought my car. 15 years later in the Dallas sun, the tint was beginning to bubble and loosen around the edges. These guys are great. They did a second car for me and I previously used them over 14 years ago! They were straightforward in there communication on yelp (very responsive to DMs) and even set me an appointment through yelp. Originally said it would take over 3 hours for my car but I was in and out in an hour and a half because another person cancelled their job so they could use extra folks on my car. They did a good job of explaining everything and returning the car in great shape. Called them a week in advance, set up an appointment, showed up with the car, and had tint completed within 45 minutes for my four door sedan. What more could you ask for? Tint will have bubbles/streaks at first, but will go away within two days. You also can't roll down your windows within 48 hours of tinting, and they'll provide stickers to place over your window buttons. They know what they're doing, for the most part. But, sadly, they didn't cut out the third brake light in the rear window. So now I have to pay to have that done elsewhere. Went in thinking that maybe they'd be nice enough to fix their mistake, but just got a bunch of complaining about how it would be too difficult and that it'll look like crap afterwards, etc etc. Just be aware, and I guess make sure to mention it if it's going to be something that you want to have done. I figured all tint shops did it that way, but I was obviously wrong. Texas it's okay as far as I know, but other states you can fail or get a ticket from having tint covering the third brake light (Utah is a huge example of this). And even if it doesn't impact the visibility of the light that much, it's still nice to have it cut out as the light is there for a reason! Even I have trouble seeing if my wife is stopping from the tint covering it, and if I have trouble, I can only imagine a typical Texas driver behind it!! Oh and especially if you get darker, like limo tint, I'd definitely make sure to request them to cut it out since apparently that's not standard, they won't ask you, and they won't do anything to fix it right afterwards. Was going to bring my 2 other cars to them but after this, even with it being minimal to some (including the employees of this shop), it's huge for me and I'll have to take them elsewhere after this. I'd suggest to the owner of this place to at least ask if they want it cut out or not, instead of assuming they don't want it cut out! read more

This place is great. I had my car windows tinted here over 15 years ago. My driver's side window started to get air bubbles in it and they without blinking an eye fixed it. But save your receipt and scan a copy of them in case they fade after a long time. They also checked my other windows just in case. Do I recommend them? Heck yea. These guys do good work and they do honor the lifetime warranty. I am a happy customer. I noticed the price on my Receipt and what they charge to tint windows now and they still have great prices. I went back and forth trying to decide where I wanted to get my white 2015 Ford Edge Sport tinted. A friend had used pro tint but I wasn't sure yet so I checked out Alta Mere first. Randy educated me on legal limits, tint percentages, and heat reduction. I took quotes for the typical 3 levels of quality/heat reduction and went straight to Pro Tint. Junior/Claudio gave me quotes for their 3 typical levels. I wanted full tint all around and sunroof. Interestingly, pro tint had better prices on the sunroof while Alta Mere had better prices on full tint depending on which quality level you got. Both had pictures of tinted vehicles with positive reviews. It came down to tint brand used. LLumar tint is used by pro tint. It has a lifetime warranty which is good nationwide. I'll be moving soon and if anything happens, any other LLumar dealer will fix it for free. For passenger windows, back hatch, dual sunroof and windshield tint I was told it would take 2.5 hours. Actual time 1hr 40min! Sides 15%, hatch 5%, back sunroof 5%, front sunroof 15%, windshield 90% LLumar ATC (premium dyed, non-metallic) They do require a copy of your medical exemption if going darker than legal. read more

In February, I booked my vehicle in for a Saturday morning to have the windows tinted (a 'new to me' 2016 Mercedes 300) - I arrived at the designated time and the entire process - including the initial consult for the tint that was best for me took approx. 50 minutes. I didn't want to write this review until I had the tint on my vehicle for a while! I picked Lumar CTX (30%) on the front to be TX Legal - on the back, I picked Lumar CTX (15%). The reason for picking the Ceramic over the Metallic was that I didn't want the tint to interfere with my keyless entry (which is doesn't). On checkout, you are given a sheet on what not to do and what to do - and this is also explained to you verbally - It is worth noting the sheet states 'It may take 4-10 weeks for ceramic tint to 'dry'' (meaning all the bubbles disappear! Mine took approximately 8 weeks before I could say - yep - it all looks good. Note: If you opt for Huper Optik, the darkest they stock (as of 19th May 2018) is the 30%. I liked the job they did on my vehicle so much that I brought my wife's car (2008 Volvo C30) - in yesterday to have tint applied. They did the CTX 30 on the front and CTX 15 back and sides. Claudio answered all of my questions and already knew about the special needs my car has and recommended me a Llumar ceramic tint that goes well with my car. I came in on our agreed appointment day and didn't feel pressured. I was estimated about 3-4 hours, but I followed some advice to take the earliest possible slot. The team had my car ready in roughly an hour, which was awesome and very unexpected. They do have wifi available if you ask. I had never really noticed, but my mother always said "you air condition in this car is amazing!!! It is always so cold in your car!!!" I just thought I had a good car. This month, I purchased a 2012 model and it was warm driving toward Houston!!1 I could feel my arm getting a farmer's tan as I drove toward the sun. I could feel myself fighting the glare from the other cars. I felt as if someone was trying to blind me with a mirror. Anyhow, I took my new car to Pro tint. these guys do amazing work. My tint [on my other car] never turned [purple, never bubbled, and came with a lifetime warranty. the prcies are $195 for a three year warranty and $215 for a lifetime warrant.y. The reality is that I had not purchased an car with an AWESOME air conditioner. The tint I had purchased from Pro Tint blocked 50% of the sun rays and helped insulate my car. Now that my windows are tintied in my 2012 model, THIS car gets very cold.... BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
